  1. The room is fully explorable. The only tile that isn't so is the one that places you in the challengers box (think pokemon anime where the two trainers are facing each other) This is pretty much how you engage every gym leader so I'm sure you are already aware of this. Regardless, simply dont step on that tile and you can scoot around the side to talk to it. as others said, this is the only way to get the pokemon, but I don't find it worth using. There are a LOT of physic types in this game.
  2. Necro! Anyway, the way I adjust the game is by previewing it with the software called OBS. Its and entirely free recording/streaming software which I also use for its actual purpose, but it doubles as a screen re-size tool. Just add the game's window to your region, and make the actual OBS program window as big as you'd like the screen to be. You need to have the game selected to still play though, so if you only have one monitor this is limited. But I just put Reborn or any game off to the second monitor then put OBS's preview as big as I'd like on the main monitor.
  3. I'm glad you made a thread for this, as I was heavily considering doing a Mono-grass playthrough with some flavor. I was wondering what difficulty you guys are doing yours on, or what you'd consider acceptable. I haven't actually tried "casual" so idk if its just not a challenge no matter what you do. I figured the Normal (reborn) mode was what I'd go on, as I doubt I'd be able to complete it on Intense without proper match ups, especially if we eventually get gyms that are countertype to the one I pick.
  4. I've put in 40some hours already, but I must say I am REALLY enjoying intense mode. Its grown to be quite an addiction to figure out ways to go from getting anhillated by one pokemon to embarrassing their team with perfect counters. I have 300+ hours in Reborn. I can see it being the same here easily.
  5. What difficulty are you playing on? Is there any way to tell? Either way, if you want to get the full experience out of this game I'd recommend going for one v one matchups against each pokemon a Gym Leader had. Its very important to be able to counter everything, so this will mean not using your normal team for every pull. If you AREN'T on intense mode then its easy. Just get two Xatu up to 25~ and you will sweep him with them. I have my Intense Revenant Keta play-by-play recorded though so if you are looking to take things a bit serious I can post it here.
  6. On intense mode, I went with the following one for one match ups. Gengar -> Mr. Mime. Survived a poison move, one shot with Psychic. Doublade -> cofagrigus #1. Survived the ghost move thanks to naturally high special defense, one shot with Shadow Ball Chandelure -> Graveler. Survived Energy Ball with Sturdy, full attack EVs and high natural attack one shot with Earthquake. Rotom -> cofagrigus #2. Survived Ghostly Wail, one shot with Shadow Ball Mismagius,Dusclops -> Swawsbuck. Neither of her last pokemon can do real damage against Swasbuck. Leech Seed -> Horn Leech to heal and Feint Attack when out of pp. Drink pots against Dusclops, he is super pesky. In my kill attempt, she switched out Mismagius at about 20 percent health, so when Mismagius came back in I just finished it with any pokemon that was fast.
