  1. I'm at the point where I'm supposed to use this machine with 4 of the "Student Brains". Problem is there are only 3 NPC that give these, I already searched every room multiple times, including group talk, talked to every NPC I could find and no luck.
  2. Was just about to start V13 and it seems the keybinds changed quite a bit compared to V12, basically nothing from my JoyToKey profile works at it has in V12 and unlike V12 I can't check the controls. Can anybody please provide the new keybinds? Also it seems the location of the savegame folder has changed. I have my user profile with "Saved Games" on D: and accordingly all my pokemon saves were located there, too, but now it switched to C:. Any config file out there where I can change the path or do I have to live with it?
  3. Yeah let's start with that, see if it's enough to kickstart my memory
  4. So it's about 2 years since I last played Reju and I don't wanna start again cause I kinda have an emotional bond with my team, but I also can't really remember the current plot. Could someone please give me a summary of the most recent events?
  5. On my second playthrough and there is only one negative thing I have to say. My first playthrough was in classic mode (regular exp gain) and I found the grind for levels really hard as there are no trainer rematches and the wild pokes are pretty low level compared to the trainers so gaining levels takes a long time. On my current playthrough I then decided to use modern mode (every team member gains exp after battle) and now the game is too easy, just finished the 6th gym and my team was like 5 levels over the gym leader. Being able to switch modes would really help but afaik that's not possible, but some balancing would be really nice.
  6. So far I've always played the Fangames using JoyToKey for my Gamepad. Recently though I played Xenoverse and this game by defualt had gamepad support. I checked with the reborn-z.exe and when pressing F1 I got the same window to assign buttons. When I assigned a controller key like "up" it recognized me pushing the button, but ingame it still didn't do anything. Is this something that can be fixed by me or would the devs actively need to change something in the game for native gamepad support? JoyToKey usually works but sometimes I notice some slight lag that makes little QT events more difficult (Starlight Divide was a nightmare)
  7. Only baby-mons Ditto only Smeargle only Magikarp only Complete RNG run (deciding the team and each time you attack)
  8. Charjabug no longer evolves in the Cellia Power Plant but the factory in Cellia North. To get inside you have to pay a good amount of credits (13 I believe)
  9. Not without reverting back to a version with 6th gen mechanics cause that's the last one that had the attack as a TM.
  10. This is my current team: Pangoro - Parting Shot - Bullet Punch - Hammer Arm - Crunch Empoleon - Aqua Jet - Peck (haven't found another move yet) - HP Steel - Brine Mismagus - Perish Song - Psybeam - Mystical Fire - Shadow Ball Clefable - Cosmic Power - Stored Power - Charge Beam - Moonblast Flygon - Dragon Dance - Rock Slide - Dragon Claw - Earthquake Swalot - Toxic - Stockpile - Spit Up - Sludge Bomb I just got to Cellia so the next gym battle is the Fairy one. Before I got Clefable, Swalot was my overall wall with Stockpile and Toxic but I think Clefable outclasses it in both defensive and offensive capabilities so I was thinking of replacing it, but I'm not sure with what. In its current constellation the team has all the weaknesses of each other fully covered thanks to 2 Levitate users. I struggle with my water coverage but otherwise I think I got a good offensive coverage. The current team has good special bulk so one idea was to add some physical bulk. Weezing came to mind as with Levitate it only has 1 weakness but it doesn't get Will-O-Wisp nor Toxic or Toxic Spikes. Another plan I originally had for the run was Mega-Pidgeot, but first that's still quite a bit of story until I can get it and second I don't think it would fit with the current team.
  11. Does this occur when you use the Rage Powder on the Vileplume? Cause that's what happens to me EDIT: Tried it with both .exe and get the black screen EDIT2: Tried 5.0.5 and 5.1.0 with both .exe and different screen sizes, still black screen after the Vileplume cutscene
  12. With you current desired perma-members your team is weak to: Poison, Ground, Flying, Psychic And overall lacks resistances against: Normal, Poison, Psychic, Rock, Ghost and Fairy Note: Your weakness to Ground and Flying in this case means that you have more mons that are weak to it than resist it, so it's not that critical. The easiest fix for the unresisted types would be Steel as that would only leave Ghost unresisted, though from your box pictures I take that's currently not an option. Sandygast with its Ground/Ghost typing would take care of Normal, Rock and Poison so it would be a good addition. The rest is kinda meh tbh, maybe Sealeo, but that still leaves you weak to Ground, Flying, Psychic and Ghost with Psychic, Ghost and Fairy being unresisted, so I strongly recommend getting a Steel type What I really like to do when planning to expand/change my team is go to this site: http://jakerodelius.com/web/pokemon-calc/index.html While it doesn't take abilities like Levitate into account, it gives youa good enough overview on your Teams defensive capabilities
  13. Not that I'm that masochistic to even try but if you want a challenge: You are not allowed to use super effective moves in battle and always have to attack with the least effective move
  14. In my recent playthrough my hero has to be Silvally, and I'm not just saying that cause it's a shiny with almost perfect IVs. It being so flexible allowed me to always get the type I needed for every major battle without first having to train a new pokemon, I love it.
