"Lovely of you to consider it. Lovely to hear that you also don't know where we are. Whatever, it doesn't matter. When can we expect this briefing?" Harry had not let down his guard. His training had made him fairly certain in the man and woman's lack of ill intent, but the others seemed to be in the same situation as he, and were genuine threats. Speaking of which. There was a tiny teenager with a sword. "Calm down, girl! None of us know where we are. Not even these bloody bureaucrats who were waiting for us. It's probably not your Shadowlands or whatever, so you got that. Now keep your sword sheathed. I'm not threatening you, but any violence or threats you undertake are probably gonna be reciprocated by others, and you're not gonna win. Take a bit of your surroundings in, and make some informed decisions."

It was quite the shock to Harry to find him instantaneously in this strange situation. It wasn't a dream, as he knew that he didn't dream lucidly. As soon as this admittedly minor revelation occurred to him, Harry flung himself up against the wall. There had been no indication of violence, but he subscribed to the notion that it was better to be safe than sorry. He carefully let his eyes sweep the room, hand on the hilt of his tactical knife. When the woman spoke, Harry was both surprised and not so to understand what she said. Sounded like a business. A business behind schedule? She and the man putting together papers behind her demonstrated no aggression, as far as Harry could tell. This was pretty simple to discern. The easy movements, the lack of suspicious eye movements, the somewhat calm voice. Something was going on here, but there was no immediate danger. And now however, she was telling him and the odd others to converse. "You're gonna have to excuse me if I don't mingle yet. I don't know where the hell I am, or who these things are. It'll be all fun and games and team-building once I'm a bit more informed."

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]
Strider replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Breakfast, I'm guessing. Who made it though. . ." Shelly said this to cover her reaction to remembering Zeta's odd situation with regards to food. Something wasn't right, though hopefully it would reveal itself if she payed careful attention, and did some digging. "Mr. Mason? Do you want breakfast, then?" She wasn't sure who had made breakfast, but if whoever had didn't want to share, she was sure she could make something up herself. -

At the sudden sound of the simultaneous doorbell and alarms, Shelly pulled herself out of bed, and made her way at a leisurely pace down the stairs. If the people at the door were important, they'd have to blame the academy for automatically setting their alarm clocks so late. And of course, some of the blame would fall on the visitor for choosing this time of morning to come visit. Shelly arrived at the bottom of the stairs, and made her way over to the front door. If somebody has already opened it, Shelly will greet them (Kai), and peer out the door to see who was there. If there's no one there, Shelly would check through the peephole before unlocking and opening the door. -
"So be it, I suppose. Ritsu! Take care of Hikari. Solomon, Navin, Wyvis and Jade, focus everything you have on Cu, preferably in the form of physical attacks. If you don't have them, that's fine though." Edmond for his part glanced quickly at the android maid to assess whether she still needed assistance. Didn't seem like it. "Sachi and Hikari! I need you to attack now, instead of your usual jobs. This is vital! And Silef, you need to finish him of course. Edmond uses Weld on Cu. Does Basic damage (2d6+INT) and adds 1d4+Intx1.25 damage to the next attack to strike the target (Melee? Got damaged by Cu's spikes earlier, so I assume so. . .). Current stats: (Con4,Dex2,Int10,Res8,Str5,Syn1) Has 10% dodge chance. Edmond's attacks are autohit. RES is increased by 4 against arrows and bullets. ((OOC: Here's possibly the final turn Silef: Needs to nuke Cu using all the mana she has accrued of course. I would like her to delay until after Hikari's move but before Cu's if possible. Ritsu: Should use intervention to heal Hikari. Solomon: Nuke if it's off cooldown. If not, use whatever else will do the most damage. Jade: Figure out what can do the most damage (Fan the hammer?) and use it. Navin: Flurry of Explosions of course Hikari: You've got a melee attack, right? That's what we need right now. Wyvis: Meleeeeee! (As much as possible) Sachi: ^ Magnum: Hustle Play as a precaution in case the battle continues, or use a melee attack if you have one. Now we hope for luck! Also, pings on plan are good!!!!!!))

