CHAPTER 6: Help Centre initiation and the Garbage Crew! After Jum-P's evolution, and his brave declaration about how he will have a bigger appetite now, the entirety of my 'mons broke free of their Pokeballs and started shouting for food, so I had to go feed them. This meant that I had to leave Ren alone for a while and go actually do stuff. First thing I did was to visit Chrisola Hotel and get TM for Work Up. This would probably get my Pokemon even more worked up, but I taught it to them regardless. Then, I went to the rooftop in search of a Cherubi. I saw a weird guy earlier trying to trade away his Buneary for a male Cherubi. So, when I found a wild Cherubi, I caught it straight away! Thing is, it was female... So, of course he didn't accept it... RIP my time and effort... And besides all that... *Jum-P gets out of his Pokeball* Jum-P, the Quilava: *Sigh*... "You really can't tell the difference between a male and a female Pokemon, right, 'Master Breeder'?" Gundham: "Hush, pest, I'm getting better, at least a female Cherubi will be kind enough to offer Cheri Berries to you all!" Cherubi: *Smiles presenting a bunch of Cheri Berries between her leaves* Gaidoku, the Nidoran: *CHOMP* Jum-P: "Oiiiiii, leave some for the others, too!" *Gaidoku and Jum-P enter a staring contest, fiercely staring into each other's eyes* OK guys, keep doing that. I'll be right back. I entered the hotel and went to the Casino. A girl wanted to get rid of her Coin Case and flushed it down the toilet before letting me tell her that I'd gladly take it. I explored the rest of the hotel and, as I went out, I saw Jum-P and Gaidoku hugged, munching on Cheri Berries together, apparently drunk... Gundham: "Oh, I didn't mention how Cheri Berries have on Pokemon the same effect as alcohol on humans in big quantities?" Gaidoku " HICCC... What do ya mean, boss... We're on total control... HICCCCC!" Jum-P: *Burrrrrrp..." *Using Ember on Gaidoku accidentally* I'll get you back in till you sober up! Calling me incompetent... They can't keep their senses for 5 minutes without me... *Sigh... With that, I explored some buildings of the City. Velvet rooms, Violet rooms, etc... I also checked the -quite uninteresting- library, since no books on the occult were in there to help me clean my mind and recharge my vicious dark energy batteries... However, I read some interesting stuff about Shadow Pokemon... A concept I'd like, but I really don't since it enslaves the trainer's pokemon, forcing them to follow the road of darkness against their will, rather than showing them the magnificence of darkness itself and letting your 'mons embrace both the light and dark inside them. But, anyways, I needed some cash to feed the rest of the squad... So, I hit the help centre... And took a job about saving a kidnapped Starly. So, after San-D, my Patrat, beat a Biker's Yungoos and Grubbin with her Skull Sceptre (and I barely stopped her from sacrificing them to the Lord of the Abyss), Karen, a woman emanating a strong magical aura, appeared. She sent the bikers somewhere, presumably to keep them as her servants, after sinking their boat with a summoned block of corals. Gundham (Thinking to himself): "Her powers surpass my current level... I'd better retreat... Her aura is quite unstable... Better retreat for now..." So, I did. And, after bringing Starly back to its trainer, I collected my reward! "Ah, helping feels as refreshing as ever!", I thought to myself. After that, I fed my team and went and caught a male Cherubi this time... Part 4: Even more exploring! So, since my 'mons had really enjoyed helping, I decided to help some more people! I took the job of finding the missing mother of a girl, who worked as a hairdresser. So, I had to do the detective... This wasn't really a job I had done before, but, during entering buildings, I found again the guy who wanted the male Cherubi and traded for his Buneary! So, I had a new team member! Bun, the Buneary! Bun, the Buneary (Male) Jolly/Klutz (Item: None) Shiny: No Splash Pound Foresight Endure Bun was jumping up and down happily, bouncing on my head, Jum-P's head, Kairi Hime's bunch of tree logs she keeps for casual munching and pulling on my demonic scarf, staring up with big eyes. I tossed it an Oran Berry and petted his head, asking his former owner... Gundham: "Why didn't you want to keep such a cheerful pesky demon any more? It is a happy blessing and curse for me to have him in my team!" *Bun drops the Oran Berry while trying to take a bite... Then steps on it, slips down and falls with his bum over it making a mess, before proceeding to wail in agony* Former owner (Pointing at Bun): "For that. Now take him before he splashes my new Cherubi too! Please, no more mess!" Gaidoku (*breaks free from his Pokeball*): "I never thought I'd say it, but... *Sigh...