  1. Excellent point! They do look awesome! I suppose that I was too caught up in the fact that I've already got a Cresselia to notice. They are awesome, and so far, I don't notice any field effects! I'm waiting for them to come, but if they don't, that's fine by me. I don't want every game to feel like Reborn/Rejuvenation.
  2. Chapter 3: Busted After getting bit by a Seviper, clearly the logical way to heal it off is to nap... ...or at least that's what the game tells us. As such, Chan gave Luna an objective: find out any information regarding Team Lightning. Luna decided to first check the library, as there is a wealth of knowledge already there. As she was looking, however, she found something much more sinister... ...a guy with no attention span. Seriously, how the hell has he not noticed that there's a Team Lightning base in front of him?! Seriously, though, it turns out that the Team Lightning base was in front of the book shelf. We decided to enter the base, and... ...well, I've got a couple things to say about them... Either way, as we made our way through the base, we received our first evolution! We eventually made our way to a large room of grunts, where we discovered something terrifying... Apparently, the Professor had been working with Team Lightning. That would be a nice twist if we connected with him in any way, but as it stands, the twist is meaningless. We overheard them say that they would be heading out to the forest. As we were heading out to stop them, however, we were met by the sick girl... That's right, the girl's father turns out to be the leader of Team Lightning. Without hesitation, the others ran off to stop them... ...and I say the others because we went back to visit the Lightning base. While there, we made a couple discoveries. First, we found a Lillipup in the back. Strangely enough, however, in that same room was a Master Ball. Why they would leave that there is beyond me, but whatever, I guess it works. We then tried breaking out Darkrai. However, nothing worked. We would have to free it another day... ...except we found something else in the back... Don't tell me... WHAT?! I don't think I have to elaborate how busted this is for this portion of the game. We not only got a Master Ball, but we also got access to Calm Mind from an old man outside! What makes it even worse is that soon after this, we get the TM for Psyshock! To be honest, I am now getting worried that legendaries will be thrown at us as if they are candy, and I really don't want that. It diminishes their value. Regardless, I guess we have a new team member. After that little incident, we ran to the woods, where we found... Corey? After that disappointing battle, Radius rage quit to the back of the forest. Before we gave chase, we found something neat! Of course, he wasn't able to activate his secret weapon, being the Alakazam in a tube. Because of this, we chased him back to the edge of the forest, where we found... ...another Alakazam in a tube? Still, we did run into Redi again. It was time for a rematch! As we were about to stop the machine, we were teleported away to a snowy forest. That would certainly explain why the trees were teleporting. Next time, we will be continuing into the forest! Current Team
  3. I remember that there were supposed to be another bunch of Alola forms we never got from the Chinese leaks. Of course, almost none of them came to Sun/Moon. Still, I would love to see them come to Ultra Sun/Moon. Imagine what a Mega Alolan Alakazam would look like! That would be fun to use!
  4. There is one option for me: Stantler In my opinion, this is arguably the worst Pokemon of all time (there are serious contenders for that, such as Luvdisc and Unown, but we'll get there). It has a horrible level up movepool, mediocre stats, and terrible design. I mean, look at this thing! In terms of when you get it, It comes later in the game at Tanzan Cove. Stantler learns moves such as Astonish at level 7... Stomp at level 13... Yeah, the level up moveset is pretty pathetic. It's best move is Confuse Ray, which isn't good enough. In fact, by this point, you have had the ability to get a much better Normal type: Simple Bibarel. Yeah, that sounds strange, but if you can set up a couple of Curses, Bibarel can decimate teams. It also gets a much wider amount of HM moves at its disposal in case you want to go through the game without it. If you hold off a bit more, you can even get a Tauros, Boufallant, or Miltank, all with much better stats! You may then be thinking to yourself, "Hey, maybe this thing has other uses. It looks like it could be a good HM Slave, maybe learning moves such as Rock Smash and Strength." Even then, you would be wrong. It learns zero HM moves as of Generation 4. In fact, it doesn't even serve any overworld purpose. At least Luvdisc can get you Heart Scales. The elemental monkeys are useful enough at the beginning due to their ability to get HM moves! Heck, even Unown can be used for grinding. However, that's not even the worst part. You may also be wondering to yourself, "Oh, that's okay. It came from an early generation, not to mention the fact that it's a deer Pokemon. That has to be unique, right?" WRONG! If you want a better deer Pokemon, catch a Sawsbuck! It has a unique typing (Grass/Normal) with much better stats, as well as a wider move pool. Overall, Stantler is completely pointless to this game. Sorry if I offended anyone who likes Stantler