Edmond: "Alright, it looks like we've got a chance to win this! Silef, I need you to get ready to hit Cu with everything you have. Everyone else who can, give her support, or keep people alive." That was all Edmond really had to say. He rushed over to Ritsu to give her another patch up, hoping that everyone else could do their duties. In the midst of repairs, Edmond received the message from LOTUS. <"Copy that. I do wish you'd said something a bit sooner, as I've already begun to enact a plan that should culminate in this being's destruction. Turning aside from that path right now wouldn't be a good idea, and might result in casualties. I'll do my best to get the info though. . . I'm just not sure how. . ."> Edmond paused in his work for a moment, briefly pondering what, if anything, he could do. "CU CHULAINN! The witch with whom you allied yourself is dead! Your minions are gone, by your own hand. You yourself do not have much longer to live. Either we will defeat you, or our allies will, for there are many more of us. And where are your allies when you are threatened? Probably off hiding out in some safe location, taking the time to pillage, and kill easy targets. They don't care about you. You've been betrayed by them, and that is independent of whether you defeat us, or we defeat you. Tell us where they are, who they are, and what they're doing. If you're confident in your strength, you have nothing to lose. We'll be dead, and you can carry out your revenge on your own. And in the case that you should die, we will be able to strike hard against those who have abandoned you. What do you say to this?" Edmond uses Quick Tune-Up on Ritsu, healing for 1d4+INT. Current stats: (Con4,Dex2,Int10,Res8,Str5,Syn1) Has 10% dodge chance. Edmond's attacks are autohit. RES is increased by 4 against arrows and bullets. ((OOC: I have a grand plan. Silef: Needs to start charging up Eruption. Hikari: I need you to buff both Solomon and Silef's main attacking stats (INT and DEX respectively) with one action, and use the other to heal someone in need of it (one of the buff chain, someone in critical, or Silef) Solomon: Need you to take a DELAYED ACTION (wait until after Hikari moves) to buff Silef's DEX and RES (RES boost turns into DEX!) Wyvis: Needs to buff Silef. Navin: Probably RES break, since Cu isn't starting up a Gae Bulg Jade: If you have some way to heal, go for it, if not, just reduce Cu's init and stuff some more, or really if you've got something better in mind, we can do that. Sachi: Keep up the tower stance (if it needs a move to be kept up) Ritsu: Heal someone (coordinate with Hikari to make sure that we keep people alive) Magnum: Does Blitzkrieg take effect on the round it's used, or does it take effect starting when Magnum uses it? If the former, toss around extra turns to Hikari, if the latter, use it Ping me with opinions (people haven't been doing that lately)))

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

"Thanks, I suppose." Shelly accepted the key, and a brief impulse flew through her head to lock the door and run. It was quickly gone though, not even really a consideration, more of just a thought of something that she could do. . . Shelly entered the house, a little amazed at the size and almost ostentatious nature of the house. She noted the piece of paper saying "watch" before investigating the rest of the house. In a sort of unaimed address to those in the living room, Shelly said, "We should probably meet back up here in like ten minutes and see what's on the TV? I want to claim a room and get a feel for the layout real quick." She wandered off upstairs to choose her room, picking one close to the terrace on the right. She then placed down her A-comm on the bed, along with the little other stuff that she had on her. -

[Archer & Kevin] "You're definitely a valuable ally. Master, you said something about Shiori helping us to find the other servants? At least, you said this was our first step I think when I asked about doing that. So what type of powers. . ." Darien rethought his question. "How's that going to be done?" [Alexander/Ciri] "Yes, that's correct. In terms of offensive magic, I am lacking, to say the least. Thus, a fair bit of this may have to be done with non-magical weapons, if an enemy somehow makes it to the saferoom. In the doorway, I've basically created a sort of illusion that will reflect the image of the room along a north south axis, like a mirror. Thus if we are to their left, they will see us on the right. It will hopefully give use a split second longer to act, and a chance to hit their blind spot. If this happens, I'll probably want you to try your best to occupy the servant by swarming them from behind with your plant things. I have a few other things to set up, but this one is perhaps the most crucial." -

