  1. I wish I were resting. But now I'm ready. Pedro?
  2. Specifically, it seems to be after defeating the episode's final Gym Leader, so you'll have to wait until the end of E17 for the next project.
  3. I have to disappoint you this time. Amine?
  4. I don't understand all this memery. Micky?
  5. That feeling when borked weather means you can't get what you might consider an important Pokémon for your run, at least not until much later...

    1. DemICE

      DemICE

if you get driven nuts trying to get rainy weather,  and wanna preserve your sanity,  catch 2 level 2 pokemon and send me the savefile,  i will hopefully turn them into  wingull and lotad.   after all it is fair since the weather is messed up xd

  6. "O...kay?" Darius spoke out, a look of utter confusion on his face as Cass and Idei start playing a tune. While he does find the beat a bit catchy, he is left wondering as to the point of this. The elder spirits surrounding him, meanwhile, just listen to the tune and not much else, also wondering as to the point of this. "Well, at least the music is good..." he thought to himself as he listened on.
  7. Heh, these runs are now just popping up all over the place, eh? Good luck with the Psychic Mono! Some battles will probably give you some trouble (Luna and Shelly most notably), but I'm sure you'll make it through no problem.
  8. Turns out LightningRod Goldeen is pretty good for Julia. Alright, I'll keep in mind to make absolutely sure I have a Sash ready for that. And yeah, after my Ice Mono, I shouldn't have too much trouble, simply because I already dealt with some of the worst matchups possible. I'm not playing it right now, but it is live, yeah. I basically play through an episode, taking screenshots, then will post an update here. As for the offers for Pokémon, I appreciate them, but I think I want to keep this run as clean as I can, so no using online features. At most I'll ask to have the eggs changed to Seel/Ducklell/Tentacool if needed.
  9. It seems like everybody's doing these now... Greetings, everyone. You might recognize me from my Ice Mono, overview posted here. Well, I finally decided to get started on my second Monotype run. However, instead of doing my second favorite type, being Dark, I went with my third favorite, Water, mostly because I saw a lot more Dark Mono's than Water Mono's and wanted to be more original. Also, unlike my Ice Mono, I discovered the F8 button, meaning I can take screenshots on the fly and, with that, keep you viewers up on an episode-by-episode basis. With that said... Part 1: A shocking introduction. So, after we got nearly exploded and got a visit from Julia, we went on ahead and got our starter. Now, obviously, this is a big choice and there are plenty of choices to go over. One in particular helps immensely against Julia. I did not go for it, though. Instead I went for my second favorite Water starter because I already have a run with Swampert. Anyway, the battles against Cain and Victoria go by easily and then it was off to search for Water-types to put into my team. It did not take long to (mostly) fill my team up. I did not get Surskit simply because that requires rainy weather and, considering weather of kind of glitched in E16...yeah. Anyway, as soon as I got my five Pokemon and cleared out all the other trainers, it was off to battle Fern. The battle was...anticlimactic, to say the least. Lumina used Attract on his Lotad and Snivy, the former being KO'd and the latter being halfway there. Afterwards, Otto and Goofball jumped in and took both it and his Budew down. The battle against Aster and Eclipse was nothing special either, even though their Elekid actually did a lot of damage to my team. After that, it was time. My first two attempts fell apart very quickly as I got worn down and broken. So, it was time for a bit of a training session, during which this happened. A bit of grinding later - most notably, for Goldeen to learn Water Pulse - it was time for the main event. With the first badge in hand, my aquatic adventure now truly takes off. The team as of the end of E1: I hope you enjoyed reading this.
  10. Hm. Well, here are a few I thought of, though these might be much harder to introduce. Welcome to the Team: Have a captured wild Pokémon defeat a Gym Leader's Mon without having been in more than three battles since it's capture (So, if you want this achievement, you have to capture a Pokémon, then have it defeat a Gym Leader's Mon before you fight three battles.) Natural Skill: Have a Pokémon with less than 20 total EV's defeat a Gym Leader's Pokémon. (Note that this is 20 points in EV's, not 20 points in stat gain from EV's). Monotypist: Have six Pokémon on your team that share a single type. Monotype Runner: Defeat a Gym Leader using a team of six Pokémon that share a single type. Elite Monotype Runner: Defeat a Gym Leader that has a typing advantage over you, using a team of six Pokémon that share a single type. Brutality: Have one of your Pokémon go from full health to fainting in one attack. Mysidian Explorer: Obtain Eevee. Never Lucky: In one battle, have your Pokémon get stopped by paralysis, hit themselves with confusion and miss an attack. Yeah, these are probably pretty bad.
  11. Why would I want an Ice Stone? I'm already evolved. Maybe Divergent can explain?
  12. I'll take it, if you're willing. Amine?
  13. "In theory, yes, though most people who choose to study elder magic pick it up for a similar reason why someone might pick up a sword or an anima tome: To be able to defend themselves, to be able to fight. There are some who pick it up out of a general curiosity, but to be able to fully understand it, you pretty much have to take the route of combat with it."
  14. Oh wow, did not expect so many people to want to see me here. I feel honored. Pedro?
  15. I just got home from University. Hycrox?
  16. Well, I admit I am icy... And no, not Hycrox. Pedro?
  17. "...well, it's more manipulation of the elder spirits that defines dark magic, so, with enough...coercion, I guess, one can convince them to do something more benign. However, from my studies and my own experience, what they want the most is for practitioners to delve deeper into their secrets and the way they seem to do so is with promises and demonstrations of power...which, the vast majority of the time, involve exactly that, killing or injuring others."
  18. "I was a little busy in a different part of town at the time, so I must have missed how it happened. Still, even if somewhat reluctantly, the fact that you stayed with us shows that you are willing to stay with us." Darius speaks, holding his hand on his abdomen. Even though he's done taking care of the wound and it's now hidden, the pain lingers, a sensation he knows all too well, even if not necessarily physical. "As for my magic, yeah, I guess it can be considered that, even if it only has one role. All types of magic have their place on the battlefield, though. In fact, I'd argue your invigorative ability might be even better, overall, than my ability to...well, kill anyone foolish enough to stand in the Royal Army's way."
