  1. Chapter 14: Mountains and Computers that was a freaking pain to make So, after defeating Charlotte, we got the right to use Dive out of battle. Which means, you guessed it, time for more Pokemon hunting that I might use but probably not. Once that streak was taken care of, it was time to deal with the giant wall of Ice. The one that knows Freeze-Dry. Yeah... I legit was 1-2 attacks away from losing this battle because Freeze-Dry spam just tore straight through my team. Once that was taken care of, it was off to Ametrine. After saying "Yes" to Blake for the first time ever, it was off to the Ametrine Assault and, while I lost out on an epic final battle vs Aster, I don't mind because screw fighting his Magmortar and Electivire *again*. So instead I got to deal with Blake right off the bat. That taken care of, it was time to confront Terra who...fled into the computer...sure, why not. Anyway, after a fairly lengthy chase, we got confronted by a rather nasty opponent. Not gonna lie, this bastard swept me twice before I got really lucky. Namely, Slug Lord managed to get the Accuracy Drop on Mewtwo, then, against Stingray, it missed three consecutive Psystrikes, giving me the opening needed to strike it down. And with that, only the Qu33n o' b00ty was left. And the Special team that had to deal with this field:
  2. Well, guess I'm on a bit of a roll. Chapter 13: A trip through the mountains Well then. After we got to witness Titania and Amaria do their thing, we were able to use Surf to teach our Mons...well, Surf. Thus, our team's power level went up a fair bit. Anyway, after surfing our way up the mountain, we found our way to Ametrine blocked off. We decided the best thing to do is to seek help from Calcenon. Anyway, en route there, we got an evolution! I'll be honest, I prefer Walrein even though I have to say Lapras is better because of superior natural movepool. Anyway, Aya and us fight through a bunch of Meteor's before we encounter the main obstacle between us and Calcenon: Aster and Eclipse. After that, more plot happened and one thing was needed: Leveling up and evolving Neptune. So that's what I did. My favorite Dragon-type :3 Anyway, it was time for Charlotte. Sounds like it should pretty easy, right? Right? And as, per usual, the team used for Charlotte:
  3. A bright flash of light nearly blinded Darius, but he managed to shield his eyes at the last minute. The scream of agony, a sound he once was fascinated by, now chilled him as it permeated the air. Once he looked at the source of it, he noticed Cadence falling. It's pretty clear that she had been struck hard by, judging by the light and the suddenness, thunder magic. He then gets to witness Karik hoist the fallen teammate onto his back. The shaman glanced behind himself and noticed Emilee nearby. He knew what needed to be done. "I'll take her off of your hands, Karik. Just...let's be careful." he said before carefully taking Cadence into his arms, making damn sure not to touch her seared arm before laying her down on the ground on her back between himself and Emilee. "Emilee, I think Cadence might need some more healing right now..." he said to the sister. Indeed, a lot of healing might be needed. Take Cadence from Karik, carefully drop her on D8.
  4. To be honest, Samson was always the one that was like "Hard at first, but easy after a bit of grinding". Hell, I managed to break him on my first try during my Ice Mono. This is by far the most trouble I ever had with his team. And yes, I am aware I could have had Samurott set up Swords Dance. Two problems with that: 1) Nowhere I could really set up Swords Dance. 2) One Swords Dance is not enough to OHKO his Pokemon. And yes, Destiny Bond is a little unfair, but his Conkeldurr has literally infinite bulk otherwise. I felt like I have no choice.
  5. Either by having Samson switch Mienshao into an Air Slash or it not using Acrobatics.
  6. Alright, short one here because, really, there's not much to talk about. Chapter 12: Grinding Spree As I said I would, I grinded everyone I have in my box to level 50 as well as evolving all I could. Here are some of the evolutions that occured. Before crossing over to Agate, I did a little bit more searching for Water-types and picked up two more that I missed earlier. This is after I caught and evolved them because I forgot to take screenshots before I did so. After crossing into Agate, I found some more Water-types to bolster my ranks! And yes, I got a Dragon Scale from a different Horsea. All that taken care of, it's time for the only battle of note: Samson. And, as always, the team:
  7. It's more a pain than anything else, honestly. I've already grinded Lumina (Lumineon) to level 50. One down, 14 to go... And I originally used Tinypic, but then they stopped working, so since then I've started using Imgur.
  8. Two parts close together? Madness! Well, yeah, I'm kind of on a roll again and the chapter was pretty short, so yeah, why not. Chapter 11: Embrace the Darkness Yeah, after defeating Radomus, we got ambushed by El, but then Cain bailed us out. Before we headed off to save Luna, though, I did a bit of exploring and work and bolstered the Water-type ranks a fair bit, some of it happening in 7'th Street. After that, we raided the Subseven Sanctum and were told to make our way down to Iolia Valley to battle Luna. En route there, we were confronted by, and eventually challenged by, Bennett. After last time, though, I came prepared. And after that...yeah, only one major battle before Luna. And next part will be even shorter, as there are no major battles between Luna and Samson. The team that struck down Luna, a little underleveled: Fair warning, the next part is going to take a while to come out. Why is that? Because I am planning on leveling every single Water-type that I have collected up to this point up to level 50 and evolve them as much as I can. This is mainly so I don't have to spend an eternity catching up if, suddenly, I need to train someone up for a certain battle. I have over 300 levels to grind, so...yeah. This could take a while.
