..........and of course there is a mandatory Gurren Lagann reference in Fantasy Maiden Wars.  Well more like a straight up adaptation of the initial combining scene, just with three adorable fairies huddling up together instead of two mecha combining.   Even their reason for combining was similar (jealousy over another combination). 

And they form..........a discount version of SRX from the SRW OG series (with Getter Robo's dodging mechanic, now called Fairy Out).  Even their new theme has some of SRX's theme mixed in.   The Three Fairies of Light:

At least I'll get the Prismriver Sisters next game (the three getting attacked in video above).  They can become much more broken, since their three-person combination is based off of SRW Z's  Aquarion, which is a very broken unit if you build it correctly.

In related news, turns out this stage is a two-parter, so I still essentially have 4 more stages after this.
