    I can't tell if this was some publicity stunt for a mostly abandoned game or a completely honest attempt at implementing them.  Surely the people in charge didn't think their remaining playerbase would actually go for it, right?

      I'm assuming this was a joke on how EA did things too, and to show how EA pretty much did but in a more blunt fashion.