"Went through a wall or something? Maybe an illusion? Not teleported somewhere, cause you'd notice that, right? And there's probably people out there who can interfere with telepathy, but unlikely?" Sense stood in front of the wall. He didn't touch it, but he inspected it closely, trying to see whether there was anything odd about it. -
"Well that was close." Liliya panted as she came to a halt. It wasn't often that she had so many people. . . if they could be called that, gunning for her. She could still take another look, check to see where the next flurry of attacks would be, but that wouldn't help. After that burst of speed, she wouldn't really be able to do anything substantial. Liliya does nothing!! Deals 0 damage, with a 0% chance of stun, protects from 0% of incoming damage, and inflicts a status on no targetted enemies, dealing 0 damage for 0 rounds, and giving a 0% chance of extraneous effects.

Sense followed calmly in the middle of the group. He hadn't been doing it previously, but as soon as Merlin mentioned the possibility of splitting up, Sense began to closer attention to any doors they might pass. In a firefight, those would quite possibly become the only options for escape. So he kept an eye on them, looking for ones that might be marked, giving some idea of their quality as an escape route or hiding place. He tried not to let it distract him too much from the path ahead though, since he had been appointed Spotter. -

After the brief nothingness of the transport, and the immediate change of surroundings, Sense appeared on the teleporter in the Child Bank. He gave a wuick glance around the room: pods, Cheryn, some other older people, and the kids. "Merlin wanted us to locate you. Need help with something since you called? Or did you know we were looking for you? And who are these people?" ((Short post b/c I'm in a rush)) -

[IC] TFW Chapter 1: Sloth
Strider replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"In the hall you first came in through? Anyway, got it. Will be there soon." "Come on Exile. We need to find a map, then find a room labeled dry storage. From what it sounds like, it's probably down the hall Merlin and the others dirst came in." Sense stepped briskly down the hall till he came to an office. Inside there was a small computer, on which Sense quickly found a map of the facility. A little bit of zooming in, and the Dry Food room was apparent. "There's a teleporter in here actually." Sense went to the corner of the room, and stepped onto the platform, setting off to the Child Bank. ((OOC, I'll see what Emp posts before arriving)) -

Sense jumped at the man's voice, as he hadn't known that Feardorcha was following them. "Jeez! I don't know, I think he was trying to decrease the power of the explosion or something. He might be in the rubble somewhere around here. I don't think he'd go down from something like this. . . Anyway, I think cutting through is out of the question. I don't have that kind of power, and there's probably some sort of method of preventing breeches, since this is--was a scientific facility. Going around might work, but it'd take a while, and might be a problem if Cheryn isn't in that hallway. Finding a way across would probably be better since it might let Feardorcha do some searching. Circling around would be fine as a back-up plan, if we can't figure anything out." Sense stared down into the crater, trying to see if there might be a way down through the rubble, and then back up again, or basically how deep the crater was, and whether handholds were scarce. -
Edmond: "Again?" Edmond mumbled as the enemy readied himself to throw the. . ."Gae Bulg" he had called it? Edmond shuddered, and called out a set of orders. "Incoming! Silef! Keep yourself alive, along with Sachi and Magnum! Wyvis, try to put some pressure on the soldiers! Magnum, just keep doing what you're doing, it seems to be working." He didn't have anything else to contribute. They all had experienced Gae Bulg before, and should know what to do. Edmond uses Quick Tune-Up on Magnum, healing for 1d4+INT. Current stats: (Con4,Dex2,Int10,Res11,Str5,Syn1) Has 10% dodge chance. Edmond's attacks are autohit. RES is increased by 4 against arrows and bullets. Silef uses her healing pool on herself, and then uses Wall of Fire on self, Sachi, and Magnum, decreasing the damage they take by SYN, and dealing half that to the attacker. Current stats: (Con2,Res0,Dex20,Int0,Str2,Syn14). For every 3 damage done, 1 HP is added to heal pool. Gains 1 mana point per turn. Fails all ailment saves. Dex % chance to crit for 1.5x damage. ((OOC: Jade, Solomon, and Navin: Probably defend. Hikari: Heal Silef or yourself. (just so you know, Silef will heal herself too, but she might still need the healing more.) Wyvis: Attack Soldier D or E. (Need 19 damage to defeat one, I think, after Gae Bulg hits) Sachi: I think I want you to use Bear Your Burden on Silef. As soon as we've got some to spare, I'll throw a bunch of heals your way. (Also, the bleed status is outpaced by your regen) Ritsu: Heal yourself after Gae Bulg, or if you think you can spare it, heal Magnum or Sachi. Prey on the weak is also an option, but might draw aggro or something. Magnum: Extra turns for Hikari (silef is another option, but I think Hikari might be more important.) BTW, I've kind of rethought the idea of having Cu spam Gae Bulg. We could have Ritsu heal him to remove the crippled status, to make him stop (since there doesn't seem to be a big enough cooldown on the move for us to take advantage of it). Who knows, maybe he'll be a bit kinder to us. Give opinions people.))

