    After god-knows how long, I finally encountered and caught a Shiny Mew in Insurgence!  I even got it in a Luxury ball like I wanted (though I wasted 16 in the process).  Almost got through all of Flip Flappers in the process.  And let it be said that I am never Shiny Hunting in a game that goes by canon shiny rates again.

      wow, that must have been tiring. I caught it in one friend ball, so instant max friendship :3

      If we had Cherish Balls, I probably would have used that kind, but oh well.

       

      It was beyond frustrating, but I think I got fairly lucky overall.  I'm pretty sure I didn't even do 1,000 resets, but I have no idea how many I actually did (less than 2,000, I know).
