Finished Stage 54 a bit ago. I'm not going to make a long explanation thing, since (let's be real) nobody really bothers reading the long ones (not that I blame them one bit). Instead, I'm going to post the 'all attacks' video along with a very brief summary of stage and then me giving props for the stage ending/story changes.
Stage 54, the
firstfight against the nuclear crow (Okuu) who swallowed a Sun god. So far, the first of the Touhou 11 stages that doesn't feature 2 bosses, though she more than makes up for it. The mooks this time were nothing special, aside from those accurate/dodge Hell crows that have just enough HP to be annoying.Nuclear Birb herself was an all-around killer boss, with a very annoying set of skills (first boss to have Prevail+), a more annoying Person Skill, challenging gimmicks for all 4 spell cards, and a near-rage quit inducing combo of Evasion, Accuracy) and durability (helped immensely by Prevail+, which increases both substantially as her HP drops each bar). Definitely pre-ultimate boss material:

SpoilerFor years since Touhou 11 came out, fanworks have been depicting just how badly Touhou 11's story could have gone. A not so bright being that suddenly has the power of Nuclear Fission doesn't spell good news for anyone (especially since the entire incident was started when her now power-drunk mind decided to conquer the surface). Thankfully after you beat her, she calms down enough when her friend and master shows up and we realize this version had somewhat nobler thoughts (compared to her canon self) and was a misguided attempt at helping her master.......once again caused by poor communication
wonder if this trend will still continue. Alls well that ends well..................until the familiar of the recently revealed xenophobic main antagonist comes crashing in with minons of it's ownSpoilerand try to rip the sun god out of Okuu
SpoilerSpoilerSpoilerThis goes about as well as can be expected.
SpoilerSpoilertalking about thoughts she read from main antagonist's familiar:
The Sun god takes control/goes berserk, blasts a hole through miles of Earth, and escapes to the surface with the familiars in hot pursuit. An out of control Nuclear powered being on the surface is a hell of a lot more of a threat than a slightly power-drunk being underground. Let's see how badly this altered plot might go in the final chapter of Fantasy Maiden Wars 3.