  15. Are you sure it was Sonic Boom? Cause that attack is meant to always do exactly 20 Damage. The damage of an attack that doesn't have a fixed value always has some variance, sometimes you get a low roll, sometimes a high roll. For further info I suggest reading this article on the damage calculation: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Damage
  16. You current team has the following weaknesses: Water, Fighting, Ground, Rock, 2xFairy Also it has unresisted types in: Normal, Fairy So given that you have a double Fairy weakness and nothing that resists it I'd say that's where you need some work. A Silvally-Steel as a replacement for Houndoom would reduce your overall weaknesses down to: Fighting, Ground and Fairy. Why Houndoom? You got the Dark Coverage with Greninja and Murkrow already. Fire is effective against Plant, Bug, Steel and Ice. Ice is covered by Silvally Steel and it can learn Flamge Charge for Bug and Plant. Steel is covered by Donphan
  17. The beauty of Silvally is that you can switch the Memories to your needs. I my current team I mainly use Groud because it turn Multi Attack into a pseudo EQ and I needed ground coverage but depending on what I face I just switch it.
  18. It totally depends on how you wanna use it. Type:Null itself can be played with Eviolite as a tank or you go Sylvally. Since Silvally has equal base stats it is very flexible to use. You can go physical, special or mixed. I personally went mixed with mine first but switched to pure physical cause the special attacks I got on it were already covered in my team. The one you got I would reset, the IVs on HP and SpDef are to low and if you gonna go the extra mile to soft reset for good IVs I would try to get at least 20+ on the defenses and 31 on the offense and init.
  19. A quite useful tool I found for teambuilding was this: http://jakerodelius.com/web/pokemon-calc/index.html Enter the types of your mons and you see where your teams weaknesses lie. Very helpful if you have an almost complete team or want to replace a member. But remember this tool only show your defensive capabilities and doesn't account immunity abilities like Levitate. Also ignore the rating, never really understood how it's generated.
  20. Can't remember if I already posted this on the discord, but if you look at the EV/IV screen the SpDef value is looking different from the others.
  21. Pelipper: You should definitely get Hurricane on it, 100% accuracy in rain is a no brainer. You don't need Roost since there are healing items Kingdra: Seems fine to me Lapras: You don't need recovery moves ingame so you can replace Rest. You could either use this slot for backup rain or Perish Song, a very helpful move for big Story bosses. Swampert: This should be your Mega as it turn into an excellent physical Sweeper in the rain, switch Dive with Waterfall, you can always temporarily switch it out when you need it With these 4 you have a lot of important roles covered. Pelipper and Lapras are good tanks and you got 2 good Sweepers that also cover for your electric weakness. Now lets talk coverage. With just these 4 your team has a lot of stuff left un-resisted, a lot of them being difficult gyms like Fairy, Flying and Psychic. Empoleon with its Water/Steel typing would help a lot here. You are free to either go into another Bulky set with Toxic, Stealth Rock etc or more offensive. With this you are left with Grass, Ghost and Dark being un-resisted and overall a triple Electric and Grass weakness. The last slot should be used for offensive coverage but I currently don't habe the time to calculate what types you are lacking.
  22. Afaik Reborn uses the current USUM TMs meaning there is no Hone Claws TM meaning Blaziken can't learn it.
  23. Always looking for a battle, just PM me on Discord @CaptainMetal
  24. I guess you're asking for ingame movesets. In that case there are some moves that are currently unavailable and some are not suited for when you have to play through longer segments without a pokecenter. I'm just gonna provide change suggestions to the previously posted sets. Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf currently not available so if you want to go choice go with specs Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Fire Blast you already got steel covered with Earth Power, I'd go Flash Cannon here for Fairy coverage - Draco Meteor - Dark Pulse - Earth Power Ninetales-Alola @ Light Clay Ability: Snow Warning EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Aurora Veil - Blizzard - Nasty Plot - Moonblast Eelektross @ Assault Vest Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA Quiet Nature - Volt Switch not available, go with Thunderbolt or Wild Charge - Giga Drain - Flash Cannon - Drain Punch Drapion @ Waterium Z Ability: Battle Armor EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Aqua Jet Can't learn Aqua Jet but Aqua Tail - Swords Dance Not available if you want a setup move you have to use Hone Claws - Poison Jab - Knock Off Empoleon @ Life Orb Ability: Torrent EVs: 64 HP / 252 SpA / 192 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Agility - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam not available and no real replacement. You could change the whole moveset here and go for utility with Defog, stealth Rock etc - Grass Knot Gastrodon @ Leftovers Ability: Sticky Hold EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def Relaxed Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Recover, not really needed ingame, instead you could go for Yawn here, it's very helpful if you need a round or 2 to heal up - Earth Power - Scald - Ice Beam not available, Toxic would be a good addition.
  25. Hawlucha sounds interesting. My current idea would have been a Sheer Force Feraligatr with Dragon Dance, Ice Punch and Liquidation. The last slot could be used for Superpower. As for Heavy Slam. Initially I preferred Iron Head for the consistent damage but I took another look at Heavy Slam and there are no pokes that I would use it against that are heavier than 1/3 of Mega-Aggrons weight, which would make Heavy Slam hit as hard as Iron Head. So I think I'm gonna switch to Heavy Slam