[Archer & Kevin] "Ha! That ain't half bad! Two problems though. First of all, it wouldn't kill me. It would damn well hurt, but I wouldn't be dead, and after you slashed me, you'd probably be dead pretty quick. You could get lucky, if you could keep that speed up, but I think my drones could probably take you out, and if somebody else kills you, well then we don't have an ally. Second problem. I'm probably not the best Servant. Specially not in close range. Saber, Lancer, and Assassin will probably all be faster, and will be able to take a pummeling. So you being able to get in close enough to hurt me doesn't mean a thing." Darien, his drones now hovering stably in the corners of the room, glanced over at Kevin, waiting to see what thoughts he had on the subject. -

"Okay. . ." Sense shrugged. "I'd personally prefer you not being crazy? Why is it unfortunate? Either you're sane, pretending to be crazy, which means you'll be underestimated by enemies, though it might be annoying, or you're actually insane, which I feel is far worse." Sense led the way up the hall, opening doors carefully, before checking to see if the rooms contained their comrade. He didn't see anything, no runes, nor friends, just some offices, a gym, and a few other odd rooms. They were coming up on the crater in the middle of the building now. "What did you want to do with the runes? And. . . we need to figure out how to get across this. I can't teleport yet, and I'm not strong enough to lift myself telekinetically, I don't think. If you make a rope, and I can probably tie it off from a distance. . ." -

"What." Sense took a very small step back. He had been a little uncertain about his decisions on who should go where, but this boundless mania convinced him that Exile needed someone watching her. "Call me Sense. That's not my real name, but you didn't give me yours, so you can't expect that. I can do a bit of mental manipulation, and general telekinesis things. What was that about bear and beers? And Hula-hoops?" Sense would probably have to learn to ignore some of the stuff that the uncomfortably close person said if he was to retain his cognitive faculties. "Um, just a moment, Exile. Feardorcha?" That was an awkward name to say. "Bear's probably back near the center. Go get him once you're done with the splint and stuff." "Oh, useful." He said in response to the comms system that Forge handed out. So she could sense what was happening through the metal? Huh. "Well, let's go then." Sense then set off with Exile in an arbitrary direction which he hoped would lead to wherever Cheryn might be. "So. . . do you need to take some sort of medication?" -

As soon as Sense saw the flash of a knife, he was over next to the two, ready to try to keep things civil. "Exile! That's too many questions. We've still got time constraints and-- how would he even answer some of those? Anniversary? What--" Sense spluttered. "How--nevermind. For now one of us needs to go get Bear, and the other two need to find Cheryn. That's more important right now." Sense glared at Exile, and found time for a suspicious glance at Feardorcha. "I think you should come with me, Exile, and we'll go find Cheryn." He addressed Feardorcha. "It's not likely to happen, but if you need to disguise yourself, you can probably work better on your own. That make sense?" Sense asked this, and then tried to slowly push Exile's knife hand away from the other guy's throat. -

