  1. Kai quickly put the spoon into her mouth, using her other hand to grab Zeta’s chin and close her mouth. “So, how’s it taste?” Kai giggled as she took her hands back, enjoying more of her own treats. “If ya like it, we can come back tomorrow for another one.”
  2. Rokan flinched as he felt the man's sword attack him. While certainly painful, the wound was quickly able to make its way to completely healing itself. “Well, you got some nice initiative.” Rokan sent the swordsman a smirk. Noticing the boy that struck him before he had a chance, he gave a salute to the little kid that just struck the man. "Thanks for the help, but I got it from here." Rokan sidestepped away, preparing an arrow aimed for their shoulder. “If you live this, maybe count your blessings and run!" Move to N7 and aim to incapacitate Mercenary dude.
  3. “Nice job, me...” Mentally hitting himself for his little slip, he reached for one of the arrows in his quiver. “No time to waste, then.” Holding his ammunition by the stele, he placed its arrowhead onto his forehead as he muttered faint incantations. “Anima, grant me strength...” A surge of energy begin to flow through him as he dashed past his allies, preparing an arrow for the Fighter. “Could use some help here!” Move to N6 and deliver an arrow straight to the Fighter
  4. "Dangit, too late." Rokan let out a sigh, his expression returning to a rather dull frown. “I’ve no idea what you’re talking about.” Rokan shrugged his shoulders as the guards spoke to them, feigning ignorance. “There was an axe on the ground, I had it, didn’t want it, threw it away. Seemed like it belonged to some nice merchant, maybe that was the one who went after it.” The man let out a yawn, a tell that would prove to anyone who knew him well enough that he was lying. Luckily, that didn't include anyone around here, hopefully. "His face looked a bit too clean for a Gladiator, I'll tell ya that."
  5. Rokan caught the axe, stumbling as he realized how heavy it was. “Dang, this kid’s pretty tough if he can handle this thing.” After a bit of time getting used to the weight, Rokan looked over at the room they had just been through earlier. “Hey, kid, go fetch.” Rokan threw the axe into the room, making sure he didn’t accidentally hit anyone on the way. “Fetch soon, hopefully.” Rokan looked at the kid, shaking his head in the direction of the soldiers slowly approaching. "Unless you like being caught."
  6. “Should give him at least a bit of time to explain...” Trying to make a quick idea, the man noticed the hand axe they had taken from the boy. “Hey, you.” Rokan nodded over to Marek, asking for his attention. “Mind if I take that axe real quick? I got a plan.”
  7. “If you guys wanna pretend we never saw him, I’m up for it.” Rokan had no problems letting the boy continue on not having to fight for his life, but he sure wasn't entirely willing to risk his own head, either. “Leave him around, maybe an actual city guard will find him.” Rokan waved his hand around as he spoke, letting his hand off of his bow and returning his arrow to its quiver. “I don't think the Commander would look too kindly on us keeping one of the Gladiators around." "Now, if you want to help him escape..." Rokan closed his eyes, his lip quivering as he spoke against his station. "At worst, maybe the Queen won't take too kindly to bad things happening to her Knights." Rokan didn't bother saying more, waiting for the rest to say anything.
  8. “Well, seems like the commotion's nothing major.” Seeing the commotion run off away from them, he prepared himself to strap the bow right back onto his back before hearing the voice of someone to the side, quickly lifted one of their allies. The red-haired man spoke to his allies. “No need to be so rough on him, he seems like your average pickpocket, really.” Rokan glared in the direction of the rather small boy, his bow not drawn but clearly visible with an arrow ready, silently telling that he was ready for a moving target.
  9. “Bards on the battlefield, huh?” The man looked at Wren with a look of slight surprise. Rokan couldn’t say that Bards of all things were the first thing he’d expect out of someone to be in combat, but he was open for surprises. “Guess morale is a pretty good thing to have around here. Hope you can still take a few stray arrows without any armor, though.” “As for me, frontlines really shouldn’t be my thing, but.” Rokan slammed his fist onto his pauldron, the armor chiming a dull tone back. “Sometimes you just happen to have a few things up your sleeve. Thanks to that, I’m probably tougher than your average archer.” The man gave a smirk as he complimented himself, quickly turning back into a dull expression as he took the bard's offer. “Roh-ken, by the way. Guess I’ll join you, though. I got nothing better to-” Hearing the sound of a scream in the distance, the man dashed back to the door, taking his weaponry lying on the ground. “We’ll have time to have fun later. We got things to do, bard boy.” Rokan dashed out with the rest.
