  1. I'm pretty sure I had mined a few. Oh, well.
  2. You can mine for an Amplified Rock.
  3. @TharTV I found it as well (just messed with my clock to get daytime, and all sellers were there), but I still have no clue what the people in that topic are talking about, if the Pancakes aren't actually moved... Weird... Edit: Just checked and I have patch 10 installed as well. Also, I just accessed Route 3, so it isn't possible that the Pancakes appear only after you reach some point later in the game.
  4. @Swampellow You're right. I saw in a different topic that they were removed though. But I bought the Pancakes normally. Maybe I don't have the latest patch? This is the topic. So, which is true? They are removed and my game is outdated or something else?
  5. @Panther Well, you definitely don't need EV training to complete any Pokemon games, even Reborn/Rejuvenation. But I agree that to get the good moves for Alolan-Raichu you need to get it to mid 40s, then evolve it. But Nasty Plot/ Thunderbolt/ Psychic /Grass Knot (or Sweet Kiss/Charm/Fake Out/Encore) are quite a decent movepool. It's just a matter of strategy, find the chance to Encore someone, set up, and have fun sweeping. Like with every sweeper.
  6. @seki108 Yes, my point was that Alolan-Raichu is fragile as hell and that it is nothing but a fast special sweeper. However, I honestly think you exaggerate a bit. With a 110 base speed, and 31 Speed IV AND 160 EVs in Speed, it would get outsped by pretty much nothing, apart from the speedy beasts that some leaders might have in late game (perfect IV, nature and EVs). Also, a 95 base Sp. Attack is more than adequate for any pokemon game run. Competitive is a whole different thing, but even there, 95 base Sp. Attack is considered average. I'd say it is a solid mid game mon (definitely not an early game one, since you have to level Pikachu up till it gets Thunderbolt anyways, to mid 40s before actually evolving it, or it will be underwhelming). As for setting up Nasty Plot, you probably just tried it at the wrong timing. If you debuffed the opponents' Attack/Sp. Attack first, or took advantage of the turns when AI Potions up, you could easily get Nasty Plots and then sweep the universe with Psychic and Thunderbolt. And yes, Light Screen would've definitely helped with succeeding in that. @Zargerth, @Filthy Casual Not anymore. Apophyll Pancakes are only available somewhere in GDC now. Guess I'll just hack them in my game, since Alolan Raichu isn't nearly that overpowered to move it THAT late in game. Bad decision by Jan there. @Enigma Shot U Maybe, But I dislike Pikachu... Raichu and Pichu on the other hand are quite lovely (when it comes to my taste always). And I need that Psychic coverage for my custom run. @Snowy Amine ( MC Kapper) Exactly. Got many special sweepers available relatively early, I don't get why we can get normal Raichu even before Keta, but Alolan Raichu only after actually ending the current release. Is Psychic making it THAT much better?
  7. I don't see the point of making Alola-Raichu available so late in the game... It's not even that powerful! OK, it has Psychic, but it's still... a Raichu. A fragile fast Special sweeper. Nothing unlike the other 100 released mons that fit under the same category. Plus, all of us want to try Alolan Pokemon relatively early, if it's put literally in the end of currently released content, why bother waiting and not just get a normal Raichu? I think Apophyll Pancakes should've stayed where they were. They were post-Keta anyways, so a Psychic mon wouldn't make such a huge difference!
  8. Monotypes are viable in Reborn, and a great challenge. And I know guys that have actually already done Fire monotypes. Edit: If you mentioned it because of his fire monorun, in his signature, I apologize. Hadn't spotted that, LOL. Well, I've completed Reborn with nothing but Bugs, so Fire should be way easier!
  9. @Tomorrow The answer to Shade is Moxie Mightyena. It can sweep so easily. And it can Sucker Punch the faster threats.
  10. Jess

You will appreciate this GoT stuff!

  11. You're right about the font colour. I didn't like it either, why I wrote the dialog under the picture as well. Next time I will just fill the text bubble with black/white and write the text on it. I'll just have to be careful to not erase anything important from pic by filling bubble, but that's highly unlikely, as I place bubbles on areas that don't show any important details! Thanks for the feedback! And sorry for the long wait till the next update. I am quite busy with going to the beach daily and enjoying summer swimming, so I only had time to play a while, but not take screenshots and create photoshop frames! Maybe I will finish run eventually, like Poison mono and then have an outburst of updates xD
  12. And Shuckle Also, I like how we aren't using the Mew, because the Mew wants to protect us from drawing attention. We are also protecting Mew from being targetted and (possibly) stolen by Cultists! So, it differentiates us from our rivals, since we actually think in a smarter way instead of gain power easily by getting a Pixie Legendary in our squad from as early as level 25.
  13. Chosen by Mew in Pokemon Insurgence. It's like I ordered a fangame and Suzerain delivered it! :D

How can I not love this? :)