[Archer & Kevin] Darien sat slightly scrunched up on the couch, looking around the room. "Decent place you got here. Hmph, anyway, name's--" He paused. A servant's name was a precious thing to give out. But, Kevin seemed to want him to tell his powers, so his name was probably not that important anyway. He continued. "Darien Polk. Was a rigger for the 47th Street Angels back in life. Pretty good gang, though some of my. . . compatriots were utter scum. For fighting, let's see. I'm not gonna be much help in hand to hand. Archer class an all that." He paused, and looked down at himself. "Won't be terrible though, trolls kinda have a natural gift that way. Best though would be if you could get me some firearms. I've got one, H&K SMG, but the more the merrier, right?" He gave a slightly deranged grin. "As you can probably see, I've got these drones here. They're equipped with some pretty nice firepower, and they can self destruct. Preeetty fun to fly." He leaned back on the couch, then quickly forward with a small thud, as he felt it begin to tilt. He turned towards Kevin, curious whether he thought there was something else to explain. [Alexander/Ciri] "I see. I'm going to give it a rest for a minute or two. I wouldn't be surprised if some servant or master to be on the lookout in order to determing which creature was a familiar simply by how restless it was at this time of night, of by how frightened it acted in situations." Alexander kept up the link somewhat, watching the old-fashioned ship every so often, but also working on the trap he was setting up. "Ciri, is it possible to change the shape of the door to the saferoom? I want to make certain that intruders have their heads in a specific place." -

It all seemed to have happened so quickly. Sense was still a little numb, and it would take some time to process that Gypsy was really gone. In response to Bartek's statement, Sense mentally shook himself. "Right. . . there was--we were supposed to get people, right? We still doing that?" Would they cut their losses here? If the person who took Ansuz' body was still watching, they might still be in danger. -

"Bartek. Help me get Ice." Sense carefully held her under one shoulder so that Bartek could hold her on the other side. Bartek could probably lift the girl all on his own, and Sense would let him if he tried. The only reason Sense didn't just let Bartek do it himself was for speed, and for a method of carry that might be less harmful to Ice's leg. "We can't forget Feardorcha." To be entirely honest, Sense had almost forgotten him himself as he moved to get out of the room. -
Edmond: Edmond had braced himself for the impact, and while it had hurt, it seemed almost. . . underwhelming. He gave a short bark of a laugh. Is that all? No need to jynx it though. . . As he shook off the hit, Edmond called out to those around him. "Jade! Keep shooting Cu the same way you did before! He's limited to throwing the spear, something we can work with. Hikari, you're doing great, keep healing people! Everyone else, keep up some pressure on Cu and try to take down the soldiers!" With this, Edmond took off to take a few shots at Cu, to maybe hit him where Jade had already wounded him. Edmond uses Weld on Cu. Deals 2d6+10 damage, and gives 1d4+12 (INTx1.25). Bonds of Friendship heals for up to 26 HP. Current stats: (Con4,Dex2,Int10,Res11,Str5,Syn1) Has 10% dodge chance. Attacks are autohit. RES is increased by 4 against arrows and bullets. Silef uses Flametongue for SYNx1.25 (17) damage against Cu, Soldier A, B, and C. (Bonds of Friendship heals for up to 26 HP). Current stats: (Con2,Res0,Dex20,Int0,Str2,Syn14). For every 3 damage done, 1 HP is added to heal pool. Gains 1 mana point per turn. Fails all ailment saves. ((OOC: Okay. I think we're going to have Jade cripple Cu again. Gae Bulg is scary, but now we know how much damage it does, and I think we can take it. Plus, it's highly telegraphed and predictable, so I think it's better than letting Cu melee us? Solomon: Deal some damage to Soldier A. If he's killed, you should probably put a conditional to Soldier. . .C Navin: Have him use his flurry of explosions on Soldier B. This will either defeat him, or come close. Jade: Aim to Cripple Cu? Hikari: Heal some folks. Pretty much up to you, but I would recommend doing it for Ritsu. For the other turn, you could heal yourself by attacking Cu (I think bonds might heal better than your heal at least currently), or heal Solomon, Jade, or Navin. Wyvis: Hit Soldier B, or C if B is dead. Sachi: Keep putting bonds onto Cu. Those are pretty helpful. Ritsu: Either attack Cu to get bonds heal, or heal Sachi, since she'll probably draw a bit of aggro after putting bonds on and stuff. Magnum: Keep dishing out extra turns? Those are really helpful. AND, AS USUAL, PING ME WITH OPINIONS! DOOOO EEETTT!!
