[EPILOGUE]End of A Journey! [MAFIA]
Daniel Blackworth replied to sailboat's topic in Reborn Mafia Club's General Mafia
@DigitalAmber Let's see, going by your testament, you're either King, Hero, Goddess, Noble, or Important Noble because only those do not have night actions. However, considering "harmless" which is ambiguous, but could be defined as a role having minimal damage, you could remove King and Hero, leaving Goddess, Noble, and Important Noble. I'd lean more on the Noble roles though. ... well that would be if you told the truth. I'm feeling that I should place my vote somewhere better though. Not that I believe you, but I think there's someone more suspicious and that is... @Paul25 It's good that you completed post requirements, but do you not have another opinion aside from merely sheeping my vote and leaving after that? It makes it feel like you're a threatening role, trying to hide by lying low. [Unvote] Digital Amber [Vote] Paul25- 408 replies

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Frederick did not quite expect Radovan's response. He had expected the boy's almost instantaneous glance as if he had anticipated being interacted to, but he had not quite thought of Radovan as the type of person who only spoke when he felt a need to. He had thought of Radovan as more of the type to speak whenever he could get an opportunity, even if what he said was insensitive or nonsensical. He kept the thought to himself though. Frederick spoke, "It feels as if it has been ages since we last held a conversation. What has your group been up to?" He asked with a composed expression. -

Sorry was busy last day phase, so wasn't able to give my observations, but here are my thoughts: * Candy and Drakyle are harmless roles. I doubt Alistair would be lying about that. Candy calling out to the Sage could make the demon king not visit either, but could be a WIFOM situation, so not sure on that. Sage should decide well though. * Megagun was lynched and flipped Dragon. Jace had the same notions as Megagun, so suspecting Jace as he might be the same kind as Megagun. * Castiel says he visited Seal out of curiousity? I kinda have a feeling I know his role, but I'm not too solid on it. Could be a bluff. * Digital did not claim even as a last gambit. There's a good chance he isn't a harmless role. Hmm So let's start this day with [Vote] Digital Amber- 408 replies

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Frederick agreed to Cathode's suggestion and followed her and the boy Emmanuel in an effort to reunite with the other cadets. He was quite lost and disoriented in his thoughts mainly because of the shards they had encountered in their journey. When he thought of those shards and their bizarre names, he felt that these shards were simply broken pieces of rock which seemed to be more extraordinary than the rest. Yet these shards seemed to be much more. They seemed to give off life to an area, yet at the same time, they drained it away as if taking in what they had lost. It seemed to be the major reason why the life in the cave was sustained and they seemed to be directly related with the balance of life and death. He was curious. Quite curious. He wanted to know more about these shards, yet he felt that even his companions had limited information on these things. He felt that these shards were not merely meant to be shards. He felt that there was more to it, but sadly, he knew little. He decided to keep this memory in his mind. If there came an opportunity to ask about these, surely he would take an effort to ask... and maybe obtain some samples. For now, he was focused on returning safely with his companions. He glanced to an annoying someone's direction, "Greetings, Radovan. You seem to be quiet?" Maybe if he talked more to this individual, he would learn to tolerate him. Who knows? -

