d'aaaaaawwwwwww that is sooooo cute!!! :3

      Ironbound

I'm at a loss for words. And that's an impressive feat.

  2. tfw Shing and Viri are pseudo-sparring in the tfw thread.
  3. Considering there isn't one that describes "enhanced abilities at night in exchange for decreased abilities in the day", I'd like Water Absorb, Volt Absorb, or Flash Fire. Just wanted the whole left part since that is a good description of my current state
  4. In Gen7, Every Pokemon will have five mov eslots, but megas will lose the bottommost one upon mega evolving. Too bad Primal Reversion is different~

Adding [speculation] here, because it was requested. Speculation isn't quite accurate, though. More like random guessing and praying for it to happen or not happen.

    2. laggless01

      laggless01

Being able to learn five moves as an ability would be cool, tho.

    3. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

there are so many pokemon that need a 5th move slot

  5. Combee. If Wormadam was bad... well... yeah. Having only 12.5% of them actually be (debatably) usable is worse. And those are only usable because they evolve; the other 87.5%, to which are refer, are at the end of their evolutionary line. An astounding 7 moves to choose from, with none of them useful due to having literally no stats. Sweet Scent is the only notable move it gets, and only in-game. AKA, wishing the evolve-gender-lock out of the way
  6. In Gen7, there will be an option to play with or without the P/S split. In this case, Fairy will be Special.

Please Cobalt write [speculation] or something in your statuses because in every one you post there's someone who believes it's true

    3. Rot8er_ConeX

      Rot8er_ConeX

I wasn't believing it, per se. It does sound cool, and I wanted confirmation.

  7. In Gen7, "Terrain" abilities will be passively active in some areas (like field effects, but simpler, because Pokemon)

0% of these are in any way confirmed, rumours, or myths.

And it's not a wishlist; it's things that could happen, but prolly won't. I do NOT want some of these

  8. Ravenholts take first blood, with me versus Inno. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/reborn-nu-57536
  9. In Gen7, The pikacolnes will recieve notable stat buffs or movepool expansions that make them... idk, less forgettable?

eagle i really hope your joking

ash greninja sounds stup id enough

  10. In Gen7, the Elite Four will grow in level with each rematch, capping at 85-89. Let's be honest, 100 is asking a bit much of Pokemon.

    1. Anddew

      Anddew

At least they are improving I hate it when they stay at one level

  11. Step one: rig up a slow, tanky mon with access to a Field-Destroying Fire move, and a fast one with a similar move Step two: Force the field to get to stage 3 with either Step three: Burn it at the beginning of the turn by outspeeding, or the end by, well, outslowing. 'Aaaay, 1.5x BP Fire attacks. Well, 6.75, if you want to factor in Blaze/FF, STAB, and 2x weakness, with the FE boost. Bennet had better learn how to use Rain Dance, since Shelly... um... yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. As I recall, that didn't go over so well with RHC. Though since all of that is old news to everyone... Why not just use the field yourself? Nab something with Swarm/Chlorophyll/Overgrow, and use those moves against you opponent. Sap Sipper could stop one side, while Rattled (seriously, though) could at least provide a comeback for the other. idk what gets the latter, though, so it miiight not be viable. Still, the +1 speed could make the difference.
  12. In Gen7, once you fully complete the Pokedex, you will be able to see the numerical EV/IV idstribution on your Pokemon

    1. Cool Girl

      Cool Girl

Is that true or a rumor?

Look at my other statuses :P

  13. Best wishes from your weekly opponents. Hopefully, it'll be skill, as opposed to rng, that determines our battles! <insert generic overconfident we win w/e line here, I guess? idk>
  14. In Gen7, Thousand Arrows/Waves will be available at the MT for a large amount (45 or so, each) of evolutionary lines, because why would we ever get Imperfect Cell or Perfect Cell. Er. Zygarde 15% or 100%.

    1. Exalted

      Exalted

i doubt it thousand arrows gives one the best coverge in game easily able to replace EQ and break half the metagame without trouble if only zygarde gets it still its enough to bring it to OU form BL

    2. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

KO was as big shock to the metagame, imo.

  15. In Gen7, Pokemon with no Secondary/Hidden ability will gain one, with a few exceptions.

    2. BlueMoonIceCream

      BlueMoonIceCream

Pretty sure they're saying that any pokemon that currently don't have a hidden/secondary ability will gain one in gen 7

    3. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

What would you run on eelectross other then levitate

That ability is perfect because so many people don't know it has it

I've seen people continually use earthquake and get frustrated because they don't know why it isn't hitting

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

That was me forgetting to hit "Comment." Oops. The exceptions are Arceus, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Slaking, and Regigigas. The latter two would gain access to each-other's abilities, while the others would retain their current mono-ability state. Apologies on the 30-minute-late clarification.

Also, Thomas, these usually aren't serious predictions. The wording was on purpose, but, well.. ^

  16. Luxray and Mightyena co-carried me through Reborn, so I'm sticking with Luxray for this poll.
  17. In Gen7, Magnet Pull will additionally draw Steel-type moves like Storm Drain, but without immunity/etc.