  5. Chapter 2: Catching Spree After Chan reintroduced Luna to his friends, it was time to head back to the academy. Fortunately for us, along the way, we ran into a ton of Pokemon! Here are just a couple we caught. Of course, while in the cave, we ran into an interesting ice path. Honestly, I like these graphics. The shading looks quite nice, allowing the rocks to pop out more in comparison to Rejuvenation and Reborn. It also helps that nearby, there is even a legendary! Eventually, we made it out of the cave, where we ran into a battle between a Tauros and Boufallant! Of course, Chan told us to keep quiet, not wanting to disrupt the two. However, one of his friends decided to open his mouth, attracting the attention of the two Pokemon. It was time to fight... Eventually, we defeated the two members, and headed out to the academy... ...but not before catching another Pokemon! As we were about to arrive to the academy, we discovered something horrible: a little girl unconscious! Chan quickly picked her up, rushing her to the academy. We quickly followed suit... ...but not before catching yet another new Pokemon! Eventually, we made it to the academy. Chan had invited us to his room, but as we entered, we discovered an unfortunate familiar face... I'm sorry, didn't I beat you? Meh, whatever. There's honestly little reason for Luna to love him, anyway. We decided to rush Chan into his room, only to find it destroyed. As it turns out, Chan's father worked for Team Lightning, but eventually left. Soon afterwards, he perished. As such, the Lightning grunts are now looking for the professor to work on their machine. Next time, we will attempt to stop them! Current Team
  6. After the voting, it's clear that the Blind Run of Full Moon is the winner! As such, I have begun the run! You can find part one here:
  7. Welcome to my first run-through of Pokemon Full Moon! Let me first thank you for checking out this page. This run will be completely blind, and as such, I have no idea what to expect. I hope you enjoy some of my first impressions of this game! Chapter 1: The Abhorrent Absolution Before we even get to the beginning of the game, I am already blown away by the title screen! Look at this detail! There is so much art packed into this one image, and it really has me excited to see what the rest of this game has in store for us! At the introduction, the professor explains to us that we are a girl named Luna. She ran away from her family and friends due to her constant bullying. As such, we only have one friend with us: our trusty Arcanine. Again, this game goes above and beyond with the art! It is so neat to see this method of presentation. Since this is considered our best friend of the game, I thought there would be only one name fitting for him: As we were heading out of our cave home, we ran into a commander of a "Team Lightning" known as Redi. Redi challenged us to a battle, claiming we were withholding information from him. After defeating the leader, we met another new character. Chan tells us that he used to be a good friend of Luna's, but he eventually started to bully her. As such, this devastated Luna's psyche, making her feel completely alone. If that wasn't enough, however, Chan then said this: I am already getting a bad vibe from Chan at this point. To bully someone completely only to say "Sorry, by the way, I guess I love you, lol," is completely out of the blue. There was no character development, and Chan only comes off as a creeper in this scenario. Luna sees it, as well. As soon as she hears it, she tries to run as far away from him as possible. After all, after constant bullying from her "lover", there's no way she would just open up to him. Wouldn't it be ridiculous if- WHAT?! Before I rant, I should also mention that I indeed caught another team member. Meet the second member of the team: Either way, I cannot stressed how forced this romance currently feels. We as the player only know the guy for less than five minutes, and they are already star crossed lovers?! And this is even after all of the bullying! She doesn't get angry at Chan at all! She decided "Sure, I'll just go to your parent's house. I'm not sure if I trust you after all of those years of bullying yet, but sure, I guess I love you, lol." It's completely ridiculous and rushed. More time was needed to develop this relationship. Either way, Chan eventually brought us to his parents house. So far, if there is anything I can praise, it's the environments. So far, they look colorful, interesting, and... and... Grammatical errors aside, we got yet another new team member! As we walked into Chan's house, he told us something disturbing; his parents died. Of course, Luna offered her condolences. Chan allowed us to then explore his house, where we found something disturbing. We learn a bit more about Chan here, including the fact that his sister is the Champion, as well as the fact that his brother may have committed suicide. Chan found us reading the diary, asking why we were reading it. However, Luna lied to him, not wanting to hurt his feelings. We then heard a knock on the doorbell. As we went to look, we found more bullies from the school. As you may guess, rather than develop their characters, both of the old bullies tell Luna "You're dating Chan? Guess you're off limits now, lol." Honestly, my earlier rant applies here. They then discuss the fact that Team Lightning has invaded. Without question, Luna went off to confront the problem... ...but not before getting drunk! I really want to see if this has in game consequences. So far, I'm getting a lot of pre V9 Rejuvenation vibes from this game. In other words, it seems to have a stunning world, but not much character development. The dialogue also seems to need some work so far. However, I would still love to see what happens next. As such, next time, we will be confronting Team Lightning! Current Team
  8. I'm thinking of trying another play through. However, I want to do something never done before. Therefore, here is the question to you: how would you like one of these playthroughs?
