Thanks for the review, my consoles and the game will arrive on Friday. I'm even more excited to play now after all the review, I honestly hasnt felt this excited since I found out about Reborn. On a side note, I talked my little brother into buy pokemon Sun while I grabbed Moon myself, gonna have both version woohoo.

hello guys, so after all the dilemma between a ps4 / xbox/ nintendo 3ds, I have chosen the 3ds. Well, what is 3ds without pokemon, and I myself have a been a long time fan (16-ish year is considered long right?) I'm thinking of picking up Sun/Moon but I'd love to have your opinion on the game before actually buying. I know there are search functions and the answers probably come up. However, I'd like your opinion now after all the hype has died down and most people have finished the game, I think your view would be more critical and less bias. I'm sure $40 isn't much to some people, but I'd rather donate to a fanmade game if the official ones don't deserve it. tl/dr: pls give me a review of wether sun/moon is worth picking up now. Also Sun or Moon? Thanks for reading

Hello folks, as we all know, there are many many sidequests to be done in ep16 and I/we love them. My problem is who do I talk to in order to start the sidequest. I have gotten a few but the major ones such as Fern - future thingy is nowhere to be found. Please halp !

but that's what I said xD easy early game. No change in mid-late game. Surely this would catch Ame and developers attention, maybe they will think of something.

I'm not entirely sure how this would break the game balance seeing you cant trade pokemon that were previously axed aka no gyrados / gengar. Undoubtedly, it would make the game a bit easier now that you can potentially have 2-3 starters at the beginning, but mid to late game, the difficulty should remain relatively same. I agree with others, maybe limiting trading until Calcenon or Ametrine would be a better option

cant remember the last time I lost to that little loser.. Now that I think about it, i have never lost to Fern ( soft-reset a few time obviously, but still, he never sends me back to pokecenter)

I have almost similar lineup to you. Trust me when I say this, Get ICY WIND on greninja, the tutor move is outside agate circus. Use Ampharos to bait out all her potions on Togekiss (I believe togekiss deal the least damage of her pokemon, Ampharos can easily tank that) Save your greninja til Altaria, then spam Icy Wind on it. Easy Gym. (iirc, Greninja also deals with her other pokemon quite well.)

As others have said, Blaziken - Speed Boost is the BEST starter as of right now, and imo, Protean froakie is 2nd best. Admitted his early movepools without TM is terrible. However, after getting surf, dark pulse, and access to move tutor Icy Wind ( yes, Icy Wind, the often ignored 65 power that reduces speed) he can single handedly win gyms. My protean swept through the last 3-4 gyms with ease. Icy Wind wrecks Ciel. The only condition needed for Froakie is high IV in SpA, and Speed so he can outspeed majority of pokemon (EV train isnt all that important)

I wouldn't read too much into it, it's probably just the way a maid would call the mansion owner. On the topic, I got the chaotic good vibe Radomus, seeing he fought against El, it's a good indicator that he's not working with either the cult or team Meteor. However, the way he carried out his action is shady- like he's testing the player, and his dialogue is 4th-wall breaking. Wouldn't be surprised if Radomus turned out to be one of the major legendary pokemon in disguise.

Seeing togekiss was recently used by Ciel, i dont think we will be seeing it again. Probably Mawile? Mega Gardevoir