* You... you can have my Oran Berry..." Bun: "R... Really? Me? You are not mad at me?" Gaidoku: "Yeah, yeah, whatever, I've had too many Cheri Berries today and I've got a hangover, so skipping one meal won't hurt me... It's yours, just don't cry any more, I need sleep..." Gaidoku poofed back into his Pokeball before Bun even had the chance to thank him, leaving Bun happily hugging his Oran Berry, before munching on it hungrily (with some help from me in order to hold it steadily). Bun burps, then laughs, and smiles, before I bring him back in his ball. Gundham (staring at the previous owner): "Gotta be patient with them. They are mischievous, dangerous, flawed beasts. But humans are far more scary and dangerous. Treat Cherubi with respect. I sense the change inside you with my demonic eye. Farewell, initiated one." The guy stayed staring in awe. Behind me I heard the sound of a vase crashing. It was Cherubi's mischief. I turned, to see him not scolding Cherubi, but petting his new friend's leaf instead... "Heh... Humans are still beyond my level of understanding...", I chuckled to myself. Soon, I managed to find Rosa, the hairdresser. She was in a house at the Port, giving free haircuts secretly to a bunch of orphaned (I presumed) kids. She said to her daughter that she couldn't do it in public, because they are a branch of a company from Grand Dream City, and the mayor there is "very adamant on how things are run". I sense Rosa's kindness... Her daughter's relief for finding her mother again, and her anger for not being trusted by her mother... And I also sense a cloud of corruption on behalf of the Grand Dream City's mayor... And my intuition is never wrong... Hell hounds have barked. It won't be the last time I will be troubled by the "mayor of GDC"... But, I have no time for this now... I collected another reward. Part of it was a free haircut for one of my 'mons. I treated Bun to it. He was extremely happy! He was curious about how scissors work and Rosa gave him to hold one. He managed to somehow drop it. I had to catch it before it fell on San-D's head, with the sharp edge. San-D tried to bang Bun on his head, but I got in between. Her Skull Scepter fucking hurts. But my bump increases my mystical powers. I can see everything in colours now. And spinning. The demons are reaching out to me. Then, I fainted. We were all alive, and when I regained my senses everyone was laughing, so I take it everything went well. I also entered a room where a woman was screaming. Weird woman: "Hurah! Hrrraugh! Gurrraaaughhhh! Begone! Cowardice... Cowardice! You foul demons dare haunt me in my dreams? Where I am most vulnerable? Fight me in reality when we shall be on equal ground! Send your next vessel to face me! We shall fight to the death! (After seeing me standing in awe...) Ah! An opponent from hell I deem worthy! You dare enter my domain? This is an act that warrants no mercy!" (Gundham, thinking to himself): "Well, I'm a demon descendant, and it's flattering she thinks of me as a worthy opponent from Hell, but she's giving me the chills, so I will abort mission..." I tried to. And I tried to flee. But she pulled me out of the elevator! Apparently, she's Mercury, 4th member of the Culvier clan. And I am... dead. By her Kadabra's hand. Well, damn, I didn't sign for this! Anyways... I also took on another Help Request and gathered intel about the Hidden Library's possible locations. I do hope we will find some more occult-oriented books than stuff on how to EV train your Pokemon that we found in normal library... I also helped a gay couple reveal their feelings to each other. Which is fine, but I'm not a bloody matchmaker, stop underestimating my strengths! I also got my ass whooped by the Growlithe gang in Oceana Pier... Part 5: Help Centre initiation! After all this was over, I decided to go join Ren again at the sewers... Kept him waiting long enough! But he's strong, he can manage! Before joining him again, at an empty apartment I met another team member! Maga-Z, the Pachirisu! Maga-Z, the Pachirisu (Female) Impish/Pickup (Item: None) Shiny: No Bide Growl Charm Quick Attack She was extremely hyper and easily irritable. Every time I try to catch a Pokeball to send a Pokemon on, it will send a tiny amount of electricity out of its ball and makes my hand twitchy by static. Another lil pest. I can hear it giggling inside the Pokeball, every time is hits me with electricity. In the sewers I let Gaidoku gain all the experience he could, which meant that he ate a double portion of Oran Berries and he pounced