  1. Sorry, all-natural stuff here, no metal. Lugruf?
  2. Darius was surprised at this sudden change of heart, but was not going to waste it. "Well, for starters, who is this "Rico" person?"
  3. "So, even though you are no longer part of the guild, you can't say anything about it? Why is that? Do you still hold some ties with it?" Darius sighed out. He didn't want to push Belros too much, but he needed to find out as much information as he could in case they had another run-in with the thieves. "I presume that they don't exactly take resignations, hence the bounty on you..."
  4. The elder spirits whispered to Darius that Belros was hiding something, to which he simply rolled his eyes; he did not need to be told that, he figured that much out himself. He leered at the spy and spoke up again. "The fact that he said something about a bounty on your head tells me that there is something more to this story, on top of other details, for instance, what kind of guild are you talking about in the first place, though I have a feeling I already know. Also, I don't know if you noticed, but I kind of got embedded with knives as well. I'm not going to doubt your position with the guild now, at least for the moment, but I am going to ask that you explain everything so your past doesn't end up coming back to haunt us, or at least if it does, for us to be prepared for it."
  5. As Darius rested on the grass, he remembered something that needed to be addressed: Belros' association with the leader of the bandits they just dispatched. He stood up, groaning out a little bit. "Hey, Helena. I'm going to go ask Belros about what in the Goddess' name is his association with these bandits..." he spoke out before heading over to the spy. "Well, now that we are out of danger, you better start talking. Who was that guy that that ordered everyone around and nearly killed you?" the shaman demanded an answer.
  6. Well, I've been throwing this idea of restarting with an Ice Mono for a while now. Depending on how well (or, rather, badly) I perform this week, I might just go through with it. That said, I'm debating as to what the team might look like. This is kind of my first draft of the team. Of course, this is only a rough draft, so anything might change. The only non-negotiable is Glaceon's place on the team. I don't care if it might be considered the "Weak link", her place on the team is non-negotiable. Aside from that, what could/should I change?
  7. Most likely, yeah. I remember back when it was Kristoph Gavin, among others. Bibs?
  8. How many avatars do you have, bibs? Waiting on your answer, bibs.

No, this does not make me a hipster, in case you're wondering, for liking Glaceon.

  10. Forgive me, but you'll have to settle for this avatar instead. Lugruf?
  11. Alas, but not in this particular case. Bibs?
  12. Darius pondered on Helena's words for a moment. Just how many people ended up getting stuck for extended periods of time because of those thugs...and then there is the matter of them continuing to Kabumu. The shaman sat down on the grass next to Helena and started to ponder what would be their next course of action. First things first, though, he decided to try and calm the mage down. "I'm sure there will be a way to get back soon. Maybe there will be a boat to a more populous island coming in soon and we could use that to reach a busier port? I might need to check up with the captain a little later to find out..." the shaman sighed.
  13. "Judging by your reaction while talking to our captain, I'm guessing you found out something less then pleasant..." Darius spoke out after meeting up with Helena again, around halfway between where they were talking before and where Helena spoke to Madante.
  14. Well, so far I've done one Monotype run, one of Ice. Early-game it's quite tough, especially the Apophyll arc (Besically everything from shade to Aya), but after that it really is not that difficult, even if people will probably try to claim otherwise. Overall, it was fun using my favorite type.
  15. "Occasionally, yes, they do. Most of the time they merely make benign comments or actions, ones I can ignore. Occasionally, though, they approach me with something more. An inquiry, a curiosity...or sometimes warnings. Whether it is a warning of an approaching threat, or then warning me of what will happen to me if I'm not on my guard at all times..." Darius sighed out. "As for what these demonstrations are...I think they're trying to make me delve even deeper into their secrets, to accept them more readily into my body and mind. If that happens, though, I would become more vulnerable to be completely overwhelmed and possessed by them. I absolutely cannot let that happen..." Darius spoke out. He has been told of what happens to those practitioners of dark magic who fail to keep the spirits at bay. Losing all sense of themselves, becoming mere husks, shells of men, existing, but not living...
  16. "..." Darius' face went a little grim. This was the question he was perhaps most afraid of. Mainly because he does not know what, exactly, the deal is. But he decided to try and answer to the best of his ability. "...to be perfectly honest, I don't know myself, exactly, what the deal was. All I knew is that the elder spirits have almost...taken control of me. I could struggle, but I did not know what that would have led to, whether for them to have overwhelmed me or just to have left me alone...I don't know. But...I could feel some of their thoughts...what that was, it was almost like a demonstration. I don't know what the purpose of it was, but I could feel that they wanted to show me something. The scariest part is that this is the second time it happened since we were shipwrecked on this island..." the Shaman tried to explain to the best of his ability.
  17. Seeing that the battle had ended, Darius put away his tome and walked over to Helena. "I must say, that was a pretty impressive showing, especially how you all but incinerated the leader in the forest. We do appreciate the help with the bandits, truly." he spoke out. He suspected she would have a number of questions to ask of him, questions that he might be willing to answer, depending on exactly what they were.
  18. After drinking the healing tonic, he felt his wounds close up, both external and inside of him. The poison, as well, was purged from his body. The shaman felt a feeling of relief overcome him. "Thank you, sir, for the tonic. I appreciate it." he thanked the man before turning around and observing what he could. From what he could see, there weren't many bandits left. At the very least, what seemed like Scion's second-in-command was down as well. He pondered on what to do next.
  19. I'd have to call my favorite video game ever as Sonic Adventure 1. Just so many amazing nostalgic memories of it, all the way back when I bought it (And Worms 3D, another game I fondly look back on) so many years ago...
  20. "Errgh...thanks for helping me out there..." Darius groaned out, clutching his wounds. He could feel the poison burning away at his veins. Not truly knowing how much it would ravage him from the inside, he turned towards the nearby building that had a sign in front of it that clearly said "Inn". "I'm...gonna see if there's anyone inside, maybe there's someone that could help take are of these injuries. If not, then I guess I'll have to use the vulnerary..." the shaman said to Helena before heading over towards the inn. Move to I5 and knock on the door.