  10. "Aw, you're no fun." Kai pat Shelly on the head before taking the two frozen treats off to Zeta. "You gotta have it next time, though. You can't die happy without having one." Though, she'd probably die from having one in the first place. Kai let out a laugh as she saw Zeta poke the delicious treat, stopping herself from falling off her chair. “You don’t cover yourself with it, you eat it.” Kai left three spoons, one for Zeta and her friends each. Kai took out her own, scooping a piece of the vanilla from the dessert and having a taste of it. “Ah, maybe I'll pass out and have a dream with even more sugary treats!“ Kai put her hand to her cheek as a big grin came onto her face. Kai threw her Aether Ball upwards, Anté falling right back onto her head. Taking another spoon, she took another scoop for the blue creature to have a taste of. The Shinx had a delighted look on his face as he had some of the delicious Rawst Berry treat. “Here, lemme help ya.” Kai took one of the spoons before taking a scoop of chocolate and putting it in front of Zeta’s face. “Say ‘Ahhh’.” The girl prepared herself, waiting for Zeta to open her mouth.
  11. “This place certainly looks better than some cheap inn.” The red-haired man left his belongings, a quiver full of arrows, a modest bow that seemed standard issue, and a heavy bag full of books to pass the time and spare clothing, by the closest door, wordlessly claiming it as his own. “Hopefully the inside doesn't prove disappointing.” Having overheard a few bits of conversation between the Commander and the man with an interesting choice in hairstyles, Rokan stepped towards the one still around, the man with the dark-green hair. “Seems like you’re not exactly unfamiliar with the place.” The man looked at the man’s belongings, not noticing anything rather sharp that could be used as a weapon. “Not enough armor to be in a scrap, either." Rather than go with any assumption in his head, Rokan thought to at least ask. “You don’t exactly look like anyone on the front lines, though. Magic user?”
  12. Kai skipped behind the rest of the group, bobbing her head to the beat of a song in her head. She slid beside Shelly, already at the front, putting her left elbow onto the table. “We gotta get her the best ice cream on the menu. We want her to realize how amazing ice cream is.” Kai spun around on her right foot before jumping up and facing the menus as she landed. “We want the best thing you got to offer, money’s no obstacle.” The girl flashed her A-Comm, the screen showing the front of what looked like a debit card. “Two Mega Chocolate Syrup Nanab Splits with one- no, two- actually, three scoops of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry with extra sprinkles and crunchy chocolate bits!” Kai made small jumps up and down, her excitement very much visible for everyone. “You want one, Shelly? You don't mind passing out from sugar overload, right?” Not that Kai ever did, but some people don't have her strength.
  13. “Thank you, machine lady!” Kai nodded her head as the disembodied voice wished her friends safe travels. “Hope to see you again.” Even if she knew it wasn’t a real person talking to her, she wanted to at least show her thanks. Machines are people too, you know. Kai quickly unbuckled her seat belt, jumping off her chair and swiping her A-Comm off the buckle. As she looked to the side, she saw Zeta sitting in her chair, not bothering to remove it. Luckily, one of them had already gone to the trouble of helping her out. “Hey, thanks for helping her out!” The girl gave a dramatic thumbs up to the boy before stepping near the exit. “Ho yeah, I could go for some ice cream.” Kai balanced herself on one leg before swinging her other leg out, the motion pushing her out of the drill to see the bright sky of the Aether City. She stretched her arms out, the chairs having been a bit stiff for her. Kai jumped out the way of anyone else that wanted to get out of the drill. “Let’s do even better and get an entire cake of it!” The tall girl swayed from side-to-side, waiting for the rest to come out for the promised ice cream.
  14. “Wow!” Karik walked off the boat in wonder, staring up into the sky at the dragons flying high. “Aye haven’t seen any manakete traders in so long.” A spring in his step to see the sights, Karik followed the rest of the group. As he saw Clarisse attempt to talk with the woman, the heavy throwing axe caught his attention. “I’ll take that Fransesca. Franchesca?” Karik shrugged his shoulders before pulling out his vespers “However ya say it.” Purchase Nice-looking Hand Axe with an annoying name for 1500 Vespers
  15. How much weight can you handle? Apparently Archers can handle quite a bit, so here's Rokan. (EDIT: Decided to change the portrait, since I felt the original wasn't the best.) Rokan
  16. “Blasted fiends!” Karlos rushed back north, his Iron Javelin raised high. “Luther, prepare to heal Lillie. Yullen, take her to safety while she’s still alive. Alunda, Zentillin, provide backup!” The Knight barked out commands as he readied his lance, taking aim at the nearest swordsman. "Taste justice, bandit!" Move to L10 and attack Myrmidon A with Iron Javelin
  17. “I’m sure everything’s gonna be just fine.” Kai continued smiling, despite the rather grim happenings. The girl bounced around in her seat, getting herself deeper down. “Let’s just get home and take some nice naps.” Kai quickly reached for her seatbelt, locking herself in before realizing Anté was still lying on her head. “Sorry, friend.” Kai raised up an Aether Ball, a light enveloping the Shinx before he retreats back. “Rest up for now. We’ll have fun later on!”
