It's a nice day today. The scent of the night queen still hangs heavy in the morning air, the Sun slowly creeps up over the trees and bathes the grass in light, all the birds are busy and twittering, coffee is being made....and then my dog brings a dead frog and puts it expectantly in my lap.
My dog's obsessed with assiduously bringing people random objects, despite being assured multiple times that the market for the same is sluggish or even non-existent.
haha, well put. my cats are similar; they have a pendant for bringing things not quite dead yet so they perform some kind of medieval torture while glaring pointedly at me. and after swallowing their subjects whole, they expect to lick my face. pets are lovely.
