Easily the best SW along with The Empire Strike Back 

not even judging how VII or VIII were good or bad when just seen as a movie and its successor,
even if the third one ends up a great movie by usual movie criteria

this trilogy is an heir to a whole franchise for which dozens of authors have proven how incredibly great it could be,
and in context with this very franchise and any generally reasonable galactic-scale thought-out universe,
the storyline and events chosen for and leading up to these movies are poorer than a slave boy on Tatooine,
and they will forever belong into a garbage can that was ejected by a Star Destroyer in that planet's very orbit,
which was then shot by a random-ass pilot who played with his new ion cannon,
which knocked it out of orbit to enter the atmosphere, almost burn to a crisp, smack down into the sand,
only to be eaten by a Bantha and being pooped out one dune further only to be covered by sand forever and ever
which is a fitting end to it until the twin suns themselves implode
because I don't frickin' like sand.

so, here's an idea to be able to save the movies from here:

1 - Get Abrams as far away from them as possible.

2 - Ditch the Skywalkers and focus on a "new" character for the Big Screen. I heard Revan is available.

3 - Get the person who wrote the story of Revan to write the movie(s).
