I am going to go with my first save since i have multiple saves 1. Delphox will-o-wisp to take care of champion's physical threat if any, and one couldnt ask for a better typing than fire/psychic 2. Klinklang my good old klinklang will still be my powerhouse with its shift gear-gear grind 3. Dragalge I am going to get this when i am getting back to my first run with its neutrality to fairy and adaptability

For each core games, RBY/FRLG Besides what have already been mentioned above, another one in particular that gave me most troubles with is Rock Tunnel, requiring me to use HM slave with Flash like what Ice Cream Sand Witch has mentioned, in fact any routes that require HM slaves get on my nerve easily, Fuchsia City is pretty boring for a city that houses a gym leader especially when they remove the only thing that keeps thing interesting, Safari Zone. G/S/HGSS I am going to go with an unpopular opinion and say Route 30, Route 31 and Route 32 in Johto, they are extremely long and tedious to navigate for such early game for beginning routes and impossible to avoid a bunch of Rattatas and Bellsprouts without repels, in Silver/SoulSilver, it is also impossible to progress without HM Whirlpool in order to get to Lugia, which is annoying as well RSE / ORAS Aside from infamous abundance of water routes, cant think of anything at the moment D/P/Pt Victory Road, the HMs required far exceeded those of preceding games and Route 216/217, the thick snow along the way impeded your in already pretty laggy games BW/B2W2 Old Victory Road with the slidings, any missteps would force you to start over. Castelia Sewers is another place that is redundant for an already sophisticated city like Castelia, not to mention the good old encounters with Zubats and Rattatas(why add another B2W2 version of Mount Moon) XY Kalos is a region where random routes are more interesting than towns and cities themselves, most towns/cities were run of the mill and didnt leave much impression to me

Pretty good, the plot is original and canon is separated from both game and anime universe, MCs differ in each series, but there was still continuity before BW adventure manga, the latest being ORAS chapter, unlike anime where Ash is forever MC.

You need to teach a fire type or Manectric(somehow it learns the move) the TM Magma Drift and go to Mount Valor( north of Kakori Village), remember the magma pool that Zetta created? Surf through the pool using magma drift(somewhat similar to Surf but only in magma) and you will reach inner mount valor, complete the quest and you will eventually get to Melia

I also ran mixed set Arcanine, preferential natures are naughty nature or rash nature which increase Arcanine's attack/sp attack stat at the expense of sp defense, which isnt a too big of problem since Arcanine pure fire type has two mainly physical type weaknesses(rock and ground) while has only single mainly special type weakness which is water, just avoid special water type in battle field in general if these natures come into play.