  9. Darius witnessed Clarisse get taken down by the scavenger and his face became one of worry and concern, moreso than before. He was considering striking the thug that struck her down himself, but his allies did the job for him. Thus, he put his tome away and, running up to the downed teammate, pulls out his vulnerary and applies the healing salve to her gravest wounds in an attempt to keep her alive. Move to D7, use Vulnerary on Clarisse.
  10. Well, I know this took a while, but I was busy with a few other runs I had incomplete, namely my Eeveelution-only run and my old second run. Now I was able to get back to this. Chapter 10: A Tale of Legends and Grassholes After Noel, we headed off towards the north in search of new adventures. And we found them in the Aventurine region. Alas, before we could experience them, we had to get past Fern. Again. And holy crap was he a nightmare. I actually had to leave and revamp my team a bit because his Roserade was literally sweeping all six of my Pokemon by itself. So I went hunting for new Pokemon and got myself this guy: I looked up it's natural moveset and I greatly approve of it. I also made sure to catch this guy from the fountain: Not because I'm planning on using it, but because I need it to evolve Stingray, my Mantyke. While grinding Stingray and Sharpshooter, the latter evolved as well. After fully leveling up, it was time for Fern again. Once that was taken care of, we started to make our way across Route 1, first to the Nature Center, then to Vanhanen. Inside, we met Radomus and Cain catches up to us and challenges us to decide who fights Radomus first. After the battle, G. Gardevoir proceeds to be kidnapped and we go confront El about it. Plot happens, we side with Radomus because he's less suspicious (Emphasis on "Less") and we have to fight a Ditto that transformed into Arceus. ... ... Or, you know, Destiny Bond. Once that was taken care of, it was time for Radomus himself. The team that took him on, doubling as the team at the end of the episode: And with that, it's time for the one Leader I have always struggled with, on all my runs. And with that, this part is finished. I don't know when the next part will go up, so stay tuned.
  11. You have definitely piqued my interest and I do look forward to it.
  12. We know that she has a Skarmory, an Aegislash and an Excadrill. Furthermore, her ace in the old Reborn League was Scizor, so there is no way she won't have that (Almost certainly Mega, because, you know, something that bulky should have zero weaknesses). Finally, Empoleon is likely to be a part of her team because it fits the Knightly theme and Water/Steel is just really good defensively. That leaves the 6'th. I'm leaning, personally, towards Escavalier. It has the bulk that is further supported by the field, it hits like a freight train and it fits the theme of her team. So yeah, my guess is towards Skarmory, Aegislash, Mega Scizor, Excadrill, Empoleon and Escavalier, not necessarily in that order.
  13. Vulpix actually learns Extrasensory at 31, because it uses ORAS leveling pools.
  14. Right, Northeast. Sorry, got the two directions mixed up.
  15. It's in Chrysolia Forest, around the northwest corner of it. There should be a small path there that leads to a small grove that has the Mossy Rock.
  16. Wow, it's seriously been a week since I last posted here? Welp. Zarc?
  17. Apparently using Jenkel's Purification machine when you have no Pokemon that can be purified counts as your "One Purification per Day". I used it by accident with a not-ready-to-be-purified Vanillite, it said "No", then when I returned to it with a Vanillite who's heart was ready to be opened, it said "The machine is recharging..."
  18. I don't know if this is truly a bug, but Encore seems to have Priority when it shouldn't. At the very least, it definitely goes before Baby-Doll Eyes. To test this, use Encore against Melia's Eevee during the battle against her in Goldenwood Grove. EDIT: Nevermind, I realized that it's not a bug if Melia used a different move, as Seel as was faster.
  19. Made another update to my Water Mono, for the two or so people still interested in it.

  20. Well...I was in the mood to push forward, so here we go. Chapter 9: Tanzan Assault After Serra, I went and gave Tortolla a break and brought out Lotus again. This was a good decision on my part, as will be seen. Anyway, first things first, I had gotten a Good Rod, there is a large body of water, there was only one thing to be done: Fishing! Got three new Water types, none of which I'm like to use. Anyway, we brought AnnaNostra her medicine and we were about to go straight into a battle with Noel when Saphira intervened, saving us from being humiliated. However, she did that by warning us of an incoming threat. A major one... After that battle and getting to witness Saphira literally Hyper Beam Connal through the wall, it was off to Tanzan Base. We quickly smashed our way through all defenses until we got teleported away to the depths of Tanzan Mountain. First was the giant Steelix who put up a fight, but Rain Dance + Razor Shell/Water Pulse was too much for it. Secondly was the PULSE-Abra It decided not to Hyper Beam. Instead, it Dark Pulsed. It helped, because Frosty bulked one of those, letting Jaws go to town on the poor Abra. Finally, it was time for Noel, proper. And, with that, it is time to move on to Route 1 where we will find many Pidgeys, Rattata's and-oh wait, wrong game. Welp. Anyway, team:
  21. Pretty sure you just need to interact with the door. You have her badge, that's enough.