  14. @Pμrple I like how you follow the Reborn rules! A Gardevoir is always necessary, regardless of typing! Also, in my (couple-years old) save of Insurgence, I chose Delta Charmander too. I'm eagerly waiting to see all the badassness of the monstrosity that is called Mega Delta Charizard! This beast is amazing! Also, see, Xavier is Bug/Poison themed Gym leader! Similar to Orion, who was Sunny Day oriented, with Fire types and Chlorophyll Grass types!
  15. Orion is a sun-oriented Gym leader, not a Fire type. An NPC says specifically that, in Torren many Gym leaders don't have a specific type, but they have a specific theme for their team. Someone else might have a Rain team and have Swift Swim Beartic/Armaldo (e.g.). Good job all in all! Keep going
  16. Also, you'd have to be lucky enough to not get disobeyed and hit with th ridiculous 30% hit ratio. Rage for days.
  17. You can only have 1 Focus Sash till that time. And Garchomp has Rough Skin and Leftovers.
  18. Damn, I copied it from a previous post of mine, and I accidentally didn't copy Fairy... I'm sorry Lord Wolfox... Here's the proof that I'm not lying too...
  19. So, since many people that do monoruns or just play Reborn in general have asked about it and been struggling with this, there are 3 suggested methods to easily cheese Solaris and his Garchomp. These are the brilliant -mostly in Reborn- moves: Perish Song, Destiny Bond and Counter. So, after some searching, I made a list with the Pokemon that can legally learn at least one of these moves till the moment of that battle. This means that 1) the pokemon are accessible in-game before fighting Solaris at Pyrous and 2) the said move is learned either by level-up or by (chain)/breeding with another pokemon(s) that also are available normally before that fight and learn this move by level-up (and not relearning, since move relearner isn't available by that fight). Here's the list! Normal: Counter: Slaking (level up), Raticate (breed with Slaking), Chansey (breed with Breloom), Teddiursa (breed with Slaking), Zangoose (breed with Slaking) Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: Igglybuff (soft reset event till you get one with Perish Song) Fire: Counter: Charmander (chain breed with Slaking and Nidoran-M), Houndour (breed with Slaking), Torchik (breed with Slaking), Chimchar (breed with Sawk/Slaking) Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: None Fighting: Counter: (take your pick xD) Breloom (level-up), Medicham (level-up), Sawk (level-up), Makuhita (breed with Sawk), Mankey (breed with Slaking), Croagunk (breed with Sawk) Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: None Water: Counter: Wooper (breed with Slaking), Mudkip (chain breed with Slaking and Nidoran-M, or others, see Bulbapedia), Lotad (breed with Breloom) Destiny Bond: Carvanha (gifted by Aqua Gang after defeating Magma Gang, soft-reset to get a Destiny Bond one) Perish Song: Seel (Mystery egg Seel knows Perish Song), Marill (maybe Mystery Egg Marill too, not sure) Flying: Counter: None Destiny Bond: Vespiquen (by level-up), Drifloon (breed with Weezing) Perish Song: Murkrow (event Murkrow knows it I think) Grass: Counter: Breloom (level-up), Paras (breed with Breloom), Chikorita (breed with Breloom), Lotad (breed with Breloom), Cacnea (breed with Breloom/Sawk) Destiny Bond: Cacnea (level-up), Phantump (level-up), Pumpkaboo (breed with Yamask/Phantump) Perish Song: None Poison: Counter: Nidoran-M/F (breed with Slaking), Croagunk (breed with Sawk) Destiny Bond: Weezing (level-up), Gulpin (breed with Weezing/Yamask) Perish Song: None Electric: Counter: None Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: None (Why I dislike this type xD) Ground: Counter: Nidoking/Nidoqueen (breed with Slaking), Sandshrew (breed with Slaking), Rhyhorn (breed with Slaking), Wooper (breed with Slaking), Phanpy (breed with Slaking) Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: None Psychic: Counter: Medicham (level-up) Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: Jynx (level-up) Rock: Counter: Sudowoodo (level-up), Rhyhorn (breed with Slaking) Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: None Ice: Counter: None Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: Jynx (level-up), Dewgong (Mystery egg Seel has it) Bug: Counter: Paras (breed with Breloom) Destiny Bond: Vespiquen (level-up) Perish Song: Kricketune (level-up) Dragon: Counter: Axew (chain breed with Slaking and Nidoran-M (or others, see Bulbapedia)) Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: None Ghost: Counter: None Destiny Bond: Yamask (level-up), Phantump (level-up), Pumpkaboo (breed with Yamask/Phantump), Drifloon (breed with Weezing), Duskull (breed with Weezing/Yamask/Pumpkaboo), Shuppet (breed with Weezing/Yamask/Pumpkaboo) Perish Song: None Dark: Counter: Houndour (breed with Slaking), Zorua (breed with Slaking) Destiny Bond: Cacturne (level-up), Carvanha (gifted by Aqua Gang after defeating Magma Gang, soft-reset to get a Destiny Bond one) Perish Song: Murkrow (event Murkrow knows it I think) Steel: Counter: None Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: None Fairy: Counter: None Destiny Bond: None Perish Song: Igglybuff (soft reset event till you get one with Perish Song), Marill (maybe Mystery Egg Marill too, not sure) Happy destroying everyone!
  20. Zigzagoon, Slakoth and Skitty also learn Covet and are easily accessible. I don't have my Reborn save on this PC, so I can't trade you a Quick Claw. But you know what they say: "Give a starving man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will be fed for life."
  21. Use Covet with your Meowstic on wild Meowths next to Grand Hall. Eventually, you'll get your Quick Claw. Put a Compound Eyes fainted mon in first spot to double chance to find wild mons that hold items. Then get a Noibat with Frisk on second place to check whether the wild mons have items or not. Then, on third place, Meowstic with Covet. Best and fastest item-hunting technique.
