Colress has my favorite battle theme in the franchise, which is saying a lot. Plus his science themed team was really neat, although I don't understand why he had a Magneton AND a Magnezone where a Porygon Z easily could've replaced one of them. Man I kind of want to play BW2 again.

Juniper, because she's a girl and her theme always puts a smile on my face. Rowan and Birch would follow Sycamore is irresponsible and felt really unbelievable in how he handled Lysandre. Oak is fine, but I like the designs of the above 4 more. His theme is cool too. Elm is the most forgettable. screw Kennel. Dreamworld ftl. For the non-introductory professors, Colress is by far my favorite. I don't like how he gets off scott free from aiding Plasma though, really pokemon has gotten really weird with this since BW2 where villains are basically getting away with a lot more than they should.

Wait until you set the field on fire. Using sludge wave is a good idea actually, but only if your pokemon can handle it, and same with the burning field. Both really make Noel easier, but note that whether you turn the field into a hazardous waste zone or fiery inferno, Clefable will ignore the continuous damage since his ability negates any non-direct damage dealt to him. For Clefable you just got to hit him fast and hard.

I think she's the easiest leader monoruns aside but on my grass monorun ferroseed was MASSIVELY annoying as he would wall the entire team and pin missile hurts bad . I almost beat her one attempt but then cradily pulled a rabbit out of his ass and scored two crits in a row, which was beyond infuriating. I ended up having cherubi set up a sunny day against Maractus, then had roselia use growth, use giga drain, then use growth twice more and proceeded to sweep the entire team with giga drain.

I actually started with OU since a lot of pokeon I ended up liking to use were OU anyway. It's really addictive huh? I did about 7 or 8 OU matches last night I think, won at least 4 of them. Heatran was giving me trouble and so did MegaBro but I really didn't have much experience with fighting them at the time and know them a bit better now.I still can't mesh well with megas however, really my team looks more like a gen 5 one lol.

So Charlotte never gets captured then? It's either Laura, Sapphira or twins? Good.

There's like 4 branches at Charlotte's house. I don't know how it's determined who gets captured there, but I know that -anna/Noel gets captured by Sigmund. This one happens most to me most. -Laura gets captured by Sigmund, this happened on my flying monorun. I think I like this one over the twins getting captured AGAIN -Sapphira surrenders to Sirius(IIRC), which is hard to believe as she's too strong for that nonsense -I never got the last scenario, but I'm guessing it's Charlotte who gets captured...again. While I love the scene where Sigmund gets his comeuppances via Sapphira, out of the ones getting captured Laura makes the most sense as Sapphira being introduced as this badass then getting captured is pretty lame and the others already got caught before which just makes the good guys look incompetent.

Those people weren't exactly quiet online though. They tended to be pretty vocal about their hatred. Usually said shooters always left clues and hints that one day they'd eventually snap but people don't take the seriously, and then oh look another shooting.

dude.... just dude... It's even worse than I thought. I knew real life Sigmund was screwy but I didn't think he actually did that and then there's the implication he's...ugh real life is stranger than fiction indeed.

-Aya was Cain's sister yes, after he got banned she took his role as leader I believe, somewhat reluctantly. -Amaria got amnesia from a car accident IRL I think. -I don't know about Tania and Amaria being a legit couple. -Sigmund rather disturbingly did research on ECT IRL, now I doubt it was used on little kids lol but it did involve his sister's death being a factor and I'm not sure just how far this "research" went. -I know the leaders are based off real people, but Team Meteor I'm not so sure. El is so...perhaps? Kiki didn't "die" in real life but she did get sick to the point where she couldn't be on the site anymore. She had a pretty bad disease though. On that note, I suspect Cain is going to die, and it could be what Anna meant by his black eyes.

So really i have very little experience battling online, although I have battled other friends before IRL. My attempts in x/Y or ORAS didn't go so hot but i wasn't trying too hard back then. Seems like Shodown is a good place to play with Reborn's community but I never really used Showdown before at all. A lot of the lingo kind of confuses me too, and I don't know where to start! So um...what's a good place to start, how does shodown generally work, what pokemon can I or cannot use, how are items done...anything can help, and you guys are pretty good with this stuff.