    1. Cepheus

      Cepheus

for Physical moves that would actually made sense...

but the special one (Mirror Shot, Flash Cannon and Doom Desire) are actually based on Light, so I actually can't see how it would make sense for these...

    2. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

...And a magical shroud flinging away pebbles and spikes that are not even aimed at you (rather the ground) makes sense?

    3. Ironbound

      Ironbound

Anything that increases the power of the Lord Margenzone wins my approval.

  18. tfw your parents yell at you for doing "bad" in classes you paid for yourself, because your HS was full of slackers who stalled the class as much as possible, so your GPA was stupidly high from learning literally nothing. tfw they legitimately repeat the same things every time (almost word-for-word), and then ask "Why do you look annoyed?" tfw they would probably blame it on Reborn (if they knew of it), just because they think I'm "smart" from a dumb HS system. In all honesty, they'd rather cast me as a drug addict than accept me not being exactly as smart as they want me to be. Among other given "causes" they thought of.
  19. In Gen7, Flare Blitz/DE/etc will be replaced with one move that has its type be the primary type of the initiating Pokemon. Same for Quick Attack varients.

    2. Cepheus

      Cepheus

      yeah... that would be OP...

    3. Sapphire

      Sapphire

Cobalt-um...no. Considering you can get non-normal types running double-edge. Then you have things like talon that run both (and flare blitz burns-would you want an ice double edge that freezes lol?) You also have things like victini and Volcarona that are secondary fire that get flare blitz.

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

I never said I like what I suggest; I only suggest. Usually sarcastically.

  20. Why do people ask how many fingers they are stalling as a basic vision test? Last I checked you can't run a car with your finger; or did I miss the memo?
  21. Mine's in my avatar, so repost of that. Overall, I like the design, and I find it fun to use competitively, especially since nobody really sees it coming until in the fight, from being so forgotten. Hits decently hard, and the speed isn't quite terrible. I just wish it got another type, for better STAB and defensive shenanigans. Poison sounds good enough. Good enough for y'all?
  22. I care, but I do not care. Yeah... elaborating on that. I have can view any situation objectively (more "I do" rather than "I can") which generally is for the better... except when there is no objective logic. (crime, etc makes no sense objectively) Additionally, I can view situations from most perspectives, though I can never understand failing to take into account how others perceive your actions.., which usually means I take the path of most acceptance/least resistance (unless my goal is resisted, in which case I am prepared to defend my case) This leads to a plethora of traits, like being able to listen to just about anything and be able to provide "the correct" response, or knowing exactly what to say My memory sucks, unless it's video game related. In that case, it is nearly unfailing. Decent tradeoff, since my normal memory still works well enough, imo. No clue how far the video game part goes, since I can occasionally predict the RNG once it has pulled its numbers, but before it displays the results. (Not blind guessing. The results literally randomly are at the forefront of my mind, and then I see them occur) Weirder part is this happens irl more often than I am comfortable with. It'd be great for gambling, but it requires a perfect lack of malleability (eg rolling dice, once the dice hit the surface) If I don't show it outright, I have a fair amount of awareness of my grammar/spelling and the like, and try to maintain near-proper usage of it. Comes in handy proofreading. Because the rest of the USA is dumb and can't spell simple words like "metre" or "colour" correctly. Or speak, I guess, since I said "dumb." My bad? I also don't need sleep that much, considering I get around 2-4 hours daily.
  23. TIme for "In Gen7": In Gen7, there will be a Fire-type Stealth Rock

  24. I don't have a main reason, and truthfully, I'd have chosen Hoshido more from liking Oboro and Kaden as characters, but I chose Nohr Because my brother shafted me with it because I guess it reminds me more of my own life. My parents are decently strict (along the lines of prolly locking me from a computer if they knew I had an online account outside of email) on things they think go against what they want, and try to have my brother and I mirror their ideals. Meanwhile, my brother is the only relative I have who even remotely agrees with me on anything (see: Corrin, Nohr siblings); the two of us get along about as well as Corrin with Leo or Xander. I like the idea of siding with a person who is so obviously in the wrong, because I could possibly wrest away any support they have, and make everything collapse on them, if only out of spite. Of course, I'd also be the guy who chooses one side, then sucker punches both of them in order to start at a stalemate, rather than, you know... basically going "here I am, shoot me now." Another factor might be that I'm not 99.999999999% of the members on this site (yes, I know that number is inaccurate), as I don't really care overmuch for anime; it's okay, I'll watch it, but it's basically the same thing from one anime to the next. Anime is from Japan, and Hoshido is based on feudal Japan. Furthermore, I read many, many, MANY book series in the medieval fantasy genre, with most of it being loosely based on "the dark ages," which matches up with Nohr. Shipping-wise. gtfo no. I do not. Even. Do that. I'm more the person who thinks "I wonder if character A from FE14 would be friends with character B from FE8 if they met during a peacetime." Making an army between the games, and seeing how they would intermingle interests me, but not the A x B stuff. Think "Zelgius meets Xander." or somesuch. Would they get along, would they be at each-other's throats?
