@Alistair I have little confidence right now because I wholeheartedly believed Jace and Newt to be mafia on both days I started a lynch on them :/ But I'm not giving up yet, although my mistakes are getting us closer to LYLO. Here are my statements for now: (1) You can't remove those who didn't vote for Jace on D1, considering that everyone else who didn't voted on Newt instead, whom we all know is innocent, so we're all reasonably suspicious. Similarly, you can't remove those who didn't vote for Newt last day because they chose the safe way and didn't vote. (2) I got the 1-Shot Doctor and protected Amine last night to no avail. It's weird the mafia didn't target him after he claimed watcher; something we could look into but I'm not putting too much of my hopes on it anymore. (3) Reads: 9 Players Alive - 3 of which are Mafia Townreads: - Alistair: You have given good contributions and you have been decently scumhunting. I appreciate the vote on me last phase because it means that you're actually trying for something, unlike others who simply sheeped along. - LykosHand: Initially a scumread, I think I have been merely been prejudiced and grasped at straws for making him out as mafia. I think that the willingness to vote for me and ask for Newt's innocence is good and contribution has been decent. - Divergent: As much as I don't trust my reads quite so, unfortunately, I am still town. Maybe Townlean: - Amine: He has been inactive for the most part, but his inactivity is justified with his honesty in previous matters; I think the comments he made have been genuine thus far. - NickCrash: He's made an effort in the game to analyze things; although, he hasn't been scumhunting much, I think the efforts he exerted are decent. - Paul25: He has tried to contribute at least; not too confident with his reads, but I feel that the notion of scumreading himself feels genuine and he seems to be honest all game. Scumreads: - Venus: I realize I've been townreading him all game when all he's been doing is just follow on my votes in both days; perhaps trying to buddy me, so that it's hard to doubt him. He has hardly contributed to the game unlike his town counterpart which comes up with wicked theories and is risky. - Bazaro: Decently inactive, feels suspicious that he didn't bring up the "vote for me" scenario again in D1; easily sheeped to my votes and hasn't provided much in the way of game progress - Digital Amber: I don't remember any of his posts at all; seems to be laying back in the background, either sheeping on votes or missing out on voting to avoid suspicion. I don't want to start a lynch I might regret... again, so I'll just go and say I'm hardly sure if my reads are accurate. It's up to you guys to judge correctly; better that way, rather than following something blindly. [Vote] Venus

First things first, is nobody caring that @Newt is purposefully depriving the town of an important role. That, my friends, is something that mafia would do as a final act towards getting lynched. I don't see how you're even siding with Newt when he's obviously mafia. ... well maybe that's because Alistair and Lykos are mafia. But I think that Alistair is inno whereas Lykos is mafia. Let's analyze his final statement: "I'm sure that we all will regret to have lynched Newt, i have this feeling that he's innocent. Too bad that i can't prove that, otherwise i would have saved him for sure.Dive if we found that he's innocent, i will start to suspect that you're scum. If he is Mafia, well feel free to suspect me btw. So here is my vote:[Eliminate] Meteor Admin Divergent" (1) So, I have a feeling that he's innocent. Why? I'm pretty sure you're someone who can explain better than feelings. (2) So you're lynching me based on what? Simply because you want to see how I flip or something? Any other accusations? (3) So... you won't regret lynching me? Why? Because I'm town while Newt... is your mafia partner? ----- I'll defend myself properly. (1) I started the lynch on Jace. It was a mistake because he was acting so scummy I just felt he was scum. Would I, as mafia, try to start a lynch on him if I could just get away with voting for Newt? After all, Newt has been bwed a couple of times and it's not implausible to just follow a random bw on D1. (2) If I were mafia, why would I pick Newt of all people when there are better people to pick from the bw on Jace last day? I'm here trying to lynch someone who I found is highly likely mafia because of the conclusions I made pertaining to Jace's flip as inno. (3) Why would I start lynches in the first place when it can easily backfire on me like what's happening right now? I'm a proactive player, but as mafia, I'm not stupid enough to do that tbh. All I can say is that, Newt's not being helpful right now. Shifty, vengeful, and overall suspicious, I'm voting for him. On the small chance he's actually town, it's fine, he's acting so anti-town that it's better to lynch him than not. Sorry for the aggressiveness, but that's the way I want to get my message. Current Player List is as follows: 1) Meteor Admin Divergent [Town] - I know I'm town 2) LykosHand [Town] - Earlier, I was scumreading him because of the mistake that lead to D1's events, but his defense is good and he feels genuine to me. It would feel such a gambit for mafia to do such a bold move which has a high risk of backfiring. 5) Hooligan [Mafia] - I know claiming Strongman is probably something mafia would not really risk doing or that Strongman wouldn't necessarily represent mafia, but his actions are a tad scummy, especially with his shifty votes and OMGUSing. 6) Jace Stormkirk [Third Party] - No need to explain. I do want him to shoot Hooligan as Strongman though. 9) Seel [Town] - Was silenced on a certain day, kinda forgot when. Would probably make more effort if he was actually mafia or I'm overlooking something. 10) Corso [Maybe Town] - I don't really feel much of his presence but his contributions are decent, so leaning town on him. 12) Newt [Town] - Can confirm he's inno because I got blocked too on N0. And his role doesn't have a mafia counterpart. I'd rather not reveal the exact role. 13) Venus [Mafia] - He's shifty in my alignments area due to his unpredictability, but the evidence of Newt is something that encourages me to actually vote for him. 14) Alisae [Town] - No explanation needed. 15) Alistair [Town] - Contributions have been by far good since D1, so I'm inclined to TR him. 16) Sosobean 17) Paul25 18) YinYang 16-18 are null. Why nobody is suspecting them?" - Newt Ok, so (1) What if I changed my position about you? Last day phase helped me amend my reads and I believe I was mistaken in reading you as town based on your behavior and the movement of votes. (2) Why would you never do that as mafia? Any examples? Obviously, you and your team would go for someone who voted you last phase to keep potential threats from popping up. Other than that, I see no reason why mafia would even kill soso. (3) The manipulation theory again? If I was mafia, would I have encouraged people to vote Jace instead of you last phase? There was nearly an easy lynch on you, but I thought Jace was more suspicious. Turns out I was wrong. Now I'm voting for someone I should have voted yesterday. (4) You were the one adamant about being the Marketplace Owner. That's what makes you significantly different. Also, minor thing I notice, you commonly switch from voting yourself to accusing others since D1, are you sure you aren't scum being encouraged to not give up?? "I'm going to go with my guts instead. Don't you have any other reason to suspect me?