  9. Thank you for the kind words! I actually have two Rotoms in the box! One is Modest, but has 0 IVs in Special Attack, and the other is Adamant. Still, that would be neat to consider. Either way, here are my movesets:
  10. Time for an update! I just completed this version of my run, and my goodness, I had a blast! However, I am still open to some team suggestions. Here is my team now: What should I change about my team? Let me know down below!
  11. Filthy Casual

    Emolga

    Do you want mine?
  12. I've been playing through Insurgence for a bit, and I adore this game! To celebrate the new update, I thought I would create an ongoing list for the community! The objective is simple; we must share our secret bases with everyone in the community. As such, here is my information: Username: Crying Jordan Pokemon found: Misdreavus, Rotom, Lampent
  13. There's good news in this: there are Boldore and Rhydon nearby. If you can evolve one, setting up Trick Room should almost guarantee a win.
  14. This team carried me through most of the game. Despite the fact that my starter was constantly a HUGE disadvantage, he was the reason I pulled through a lot of the battles, including the fire gym. Here is my team:
  15. Your Lunatone actually does extremely well against the Electric gym, as Levitate can allow your soon to be Golem (if you found a Link Heart) to spam Earthquake, so I would recommend keeping that for a bit. However, you would probably be better off training the Alolan Muk you had the opportunity to get from Zetta.
  16. It's just a suggestion. You don't have to follow it. The team certainly looks like fun, though! I would also recommend getting a Kantonian Golem or a Lycanroc midday form. I like Golem more because of Sturdy and Stealth Rock, but Lycanroc hits hard.
  17. Is this your first time playing? If so, you may want to keep the difficulty to normal. The game can get pretty frustrating at times (not difficult, but frustrating), and you may just want to focus on building a balanced team. Having said that, there is a Pokemon you may want to catch for the first gym that can be amazing for the whole game if you play your cards right: Simple Woobat. Calm Mind and Double Team can decimate teams if you can set them up.
  18. I would suggest Magnezone, but it looks like you already have a Metagross for a steel type. Perhaps try Ampharos? I don't know when Mega Evolution will arrive, but a Mega Ampharos would help you out tremendously, as having that Dragon typing would be extremely useful.
  19. I HATE SAMSON! He was the bane of my existence! However, there is a way you can win: Hawlucha. You can find one on Route 2 in the morning in the patches of grass. Acrobatics and Flying Press take advantage of the field, as well, so if you can train one up, it can decimate Samson. You may want to replace Zoroark for the fight, as it can't really take any hits. Still, though, it looks like a fun team!
  20. Yeah, Air Slash becomes part grass type in the rain. You're best off using Rock moves (mainly Lycanroc-Midday, with a Manectric for his water types).
  21. This is cheating to a huge degree, but Pokemon Insurgence will be coming out with its final update soon. That game is going to be long, and if it's anything like Zeta/Omicron, it's probably going to be amazing!
  22. What about the Victoria stereotype? That's the stereotype when a character says something like this to us: "Oh, what's that? You need to do something really important that could potentially save the lives of others? That's nice and all, but I don't think you can/should, so I'm just going to fight and try to stop you." In Victoria's case in particular, she then whines about you defeating her after the battle ends. There is a secret room in by El's prayer chamber at seventh street explaining a bit of Solaris's backstory. In it, this happens...
  23. You need the mining kit for the stones. It's under the grand staircase. In order to get back there (since you beat the game), you need to go to the staircase and talk to a cop blocking an entrance by Arclight's club. He will let you in, and then you use Rock Smash to access the mining kit.