  18. “I’m countin’ on ya both.” Kai gave a pat to the two Pokémon, surprised to feel soft skin, rather than something rough covering Meggie. “Now, let’s get on the ship, so I can show you all Aether HQ.” Kai followed Zeta onto the ship, before rushing ahead of her. Upon getting on the ship, she saw the girl she had been with earlier. “Hey Shelly, what’d I miss?” Kai jumped backwards onto a seat by her friend, docking her A-Comm into the appropriate port. “Place seems lively, did ya find anything?”
  19. Karik walked around the wyvern, getting closer to its head. “Guess I wasn’t exactly that right about yer owner when I met ya. She certainly cares a lot 'bout ya.” Karik attempted to pet the rather imposing creature’s head. Karik covered his mouth with his other hand as he mumbled to himself. Though, her temper ain't exactly that charming.” “Yers would probably be the first wyvern I met, though.” Karik turned his head back over to the girl he beat in height. ”See quite a few more pegasus riders out at sea, traveling between islands. Wyvern riders aren't too often of a sight. Where’d ya get him?”
  20. Karlos let out a hearty laugh as Alunda spoke of her own fear. “Nonsense! I’ve seen men twice your age too scared to kill even a bug.” The armored man raised his lance to the air, cheering his ally with a bright shine against his lance’s point."To stand here willing to hold your tome like that must mean you're one of the braver souls I've met." Karlos slammed the lance back to the ground. “But if you do feel scared, remember that I’m here to keep you all safe.”
  21. “Oh, man!” Karik lied down on the floor boards after his roll, his heart beating faster from the fall. “No wonder she loved doing this.” The pirate raised himself into a seated position, looking over his clothes. His cloak seemed to still be in decent enough shape, all the tears having always been on it. His light armor also seemed to be in decent shape. Glad to see his clothes in good shape, he nearly climbed back up again before seeing the familiar wyvern. “Oh, Myrdwyn.” Despite their rather regretful first meeting, he felt now would be a better time. Getting back onto his feet, steady on the rocking boat, he made his way towards the Wyvern Rider. “What are ye doin’ with yer dragon?”
  22. “Alright, Karik.” The boy looked down over the edge of the crow’s nest, looking for an empty spot. Seeing a safe area for him to go, Karik remembered what he saw her do before. A healer wasn’t too far away, and it’s not like he could die from the impact. “I saw ‘er do this all the time, I can do it.” Taking a deep breathe, Karik stepped back from the edge before running back. “Here we go, let’s do it!” With reckless abandon, the boy jumped off the crow’s nest, tucking himself in to prepare for a roll. Karik jumps off the crow's nest, roll for safe landing
  23. “You’d best be careful, lass.” Karlos patted the Nun’s shoulder. “I admire someone of your skill eager to step to the front lines. And so young, as well. You must have a strong heart to be able to step onto this dangerous field.” Karlos ran ahead of Alunda, stepping closer to the Mercenary and Knight. “Do not worry, my friend. I will be your shield.” The knight pulled out his lance, pointing it towards his enemies. “Come out and face me!” Move to L14, equip Iron Javelin and prepare to Guard Alunda from the Knight
  24. “Well, you have to...” Kai realized what she would need to say. “You know what, I'll tell you later.” Kai put away Anté’s Aether Ball, before checking her A-Comm to pretend she was looking for Aether Balls. “And it doesn’t look like I have any Aether Balls on me, anyway. We can wait until we get back to Space Aether, I’m sure.” Kai pat Anté’s head before picking him back up. “I’m sure Lumi didn’t mean to be that rough.” Kai raised the partially hurt Shinx back on her head. "Keep a close eye on him until we get back to HQ. If he's out and about, we're taking him back and leaving him behind." Kai stood up before walking towards Murki and Meggie, speaking to them in a hushed voice. "Sorry, but I doubt Zeta would be okay with us leaving him behind. If something happens, I'm sure you both can keep him from causing too much trouble, right?"