I'm actually glad you mentioned this, because I was really worried about having it too big when I uploaded it. Knowing I can go bigger helps, although I plan to change it to either a Jojo or Berserk avatar of some sort.

See all this time I thought Luna's whole story was some roleplay the Reborn server was doing. I had no idea El was a real dad who actually joined the thing(wtf did he even play pokemon) to see Heather and heather ran off with another user(does everybody live nearby or something) who apparently must have been an asshole IRL considering how unflattering his in-game persona is. So wait, did Cal hit shelly in real life too? Because that would make this even 10x weirder. Like jeez, Reborn servers must have been like massive drama 24-7. How much of it is real, and how much of it is just role play? What was Terra IRL like and why does Ame hate her guts? Reborn is all so fascinatingly surreal, not just the game itself but the history behind it as well.

I always thought it sounded weird and somewhat pretentious in the context of the game. Well this is rude, not like everybody has read the book or have any interest in reading it either. It's a pretty obscure reference and TBH pretty out of place.

Good luck, electric is a fun type in Reborn due to the field effects so I think you'll do well.

^^Adrienne is a gender neutral name, I work with a (rather nice) lady named Adrienne and knew another named Adrienne in high school. And no I'm afraid you don't get it. Gender is not something you're born with and stuck with as you say, transgender is a thing for a reason, and Ame can really give you some insight on the matter, it's only a matter of time until she comes and gives her piece on the subject at this rate, but PMing her is a good idea. Sex is what you're describing, and Foamy is saying that regardless of Adrienne's sex, he doesn't identify with either gender. Your problem and admittedly mine for the longest time was conflating the two with each other, but once you understand there is a difference between sex and Gender, it's like, oh okay, I get it now" and you can really get a better understanding on the complexities of the two. Also, I think Hermaphrodites would be a case of intersex, possessing both female and male specific characteristics. However someone like that could possibly define their gender as one or the other.

Another detail involving Anna is how when Noel and crew are talking about Saphira fighting Lin, Anna says she didn't see anyone there. Now this is strange considering everytime she sees someone, she notices an important quality of that person, either something of their past or reflecting their personality. like she sees the strings on Shelly, the burn scars on Charlotte, the PC's glowiness...but why does she see nothing in lin?

amaria looks so pretty...really great stuff there, I want to draw something now, but man I have like no pencils at my place lol.

Thing is they already are starting with gen 5, GF is too afraid to do something more interesting with them though.

With sturdy it is quite solid, can take a physical hit and gets earthquake at 43 which with a few common candies makes one of shade's toughest pokemon much easier to beat. I think he's best around mid-game, and even late game can hit hard although he doesn't last as you long as he does mid-game. Still he's a fine pick for a ground type.

8/10, it's Luke Skywalker, can't really hate, although I think the colors on the artwork itself are too overly green and sort of run together but that's on the artist. Still a good piece regardless.

Originally steel could be poisoned via twineedle, but they changed that later on. I do kind of wish confuse ray was the same case as thunder wave though, but yeah thanks for correcting me on that.

He left his mom because of his sexuality + promiscuous behavior, which she took issue with I think. I remember Ame saying how Cain IRL had a similar issue with his mom. I think Anna is a psychic. I think Amaria "died" in a sense that she lost her memory and the part of her that came to terms with Titania's true feelings is no longer there due to the amnesia as a result of her suicide attempt. I still don't think that's the real Lin blowing up.

People saying the first two gyms can't touch grotle are wrong BTW, field boosted pin missile from Maractus and Cacnea still hurts somewhat and sonicboom spam in Julia's gym gets old REALLY quick. While he can in theory solo the first two gyms, it's not an easy task and relies on the AI not being a jerk. I do think he's good, but beware that ice becomes increasingly common late game.