on me to thank me. Meaning that I needed a double portion of Pecha Berries... After fixing some locked door issues, we met up with Venam and Melia. Melia is the girl that headbutted me right before I got Jum-P and daughter of Prof. Jenner. Venam was pulling a Gaidoku again, trying to get herself free Berries out of her boredom, but it wasn't working this time... Melia was fiddling with the power supply system, to pinpoint what was causing the power outage, hence preventing the trains to move from Gearen to Goldenwood Forest... The previous time she visited the sewers, Melia ran a little experiment. She left garbage bags in the filthy sewer water to see if they'll turn into Trubbish, as rumours have it! And the experiment was successful! Two Trubbishes and a shiny Garbodor appeared out of nowhere, proving the fact that Melia attracts shiny Pokemon! So, Ren and I have to defeat the Garbage Crew! The battle starts at 13:30 of the following video! VS GARBAGE CREW My (one-man) team that handled this dangerous battle was: Gaidoku, the Nidoran (Male) Adamant/Poison Point (Item: None) Shiny: No Poison Sting Peck Double Kick Focus Energy Ren and I handled it easily! Gaidoku did all the work from my team, since a Focus Energy gave him A LOT of critical hits with Peck! After the battle, Gaidoku evolved into a beautiful Nidorino! So, now we had a much stronger member! Gaidoku, the Nidorino (Male) Adamant/Poison Point (Item: None) Shiny: No Poison Sting Peck Double Kick Focus Energy And he hugged me again, careful not to pinch me with his stronger horns again! He did poison me again though, so after the battle he enjoyed an Oran and I enjoyed a Pecha berry... Part 6: Melia's got Shiny Charm! So, the whole power issue originated from Garbage Crew members that were chewing on cables! Melia calls some electrologists to fix the issue and invites me to accompany her in Goldenwood Forest! My reaction? "Eh... Well... Sure, I don't think I could offer much to your trip, but I don't have things to do so I'll tag along..." Sand-D, the Patrat escaped from her Pokeball, with her Skull Scepter glowing pink... Apparently that thing can sense emotions by turning the aura that surrounds it into the respective colour! How not convenient to me, San-D! "Boss is going full-shy-blushing mode, we're gonna lose him to a girl! Halp everyone!!!" she shouted, as Ren and Venam departed after Melia. Then they all broke free. And pounced on me. "Pesky devils..." I laughed to myself while they all bit my body and snuggled in my scarf playfully... "Let's get on our way! Who wants some fresh air? We can hit the Gearen Park! Got a free day to spend till we leave to Goldenwood Forest!" We walked to there. And played and rested! Till the next chapter, enjoy everyone!

I agree that it's his decision making, but it is quite poor in my opinion. Deciding that you don't like a Pokemon because of what other people think/say about this. Genwunners means Gen I hardcore fans that consider everything that isn't Gen I to be inferior (mostly moving via nostalgia). That's actually legit. I love its design, but it's subjective.

So, you dislike Bulbasaur cause of Genwunners? That's not a legit reason imo. You also dislike Mudkip cause of a meme? That also doesn't sound like a real reason. I think that the only legit reasons to dislike a 'mon have to do with typing/design and/or playstyle/competitive viability...

I like Cyndaquil. I like almost all starters though, why I don't vote for a specific one. So, don't take for granted that I'll heal it again.

I'd literally love to see the Pokemon anime following Gary's story. Or Paul's. I literally don't see why an anime HAS to follow the same character. It's called "Pokemon", not "Ash Ketchum". Hell, Yu-Gi-Oh pulled that with the anime named after Yu-Gi, so it was much harder to cut the cord between the anime and Yu-Gi. @_Dog That being said, I too wanted Ash to win vs Alain. I too find the introduction of legendary pokemon trainer Tobias utterly ridiculous. I actually stopped watching Pokemon there. When I saw Darkrai and Latios. Welp, GG, I'm off. But, cause I'm a masochist, I watched some more after that. And saw Iris, that annyying know-all bitch calling Ash a "little kid" On the daily. While she can't get her freaking Axew to be useful. Yes Iris, he is the kid. Biggest disappointment though was that Ash wasted his chance to catch a Deerling. By not weakening it. After 5-6 fucking seasons of catching 'mons. He wasted my chance to see Deerling and Sawsbuck, my favourite 'mons daily, on every episode. Because, of course, he HAD TO have YET ANOTHER grass starter, so no room for Sawsbuck. I'm never forgiving this to the anime creators.
