  1. Karlos let out a hearty laugh as Alunda spoke of her own fear. “Nonsense! I’ve seen men twice your age too scared to kill even a bug.” The armored man raised his lance to the air, cheering his ally with a bright shine against his lance’s point."To stand here willing to hold your tome like that must mean you're one of the braver souls I've met." Karlos slammed the lance back to the ground. “But if you do feel scared, remember that I’m here to keep you all safe.”
  2. “You’d best be careful, lass.” Karlos patted the Nun’s shoulder. “I admire someone of your skill eager to step to the front lines. And so young, as well. You must have a strong heart to be able to step onto this dangerous field.” Karlos ran ahead of Alunda, stepping closer to the Mercenary and Knight. “Do not worry, my friend. I will be your shield.” The knight pulled out his lance, pointing it towards his enemies. “Come out and face me!” Move to L14, equip Iron Javelin and prepare to Guard Alunda from the Knight

  4. I'm glad I found this avatar.

  5. @Wolfox Glace Lillie's at H10. You can probably heal her at G10. Also, don't worry about Karlos, he can take two hits from Mages.
  6. Karlos was about to march forth before the swordsman so rudely passed him by. “Well, I admire your confidence, but certainly not your armor.” Karlos looked over the man’s coat, knowing full well that he could not take too many shots from weapons. “You let me handle the front lines, lad. And then you finish them off, eh?” Karlos saluted his fellow agent of justice before approaching the Mage. “Your magic may be able to strike through my steel.” Karlos readied his Javelin as he glared towards the Mage. “But you are certainly not impervious to mine!” Move to J10 and delive
  7. @Wolfox Glace You don't mind healing Lillie right now? Karlos is gonna move to attack the Mage probably, and his PS needs a 3rd person in range.
  8. @Wolfox Glace You got the wrong tile to heal Guy, you mind changing it to heal Kayde now? Guy's decent enough for now.
  9. “Amazing job, my friends!” Karlos raised his lance to the sky, cheering on his allies to the west. "Glad that you could take care of that swordsman.” The Knight turned around, seeing what remained of the Nun's attack. His face turned to one of shock as he looked at what remained of the area of forest, but changed back to encouragement. “And you as well, lassie! Majestic fighting!” “Now, my turn to attack this brute.” Karlos swung his Heavy Lance with a flourish, circling around the Archer and jumping over the fence despite his armor. “Charge!” Move to G9 and attack Arch
  10. Y’know, in all honesty, I don’t know why. Luka dug through his mind, trying to remember why he decided to jump down the seats to the Lord. He thought he’d come up with something along the way, but his head wasn’t doing a good job finding something. Luka took a seat nearby, putting on his best sitting posture for the Lord. “I was just wondering if you could tell me more about the situation.” Luka tried to stall for time, trying to find some other subjects he could ask. “Seems like you have some prior dealings with the king, with your son and all.”
  11. Karlos looked over to his allies to his sides. “Do not worry, my friends!” Karlos slams his lance into the ground, his face beaming with confidence. “I shall protect you all. My armor is some of the finest in all of Aeyosal, and will not shatter to these dastardly bandits.” Karlos made his way south, his heavy armor slowing his stride. “Bandits! Come and face me in battle, if you dare.” The Knight took out his Javelin, staring down the two bandits in front of him. The Knight pointed his lance at the Mercenary and the Fighter ahead of him. “I challenge you to even scratch the armor
  12. The sound of boots stomping heavily on the ground could be heard from the outside before the doors were pushed open to reveal a man dressed in heavy armor. “Greetings, warriors!” Karlos called the attention of those around him before stepping into the hall. “I am Knight Karlos, and I’d like to join you in battle today.” The armored man took a seat, waiting for the rest of the soldiers to appear beyond the doors.
