  1. Nope, but I can confirm myself as a Glaceon. Spine, are you around?
  2. *uses Hail* Sorry, this is the best I can do. Might want to take cover... Isa?
  3. But you're the heart and soul of this place, Micky! Spine?
  4. You're back! Yeah, I hope so too, Spine. Micky?
  5. Well, some of them. Edgar, for instance, explicitly said "I will not be holding back".
  6. Tch...today is going to be an unpleasant day, I can feel it.

Got some internal issues with an RP group that we're going to try and solve later today. I don't want it to fall apart, hence the meeting, but at the same time...I dunno...

Good luck and well wishes, from: a random passerby

  7. Yeah, to replace some of the old ones it seems... Got some tension with said old ones going on...I hope we can figure everything out today. Spine?
  8. "Belros! Tch...damn." Darius exclaimed upon seeing his teammate get brutally struck down by what seemed like the leader of the bandits. Before he could do anything, though, Helena was already working on his wounds. He looked on with curiosity as the mage did her thing, weaving a spell that seemed to intensify the effects of a vulnerary to allow for healing of even seemingly fatal wounds. "Impressive. That's definitely not something I would be able to do..." the shaman spoke out. "We are going to need to have a long talk, Belros, once this is done..." he sighed to the spy. He then went out, going around the wounded archer, briefly taking in his pained moans, as he set his sights on the thief behind him. There is no way he was going to even try to target the thief leader. With his skill and speed, Darius would just get struck down. Instead, he went for what seemed like a much weaker target. As he weaved his spell, he shouted out to Scion. "Who the hell are you and what kind of guild are you talking about?" Darius shouted. Move to K3 and try to one-shot Thief 3 (With Flux).
  9. Cryogonal's are rare. Sadly, you must have simply gotten unlucky. Honestly, you might be better off using a Walrein or a Froslass for both Terra and Ciel. If you need levitation, use an Air Balloon.
  10. No, though I can't deny I'm not at least a bit of a fan myself. Lugruf?
  11. I simply assumed that the X doors were basically "this area is still being made", basically an incomplete area. This is after they were removed, granted. Before that, I assumed much what most people probably did, that they were where the Legendaries would be. As for their real purpose...honestly, I don't know. This is merely speculation.
  12. Personally, I believe that the high difficulty is not really a problem because that's supposed to be the point of a league, to take on the best of each type and to see how well your team fares. I am the type that would rather see how far I can possibly push one team rather then "okay, I lost a few times, time to make some tweaks and restart". I admit I am not one for competitive play and prefer using Mons I like then those that are "top-tier". (Hence why my team has none of the uber-staples like Metagross, Garchomp or Aegislash, instead opting for Swampert and Mamoswine), which makes each victory I do achieve all the more special, knowing it can go up against the best of a certain type and it can come out victorious. I think people should realize that, hey, if you can't seem to defeat a certain leader, that's alright. There are always options for you. Sure, you might not reach the top position, but that's the key of a League: To get as far as you can, even if it's not the very top.
  13. Darius was clearly surprised to hear the enemy leader ordering their troops to focus on Belros. Clearly, something was up between them, even if he did not know what. First of all, though, he needed to find cover from the approaching bandits as they charged their position. Staying out in the open was not his idea of a fun time. He rushed into the woods next to him and proceeded to use a vulnerary to help heal the aggravation he was feeling from his knife wound. Then his eyes turned to the spy. "Do you know these guys? What the hell did you do to provoke them like so that their leader is now ordering them to focus you down?" the shaman shouts at him, demanding answers. Move to N2 and use Vulnerary.
  14. Glaceon, pure and simple. In fact, you can extend this to the entire Eevee line, but with a favoritism to Glaceon.
