  1. yes! if you right click on the app and click "show package contents", you find the files in Contents/Resources.
  2. you just have to change the transparent color to something else.
  3. we had to fix a lot of sprites for that issue.
  4. yeah, you'll have to pull your save from the wine folder if you still want to use it
  5. to be fair, the internet browser is just complete ass at everything i'd personally place my bets on it being n3DS only if it even works in the first place

    18.3 beta

imma be real i don't know how this game manages to run in the first place.
  7. okay. so. maybe, you can install linux on a homebrewed wii. and we have a linux build. so there's theoretically a chance that it would work. and i am really opening the floodgates on this one but if it works on a wii it'd be reasonable to say it'd work on most devices you can force linux on. like a 3ds.
  8. i'm not actually sure. i would expect mods in general to not work, but it may still be worth trying.
  9. incompatibility issues with MKXP is the primary reason. the secondary reason is that we keep running into line break errors in text and this should significantly reduce the extent to which this is an issue
  10. update: this is no longer a beta! the e18.3 beta has been released! finally, mac and linux users can play the game without WINE. get it here! What's New: we have a whole new engine! the sole purpose of e18.3 is to take this engine and give it to you. for the sake of this post (and likely future posts): RMXP is the old engine. this is what you've been running for every episode up to now. it is still included in the windows download as Game.exe. MKXP is the new engine. this is what you're running if you use the mac and linux versions. it is Game-z.exe in the win
  11. ...huh. idk what to do about that either, given that it's a PNG and I don't expect macs to be that bad. try dropping the game in the applications folder and see what happens?
  12. hi! if your game doesn't work or something, post here.

    18.3 beta

i'm sorry but corporate copyright patent law dictates under Article 937.23-a Section B sub-clause 34 that under no circu- just kidding let me grab them (you can locate all of these in your very own personal Scripts.rxdata by searching for $pkmn_animations) first, we have: this is where the magic happens. instead of loading animations every. single. time. you load them here. once. the conditional isn't technically necessary, but it'll keep it from reloading them every time you soft reset. the other four cases are actually the same case: whenever you see

    18.3 beta

there's a json in the troubleshooting thread, which is where this belongs anyway
  15. fantastic. incredible. literally could not have put it better. (cuz i don't have a mac)
  16. honestly i'd appreciate that bc i still don't know how you crazy kids manage to use a fruit as a computer
  17. i think this is fixed by putting it into "applications" oh, please, you're gonna get a beta build too. only if it's a mac. this is the mac version. so it works for macs.
  18. ooh, yeah that's a good reminder: the engine works differently than it did before- instead of frameskipping when it can't keep up, fastforward basically just removes the framelimit. this is probably something we'll fix before making this an official non-beta release, but this does mean that it may run slower on weaker computers than it did before (even though it is also smoother).

    18.3 beta

i have and usually do with these things
  20. i believe that can also be fixed by tossing it in the applications folder