  13. “Lying like a proper tyrant king.” Luka had abandoned his perfect sitting posture when he found enough people not looking at him. Holding his chin in his right hand, Luka was leaning away from Hoshiko, looking straight at her as he spoke. “I bet you, he’ll ship all the men and women to war when he's done cutting off the lord's head.” “I dunno about you, but I’m gonna see if I can speak to him directly.” Luka got out of his seat, stopping to look back at his Archer companion. "And if you don't leave, make sure no one takes my seat." Luka tried to squeeze through the audience, sidling
  14. Luka looked at the man’s rather disturbing complexion. The man looked as if he was ill, but there he was, yelling out orders to the rest of the soldiers. “Wish I could be that sprightly when I had a cold.” As much as Luka knew he couldn’t use any weapons, he gave himself a check for any knives that could’ve been planted on him. Luckily, all he found was a vulnerary and a set of drums he got from Anna and Ian. Luka swung the drums in front of him to rest his hands, tapping on them as he walked. “I dunno about you, Hoshiko, but if I saw someone that looked like that, I’d assume they’re
  15. Sometimes Luka forgot why he’d always say sarcastic remarks in his mind. Surely if he made them out loud, they wouldn’t cause any serious problems. He’d just keep going and everyone would get a good laugh. Then this happens, and Luka remembers. An onslaught of comical punches made it easy to remember. It was certainly a Miracle that the boy hadn’t lost consciousness as he fell onto the ground again. As much as he wanted to yell a curse in her direction, Luka knew better. Getting back into a standing position was a task, but Luka was able to get up. "Sorry." Luka turned around in the
  16. Luka watched the girl run up to the group, suppressing a mocking laugh as the girl came bumbling in their direction. You know, I thought great heroes usually looked more graceful than thi- Luka held his thought as Hoshiko tumbled onto him, falling onto Keagan. Luka winced as he hit the floor, his left arm between him and Hoshiko. As he tried to shuffle himself out of the mess, Luka felt his arm graze against something interesting. “Darn, I thought I disappointed men. You should drink more milk.” Luka spoke out loud, not realizing Hoshiko could easily hear his opinion on her lack of h
  17. “Saffron, I have no plans on getting myself killed like this.” Luka’s eyes narrowed as he looked away from the princess. The dancer shook his head, putting a big grin back on his face, his eyes still not looking towards the princess’s eyes. “Or my name isn’t Luka.” Luka grabbed Saffron’s hands, closing his eyes as he tried to give a reassuring smile. And yet, he still couldn’t look her in the eye. “And you.” Luka’s expression turned serious as he turned to Keagan. “I don’t care how much you love you have for Saffron, I don't want to hear you say that.” Luka raised himself onto his t
  18. Luka stared towards Keagan for a good amount of time. The man was intent on learning more about the king’s next move, despite the wishes of the princess. She was right, though. Making it out alive when in the presence of the King's closest soldiers would be no easy feat “King Roswell is having a discussion on support of the war effort with Harmon Flamewalker.” Luka pointed in the direction of the Mages College, his eyes looking down at the street floor. “The meeting will be public for anyone that wishes to come. Held in the Glass Dome near the Mages College.” “And as much
  19. Luka looked at Keagan, staring down at him with his cold eyes. He demanded a location from him, and seeing the princess's reaction to it only made him feel uneasy about telling him. Luka kept his arm down, quivering as he wanted to point in the direction of the College. “Why's Saffron scared?” Luka wasn’t happy just giving him the information like that. His voice was rough as he heard the Knight ignore the protests of the one in charge around here. He shot a glance towards Saffron. "If you're going to ignore her like that, tell me why."
  20. Luka zipped through the streets, accidentally hitting the shoulders of random passerbys. Luckily, he didn’t need to catch anyone’s attention by jumping a few feet into the air. Whether or not he could actually do that, Luka wasn’t entirely unwilling to try. After avoiding hitting a third shoulder on his way to the college, Luka saw a familiar shade of blue, moving with an equally familiar shade of brown. “Oh, Saff-” Luka stopped himself, careful not to accidentally get anyone’s attention. Realizing his mistake, he tried to catch her attention with a different name. “Sapphire, hey!” S
  21. “Hm, that’s too bad.” Probably wasn’t worth my money, anyway. “Again, thank you for the tour.” Luka turned his head towards Rosalyva, listening to her recommendation. The Dancer nodded his head before facing towards his destination. “I’m on it.” Focusing on the positions of any bystanders in his way, Luka followed Yasmin’s directions, speeding off towards the University and prepared to jump over any short walls. Before he got too far, Luka shouted back towards the others. “Hoshiko, pay for the tour when you’re done!”
  22. Luka began to cough more from the dust cloud, leaning forward slightly. Darn carriage riders! I swear if I ever see you, so help me, you better wish I haven't learned to use a sword yet! Luka brought his scarf back over his mouth, glaring in the direction of the carriage. “Well, they should certainly should be more careful. A weak boy like me doesn’t do well with dust.” Composing himself, Luka brought his scarf back down, patting the dust out of his clothes. As much as he worried over the princess’s safety, getting nervous would serve no help. Sending a glance in Klaren’s direction,
