  1. Steelix's base Speed is abysmal (30 if i'm not mistaken). That plays a major role in why lots of underlvled mons can outspeed him.
  2. Is the Choice Scarf on Malamar working for you? I've never tried it, but on paper (at least for me) kinda defeats the whole purpose of self-setup with Superpower-Contrary, since it'd be pretty easy to force Malamar to switch out, wasting those +1 atk and def. Other than that, dunno how i feel about having 6 sweepers in the same team, 24 attaking moves. I mean, on their own they're solid movesets for each pokemon (looking at each of them on their own), but a whole team of glasscannons... =\
  3. You know you can lower your pokemons' level using Common Candies, right? As for the Ciel part, which of her pokemons are giving you trouble? What happens in your battles? Can you elaborate?
  4. I don't think there's an issue with Blaziken outspeeding the Steelix, but for the rest of the team to do it. IIRC your lvl cap at this fight is 55 with steelix being 20 lvls over that, so it's highly unlikely for Blaziken to OHKO him, and (not too sure about this) Steelix has Earthquake, which will annihilate Blaziken. So, either you should have another pokemon capable of outspeeding the lvl 75 Steelix, or you slow him down.
  5. What i meant wasn't just captured pokemon, but TRAINED pokemon (that's what "in rotation" means). Since you listed two electric types in your team, that tells me you are only training those 6 pokemon, otherwise there'd be another type in the team. Reborn aims for you to have more than 6 pokemon "in rotation", as opposed to official games where you pretty much wouldn't change the main team at all. So I recommend you (and not just for the Steelix battle) to train other pokemon up to a battling level, with types you don't have in rotation yet (probably should start with water, ground and dark).
  6. If you only have those 6 pokemon in team rotation, then you need to get more ASAP (specially since you have 2 electrics in there; which, btw, are useless vs Steelix). So, if you are REALLY cheap, you can Destiny Bond / Perish Song the Steelix as I did (the Carvanha i got from team Aqua had Destiny Bond as egg move). If not, you can get a Graveler/Golem with Sturdy and Bulldoze him on your 1st turn: not only it's SE, but it'll slow Steelix down enough so that he'll attack last vs all your other pokemon.
  7. Yep, that's right, but since you didn't specify at what point of the story you're at, i recommended that spot =\
  8. I think in Cirque du Soleil (can't recall the actual name of the place where you fight the Ditto-Arceus), on the grass of the bottom floor you can find psychic mons that yield SpAtk EVs.
  9. He's asking for Rejuvenation though, if i'm not mistaken (this topic is in that subforum). Edit: totally ninja'd to the rejuv thing =P
  10. Malamar with Contrary ability and Superpower is ridiculous, the amounts of pwnage it delivers is crazy. Hypnosis/Superpower/Psycho Cut/Night Slash, and sweep away! You can also get a Mime Jr. in North Obsidia for a Sunkern (Mr. Mime is decently fast and can set up barriers), but if you're going for Gardevoir, you might want to skip mime. I like Gallade a lot, too.
  11. OH wasn't expecting that, i always looked for the 5 of them =\ will take it into account for the next one! ty
  12. You might wanna switch that Tangela (for this battle at least) for either a Graveler, or a Meowstic... he's gonna have a really hard time there. Also, didn't know that Corey's field changed depending on which choices you made in the playthrough @sailboat, I always had the same field (cleared the game 4 times so far)... do you know which choices affect this?
  13. You've also got to take into accout their IV's and their (potential) movesets. But if you place aesthetics above an easier time in the game, then go for the shiny venomoth (assuming his IVs are worse than the Ariados).
  14. Yeah i know, but I've never seen a post by her stating that it doesn't work =( If there is, mb.
  15. Are you sure? Because for a long time i've seen people recommend using a fainted Compoundeyes pokemon on the 1st slot when someone asked for a farmable item (people who've been here waaay longer than I have). =\
  16. You can farm Heart Scales from Luvdiscs, and Dragon Scales (IIRC) from Horseas. Get a pokemon with Compoundeyes, and another one with Frisk, and you're good to go!

    Pokerus?!

Yeah... anyone who hasn't found pokerus in their game yet, just has to spend 5 min tops wondertrading, and 100% will get one pokemon with the virus. Pre-E16 (when online trading wasn't a thing), pokerus was pretty rare.

    Luxray

If you want a Luxray, you can get a Shinx back at Onix Ward (Game Arcade, exchange for coins).
  19. Bulbapedia is your page to go, it's very straightforward. If you have any doubts after reading it, we'd be happy to help you.
  20. I'm not sure Amulet Coin is avaliable right now... IIRC the only cash-boosting item should be Luck Incense =\ And yes, there's a PC, but: 1) You'll be stuck in Devon until you beat everyone in there. 2) After a while in Devon, going back to the PC/healer will be a pain in the butt after all the puzzles, so BE READY.
  21. If you have a female Growlithe, you need to breed her with any male pokemon in the same egg group (in Growlithe's case, it's Field). http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Field_(Egg_Group) If you have a male Growlithe, then you can only get a Growlithe egg by breeding it with a Ditto.
  22. Asking again? You asked for steel types, people answered where you can get steel types avaliable to you at that point in the game. I don't get the need of "asking again". As for the Mystery Egg, it's a sidequest from Jasper Ward. You get it by breeding a Growlithe Egg, and giving it to one of the policeman in the police station. In return, you'll get a Mystery Egg, which has a 1/18 chance of being a Drilbur. In the "Team Showcase" subforum, there's a post for monorunners which includes what pokemons you can get between gym badges, categorized by types; check it out.

    Vullaby

To what event are you reffering to? The mystery egg? If so, then yes, you have a 1/18 chance of getting a Vullaby from that egg.

    Gastly Event

That rock gets removed by dumping a strength-movable rock on top of it, which you have to access in a higher floor. To reach that floor, well, watch the guide Lightseeker linked you.
