Does anyone here recognize that name?

Who is the worst Xeno protagonist ever?
It's not Shion, Shulk, Rex, or Fei. Pick someone else to rip on.

Typically I'm used to "the protagonist" meaning the main character when there is a clear, single mc. That only leaves one beyond the four you listed (and Elma is fine so fuck you if that's what you're insinuating). Psure most people mean the same thing, thus the higher amount of flak they get compared to the secondary and tertiary characters.

Shooting yourself in the head is cooler than ripping off a Mask.
Persona.

*School Shooting happens*
Parents: "It's all because the guy played too many violent video games!"
Bullying and Depression: "Do I mean nothing to you people?"

@Wolfox That's true. Sadly.

I made an RPGMaker game for a school project.
It's so shitty that I would never post it here, out of shame.
But it does its purpose, and I'm fine with that.

The Dungeons in Persona 3 are honestly not that fun to explore.
They are randomly generated. But each hallway is basically the same thing. Find some Items, kill some bad guys, go to next floor.
Even in Mystery Dungeon games, they at least come up with some ways to make each dungeon more interesting, like having different terrains and the fact that your position in the dungeon matters in battle.
In Persona 3, it's just a bunch of hallways. And all of the blocks are almost the exact same. No extra terrain. No puzzles. No nothing.
Do Persona 4 and 5 improve on the lackluster dungeon design in Persona 3?
I still love Persona 3, but this is one of its many faults.

Now. Ranking the Final Fantasy VII party members in terms of Likability
1. Cloud Strife (This was a given.)
2. Barret Wallace
3. Vincent Valentine
4. Cid Highwind
5. Aerith Gainsborough
6. Tifa Lockhart
7. Cait Sith
8. Yuffie Kisaragi
9. Red XIII (Putting this guy at last place really hurt my soul. That's how much I love this cast.)

1. Shinjiro Aragaki
2. Aigis
3. Akihiko Sanada
4. Junpei Iori
5. Ken Amada (I'm sorry, his placing here might be a bit controversial. But I don't hate him.)
6. Mitsuru Kirijo
7. Koromaru
8. Fuuka
9. Yukari Takeba (This is the only Character that I have a mixed opinion on.)

Dangonronpa is Phoenix Wright but slightly more... Japanese.
Persona is Shin Megami Tensei, but massively more... Weaboo.

In the Middle East, we don’t hunt Foxes, we hunt Jackals.
Instead of Foxhounds, we use royal harriers.

A lot of my Story Ideas are things that I see in terms of 2D animation, often Anime-esque.
The problem is, I don’t know a goddamn thing about drawing, let alone Animation.
Those Ideas that I have don’t really translate well to Writing a Novel. Especially when I want to write a fight scene.

Red Sakurai
Red Sakurai over Paradise
Red Sakurai
Red Sakurai over Paradise
Golden rays of the glorious tier list
Setting down such a blood red ranking
Now the low tiers slowly retreat
To the casuals, out of sight.
Arid winds blow across the tournaments
Given flight to the high tiers of prey
In the distance, the buffs come to transform
the metagame day by day
Only Sakurai's with us now
Someone overworked
Find the skill within ourselves
No need for a patch
When The Cinnie’s slow and Samus is hot
The Old Snake waits to see what rots
Oh how pretty
All the scenery
This is Leffen's sacrifice
When Little mac goes through
With a brisk attackK Rool's Down-throw
ripped from its set
With the nerfs set
We will not forget
the Red Sakurai over Paradise. -
So, I just finished case 5 of the original Ace Attorney.
In the end, I think Wright and Edgeworth were merely just playing the roles of defense and prosecution. The reality is that they were working towards the same goal, which is the truth of the SL-9 incident.
This case was something that wasn't in the original Game Boy version, so this was my first time playing it. I've gotta say, it's one of the best things in this franchise.

I gotta say, I liked all of the witnesses in this case and it was a great case 5 for a game. I wish more of the witnesses or Lana returned in future cases but oh well...
Plus seeing Lana towards the end of the trial gave me that same happy feeling when Adrian talks after Matt is found guilty in Justice For All

Keep Brie Larson far away from Metroid.
In fact, just don't make a Metroid Movie period. It isn't necessary.

@Youmu9 ...I know that we have to respect opinions and all that, but... that atrocity is the best Metroid game? Above the damn Prime games?
This is coming from a guy who doesn't hate Resident Evil 6 or Final Fantasy XIII.
I genuinely hope this is sarcasm.

Please consider supporting Raiden from Metal Gear’s inclusion in Smash Ultimate.
Even if you think he’s just another Generic Anime Swordsman.
Knowing Smash Bros fans, he’s probably gonna be lumped together with the Fire Emblem characters. Cloud and Shulk were lumped in with them, and even now, people have arguments for why the Persona 5 protagonist is a Fire Emblem character.

If you really think about it, Twelve-Year-Olds seeking revenge in anime isn't really that unusual.
In Persona 3, Ken's desire for revenge seems childish, only because he's surrounded by people much older than he is. He's only 12, but he also had these thoughts that seem too adult for a 12 year old.
Then I stop and consider that Sasuke Uchiha started seeking Revenge against Itachi when he was even younger than Ken. I think he was... 7 when he witness Itachi slaughter the entire Uchiha Clan? But It doesn't seem as unusual because the main characters of Naruto Part 1 are a bunch of 12 and 13 year olds.
Either way, witnessing the killing of one's family can't be good for one's health. In the case of these two, they were forced to grow up early.

So one of the Persona 3 Characters is a child name Ken... Who Dresses in Orange.
You know what this means.

To be honest, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue and Red Rescue Team missions weren't that fun. They were mostly just "Go to that floor and talk to that Pokemon, then come home", with the occasional escort Mission.
Then Explorers came into the picture and they added the option to go after Outlaws. Those Missions were actually fun. As a result, I could never go back to doing regular missions, because capturing criminals was just more fun in general.
-
I totally agree to this, having to go back to the same locations over and over again just to tell an Elekid it can go home gets tiring real quick. I actually just played through red rescue a few days ago and the only thing that kept me going was the story. I just bought explorers of darkness and I hope the missions are better like you said.

So, I'm playing the original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
This Second Case is awesome. I often like times when the Student is finishing what the teacher Started. There is a real sense of Destiny to this trial.
SpoilerIn this case, Mia was trying to investigate Redd White, but she was murdered. Now it's up to her student, Phoenix Wright himself, to finish what she started.
He was a menace to society. Redd White got what he deserved.
We already know how this case will end, but this remains one of my favorite cases in the entire series.
-
The remake includes case 5 which despite the crappy gimmicks with the DS features is an amazing case that really blew me away even though I figured out who the real murderer was right when I saw the guy.
Worst case is Don Tigre. That case was pure hell to finish due to the most obscure contradictions in it.
-
Truth be told, I never actually played case 5. I only had a Game Boy Advance back then, so that's the only version that I had. Even when I eventually got a Nintendo DS, I thought "I have the game on Game Boy Advance, so what's the point?" I didn't think the extra case was worth it.
Now I'm playing that case.