  15. The elder spirits, seeing another opportunity to show off, once again took over for Darius, with the tome levitating and the chanting increasing. The shaman, however, was aware of what happened and starts to break the chant, or at least force it into something more benign. What the spirits offered him the first time did not appeal to him, in fact it worried him. Thus, they decided to demonstrate something different. Tendrils of dark energy started to coalesce between the shaman and the mage, a few meters above the ground, forming an ever-growing sphere of dark energies. The shaman, now once again levitating off the ground, could do nothing but watch and be temporarily possessed by the spirits as his chanting intensified. Eventually the sphere was lobbed at the poor anima mage, which fully engulfed him before dissipating into nothingness. He knows not what happened inside, but once it dissipated, the mages body lay dead on the ground, seemingly drained of it's essence, withered and shrunk. The shaman and his tome returned to normal after this demonstration of what he could receive if he delved deeper into the dark magics and further formed pacts with the elder spirits. Like before, however, his reaction is more of worry, worry that they are tempting him with such displays of power, as he cannot help but feel they have an ulterior motive behind these shows of might...
  16. "Hm. Pretty impressive spellwork, Helena." Darius spoke out, impressed by the mage's spellweaving. He couldn't help but feel a little jealous of her speed. He figured it was going to be a case of "Speed vs Power". As he pondered on it, though, Belros suddenly rushed past the both of them. He looked and saw that he rushed towards a random chest that someone had left on the ground and facepalmed. "...really? We're in the middle of a battle and your first priority is to go open some chests?" the shaman muttered to himself as he stepped forward to engage the nearby mage in combat. Move to L2 and attack Mage 5.
  17. "Helena, hm? Alright. I appreciate you wanting to help. Now, let's turn our attention to these brigands, show them the error of their ways." Darius spoke out, a light smirk on his face as he turned in the direction of the ship, waiting in the distance, and the myriad of rogues between him and his allies, and it.
  18. "Darius Dimanet. I'm part of the Royal Guard that was originally sent to a different location, but, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we kind of ended up shipwrecked on this island. We're trying to charter a boat so we could continue to our original destination of Kabumu. And yes, the folks behind me are the Royal Guards I'm with, as well as some...other individuals, I guess, that joined us. What about you? What's your name?" The shaman answered the mage's inquiry before asking his own.
  19. Darius looked upon the port and saw it swarming with bandits, brigands and thieves. It was clear this was an organized attack on the newly docked ship. "Hm. There's more of them then I expected..." he spoke out. It was clear the port city was about to become a battlefield. Suddenly, his attention was turned to a familiar voice. He turned and saw the woman he spoke to earlier that day in the magic store. He wasted no time running over to her, believing her to be trying to get into harm's way. "Huh? What are you doing here? You should get away, as this place is about to become very, very dangerous." he said to the mage. Move to M1 and speak to the mage.
  20. Darius looked around himself and noticed that, on top of the previous group, a few more folks joined in. He noticed the fiasco going on with the red-haired street musician, but decided to ignore it as he listened to Cadence's explanation of what they needed to do. After she was done, the shaman saw little reason to delay and simply started walking towards the east, towards the docks, getting ready for combat in case it came to it.
  21. Upon exiting the magic store, Darius saw no reason to delay and made his way over to the fountain where they agreed to reconvene. Upon approaching the fountain, he sees that Belros and Cadence are already waiting. "Hey. Have you guys heard about the ship schedules having been messed up somehow? I heard that, apparently, they are completely different then what they should be." the Shaman spoke to the two waiting individuals.
  22. "Well, dark magic requires a connection with the elder spirits, that much is true. However, it's more of a...pact, maybe that's the correct word. They follow the command of the mage, or, as we're called, shamans, and in exchange, they get a chance to observe the world, learn from it. However, there is a danger...if you can't control them, they can assault you and pretty much devour your mind, leaving you as little more then a husk of a man, existing, but not really living. As for how I invoke these spells, I simply channel them through a tome, and then the spirits strike at my command. I hope that is a satisfactory answer." Darius explained.
