Ayyy, week 5 already! Seems like it's been forever since we started. It's been a long road huh, and we're not even halfway. That's why we thought a rest would be pretty nice. So, without further ado: Next week, starting this Saturday and ending in the next one, will be an off week. As such, there won't be any Nations challenges or matches. So, everyone gets a break! And after that, challenges will restart, and we have some good ass stuff planned for these weeks. Not to mention the Grand FinaleTM , aka the Championship week. So, enjoy the rest of this week, then go snooze, and have fun! Except for DW, he's not allowed to have fun now.

PokeNations 3 Week 4: BLASTS FROM THE PAST Ah, nothing like a trip down memory lane... You know how there were other generations of pokemon before this one? Crazy, right? Well, this time we're playing some of them! Gens 4, 5, and 6, to be exact! Battles just like the days of old. Of course, not everyone will play in the same format, and for each matchup, there's one new generation! Rules (read em): The rules here will just be the standard rules and bans of the tiers being played. Smogon clauses are applied as well. But, gotta mention some things regarding past generations (and one particular ban, shhhh): In Generations 4 and 5, weather set by an ability (Drizzle, Snow Warning, etc.) is permanent, unless it's changed to another kind of weather In Generations 4 and 5, Defog does not remove hazards or screens, so better stick to Rapid Spin In Generations 4 and 5 (i'm tired now), Grass-types aren't immune to spore and powder moves, and Electric-types can be paralyzed In Generation 4, there's no team preview: you won't know your opponent's team at the start of the battle. Like in Random Battles Remember some moves don't exist in certain generations. Like Scald only exists since Gen 5, Sticky Web is only from Gen 6, etc. Z-moves aren't a thing in any of these generations No matter what the reborn server's builder says, the Baton Pass clause still applies: can't baton pass speed + another stat, and can't have more than one baton pass mon on a team Again, evasion strats (Snow Cloak, Brightpowder, Sand Veil, etc) are banned For this challenge, Breloom and Dugtrio are banned in Gen 4 OU Again, questions in kermit colour.
