It's probably a fact now at this point that I'm probably the biggest fan of Tales of Symphonia on the Earth, since I now own EVERYTHING Tales of Symphonia related, including all of the overly expensive figurines, blu-ray dvd's, posters, Japanese manga, Japanese novelization, wall-scrolls, and all versions of the game (including Japanese exclusive versions). Yes, I am a nerd, yes, I am a huge fan-boy who has plans to go to a Tales of Festival in Japan, and YES... I want to get my stuff autographed.

Currently, I am an Animator, Animation Director, Fan-Game Developer, Stage Actor, and Computer Science Major with a Secondary Major in Performing Arts.

Also... I don't like Pokeplayers. Fact.

  1. Microtransactions and EA fuckery aside, Battlefront 2 is not a bad game. In fact it's actually quite fun, but just for the simple fact that EA had it's dirty, greedy hands all over it is what upsets my stomach a little inside. It could've been awesome and I wanted it to be awesome, but EA didn't want any of that.

I don't base my enjoyment off of what critics score a game, but most of the review scores that you might see from the game are mostly laddened with the caveat that it is a solid game at its core, but flawed in aspects regarding the obvious EA involvement, loot box progression, and a few minor things.

But, in my opinion, disregarding microtransactions and loot box progression, the game is a solid 8/10 for me, and I think that's fair. A tad flawed, a tad rushed (okay, maybe a lot rushed), but fun at its core.

so, if the game had been developed by let's say Activision instead of EA It could have actually been a good game in all aspects?
