If you are using Blaziken to kill his other pokemon too (hopefully not), then you are training him in EV's other than the ones you want (Atk, Spe)... As Syle said, the most efficient and quick spot to EV train a sweeper is under Opal Bridge... those 2 shadows will always spawn a lvl 5 Woobat (1 Spe; 2 since you have pokerus). Since you don't have to battle all the other pokemon of that trainer in Grand Hall, and the Woobats are lvl 5, you can just autopilot the training while watching a video on the side of your screen and not worry about switching pokemon in the fight. With power items, you'll get +8 Atk and +2 Spe (or +10 Spe, once you get 252 in Atk and switch to Power Anklet). Also, to speed up the process, you can buy 10 Protein and 10 Carbos from the 5th floor at Obsidia Dept. Store (that's 100 of each stat). Buuuuut, if the trainer works better for you, then by all means, go for it! =)

7th Street is below Lapiz Ward, currently unavaliable to you due to lack of Fly.

Druddigon and Swoobat are gonna have a really hard time, coz they'll likely won't be able to outspeed Blake's pokemon, even with good EV/IV (maaaybe Swoobat), and even though Emolga is super fast, he won't be able to OHKO anything (same goes for Swoobat), so most likely they'll die pretty quickly. You might want to try getting rid of the snowy field with Heat Wave, Eruption, Flame Burst, Lava Plume, or Searing Shot. If you can't catch any fire pokemon that can learn any of those (don't remember if there's any avaliable post-Agate lockdown and pre-Fly), or if you haven't caught one before (Litwick -> Chandelure comes to mind), perhaps you could tutor Fire Pledge to Blaziken instead of Shadow Claw, which would get rid of the snow and remove the bonus dmg for Blizzard (you can always re-teach Shadow Claw with the TM, if needed). You can catch a Machoke in Route 2, too... evolve to Machamp if you have Link Stone avaliable (or trade and trade back, pretty straightforward), and he should be a nice addition to the fight (or a Mienfoo in Route 3, evolve to Mienshao... his base speed is almost twice higher than Machamp, and will likely outspeed most of Blake's pokemon).

I'd get rid of HM moves in the main team, specially Flash (not an HM though). Also, having 3 grass moves on Serperior is kinda pointless, as it lacks any kind of coverage, and limits who he's able to fight; even more, (and this is a really subjective opinion of mine) spreading focus on both Atk and SpAtk is non-efficient... I'd rather choose one of those two, give Serperior a good grass move of that stat, and also give him a nature that boosts Speed (or the chosen attacking stat) while reducing the other attacking stat; instead of Brave, which reduces his speed =\ Those are my 5 cents =)

Wow that's a lot of work! gj! Dunno how i feel about Dazzling Gleam in Sableye... I'd rather take further advantage of Prankster, and give him Will-O-Wisp instead, since he'd take too long to set up to hit hard enough with those EV spread (since there's no WoW TM in reborn yet, maybe Toxic or Confuse Ray) Thoughts?

There is a Sun Stone in the Obsidia Slums, but you need to get the "Dull Key" in order to access the area where the item is located.

Have you been asked to get him a Farfetch'd? If so, put him first on your team and talk to him. Also, check if you are carrying a Dome Fossil (if so, deposit in PC and try again).

Hey! So, I did the Team Aqua sidequest to get Carvanha/Sharpedo, and somehow managed to find a day with wind (weather is so broken right now) to get a Murkrow (doing a dark mono run atm). For some reason, Carvanha came with Destiny Bond (HELLO SOLARIS' GARCHOMP =D ), and Murkrow with Perish Song, both of which can only be learnt by breeding. This isn't the first time this happened to me... On my original playthrough, I got a Murkrow with no egg moves in his moveset; but after i started breeding, the offspring knew Brave Bird (the other parent didn't know the move either). Is something going on with egg moves, or is this intended behaviour for event pokemon? Has this happened to anyone else?

Pff, welcome to my world xD I've went up to July, changing the date one week at a time, and changing daytime/nighttime for each one too... can't get rid of the rain, no matter what i do =( Sometimes i'd get a thunderstorm instead of plain rain... sometimes it's windy while it rains... but i won't get a clear day no matter what i do.

From my experience, a decent IV and nature Meowth/Persian with Technician works out REALLY good for most of the early/mid game (STAB Fake Out and Swift, both of which get the Tech bonus, works like a charm specially in double fights). Right now i'm doing a dark mono run, and i'm in love with Stunky/Skuntank... his base stats aren't that bad, and his moveset is very versatile without the need of getting a specific TM or breeding egg moves (mine has Flamethrower, Acid Spray, Toxic, and Night Slash) About that ground type, i think that the only one avaliable for you up to that point would be the Onix event (not sure if this triggers before the 1st gym) Lastly, don't sweat it too much with the ranking, just play the game and figure out what works for you =)

Graveler/Golem did wonders for me in that fight; and i think i was able to get Mr. Mime before this fight too (i can't remember if North Obsidia pulse comes before Corey's fight)

Hey! I know that both pokemon are a reward for completing the sidequest for team Magma/Aqua, but I was wondering if it was possible to get both in one playthrough, or if choosing one means you won't get the other one (unless you trade). I should point out that i'm interested in getting both RIGHT NOW (as in pre-Shelly), and not after Adrienn. Is it possible? Thanks!

I was thinking of the level cap; thought that (if i were doing a flying mono) coz i'd get charizard at lvl 36, i wouldn't be able to use charmander until my lvl cap was at least 40, but it seems it isn't the case Thx for your input!

I was thinking about doing a monorun, since i've finished E16 twice from scratch, and a nuzlocke proved to be too much for me =P I've got a few questions about this: - Do you limit the pokemon on your team to the ones that are avaliable up to that point, or can you trade? Coz it'll be kinda weird to go face Julia with 4 poochyenas - I know you can use pokemon outside the monotype for HM's (kinda obvious); but can you use, for example, a slugma/magcargo to speed up breeding, even if you won't fight with them? Or a ditto to breed? - How about pokemon that aren't the chosen type, but will be after they evolve (pancham into pangoro)? Do you use them even if you won't get the chosen type until much later? Thanks!