@Venus Perhaps they're similar, but I genuinely believe that Newt is mafia. I've been checking the vote tally difference from V1.3 to V1.4 and the statistics seem to indicate Newt's scumminess. Newt was almost getting lynched, but a chance popped up when they realized that they could go for my suspicion on Jace and be safe from his death. Also, notably, sosobean and Jace, the two of those people voting for Newt are dead. Yes, I've been reading another version of Owner's Market in Mafiascum and it's true they could outbid anything they desperately want, but I think we can make them have a run for their money by choosing to not have minimal bids as such that they cannot easily gain roles we could potentially need.

Yesterday's events have been instrumental in allowing me to formulate an amendment of my reads. First and foremost, I think that Newt is actually mafia. Why? (1) He wanted to be Marketplace Owner. Other players such as Venus and Bazaro wanted to be Marketplace Owner too, but his' stands out the most because it couldn't work if it was anyone but him. This smells fishy, but the more fishy thing is that he got support relatively easily which could indicate the scum partners' support. (2) While he was close to being lynched, he claimed mafia. This seems uncharacteristic of what he would do as town wherein he would try to defend himself logically. (3) Jace flipped inno. There was a change of votes between people. I think that mafia rided on this vote to save him as he was close to getting lynched. (4) The items for today are suspicious. They seem to be pro town but I think that as town, he could do better like having the auction detective. Having those other roles seems like avoiding a check on who bought the roles on D1. On the other hand, I think that Lykos is mafia. He joined the election for Newt relatively easily without any doubt and he hasn't been proactive unlike his town counterpart. Similarly, he voted after Newt in the bw on Jace. This seems like a last minute jump to save him. As for the last mafia, I think it could be Amine or Paul. Amine has been sheeping rather easily and the last minute vote on Jace is suspicious considering he was there at the start of the game. Paul, on the other hand, seems sheepish, and has provided little contribution which is unlike him. That said, Lynch: Newt I believe we should spend on those roles and bid so as to not allow scum to take those roles away. Also, sosobean, someone who voted for Newt so early is dead. I believe he was eliminated early to avoid such an unpredictable threat to Newt.

@Newt I believe I've stated that I forgot to do my action last night due to timing of the phase which landed smack in my busy irl life. I'm not sure what to think of the Venus v Hooligan conflict. I was initially feeling that Hooligan is mafia but his posts are logical and he seems genuine; I feel that lynching him would be a repeat of Lykos' game where he flipped inno. As for Venus, he feels townish to me though I'm not sure if my read on him is correct because he's kinda unpredictable. I'm going for a sure lynch on a dangerous role, I suppose. I'm not sure why Hooli claimed a role so early when he wasn't even threatened, but it would have been convincing had he not made it so complex. It's suspicious for such a role to be townsided anyhow with the very extensive ability. I think that the surviving one lynch is merely a ploy to not get lynched. Besides, Strongman is very likely to be mafia-sided. So, I'm going with this for now. [Vote] Hooligan If the Vigilante exists, it would be nice if the Vigilante shoots Jace. I'd rather not trust him to help us.