VI. Issues It is inevitable for hosts to encounter some issues within the proceedings of the game. This may be minor or major and in this part of the guide, we address some common issues present in Mafia games. Making mistakes Sometimes, hosts perform accidental mistakes such as giving the wrong information to the wrong person or affecting the game flow accidentally by a mistake in role priority. In such cases, the host must not panic and must take responsibility for the mistake by performing damage control. Some cases may include giving information supposed to be received by x to y. In this case, the host may try to remove the information before it is seen; however, in instances where it is seen, the host should erase the information and tell the player to forget it or simply do what has been done. Another case might be that player x should have died instead of y. In this case, you may offer a spot in case of inactives or conduct replacements. This depends on the host. What is important is to apologize for said mistakes and try to repair them. You may contact moderators if you are unsure of what action to take. Inactivity and Substitution It is not uncommon for players to be inactive within a game's progress. Inactivity means that they post below post requirements, do not communicate with hosts to inform them of actions, and simply contribute very little to the game. As a host, you must enforce rules properly and communicate with concerned individuals. You must have a set number of phases wherein they perform lesser than the requirement and if this passes, you are to notify them immediately and give them a warning. If the player has a valid explanation for the inactivity and is willing to participate better soon, accept their explanation if possible. However, it is still upon you to decide in these cases. If the player still is inactive despite the warning, you are free to ask for someone else to substitute the player. This may be done by posting an announcement or asking players who may be ready to substitute in the game. These players may preferably be not part of the game while it is still possible to ask players who were part of the town but died. Appropriate announcements to player substition should be done. If no substitutes are found, modkilling the player is to be done. However, this gives a disadvantage to the concerned alignment, so use this only as a last resort solution. Delays in Updating If you cannot update in the supposed time for phase change, do inform the players for this change and update it at the promised time. If you require an extended absence, inform not only the players, but also the moderators, so that they may keep the thread from being locked. Hosts who do not update for long periods of time or delay updates for several phases will be notified of such cases. Violations Players may tend to commit violations pertaining to the rules you set them. Based on the offense, players are to be penalized with a warning for the first offense and disqualification for the game in consecutive offenses. Some offenses, such as gamethrowing or illegally revealing information, may be penalized with disqualification from the game right off the bat if it affects the game largely. In such cases, it is best to discuss it first with the moderators before proceeding to an action. However, as a host, you must be firm with your stand. -

IV. Running the game As the game progresses, it is the host's duty to manage the game both within the scene and behind the scenes. The host is delegated to update the participants of phase changes and announcements, to manage role interactions between players, and to keep the fun environment for players. The game officially begins once the host posts the Night 0 (or Day 1, in other cases) post. There are two major phases to keep track on: Day Phases: During the Day Phase, players discuss and discuss on whom they should eliminate for the day while they also try to analyze the game's events and disposition of other individuals. In this phase, the host's duty is to monitor discussion and ensure that no rules are broken in discussion. The host is also delegated to post tallies of votes to keep track of whom voted for whom and the number of votes each player has. When the phase ends, hosts are incentivized to update the title of the thread, the players who have died and their roles, and inform all players of the phase change. Night Phases: During the Night Phase, players are typically not allowed to discuss in the thread. However, they are tasked with sending night actions via PM or DM to the host, which allow them to perform an action benefitting their respective factions. The mafia also discuss on whom they should kill for the night. Hosts monitor these actions and create appropriate logs to be able to manage these actions well. Before the phase ends, hosts are to submit the results of the player's actions to concerned players. This, however, does not apply to all roles as some roles are not informed of results. Ask concerned game moderators for any uncertainties or consult the role itself from other sources. By the end of the phase, hosts do the same as with the Day Phase wherein they update the thread title and list of players, indicating who died in the previous phase. V. Ending the game Once a faction has fulfilled its win condition, the game comes to its conclusion and the host provides the ending narrative. The host also places a list of the members of the faction who won and reveals all unrevealed roles to the public. The host may also reveal a log of the actions performed in the nights. Along with this, the host selects a player who will be the Most Valuable Player. This player, by all means, is the player whom the host deems to have made the greatest contributions in the game. This player does not necessarily have to be from the winning faction. The host explains the reason for placing the award on said player. Moreover, the host may also take this opportunity to give feedback on the performance of the players and explain if the roles were utilized well or not. Alternatively, they may point out contributions of each player. Players may also give feedback by showing their opinion to the setup, the host, and their suggestions for next games. This is to be done with respect, of course. -

III. Starting the game Before you can start a game, hosts are requested to submit the opening post to the moderators of the Club, preferably me or Alistair. When it is their turn to be on queue, they are expected to prepare the other materials needed for their game such as Role PMs and specified chats. In order to start a game, hosts are asked to post their Sign-up Threads in the General Mafia Forum of the Reborn Mafia Club. Hosts wait for a set period of time before they start their games. There are three important things that may be done in this phase: (1) Announcing the game - At times, it may be difficult to find players who are willing to play the game. This may be addressed by making use of the game's thread and advertising it to other potential players. Methods may include (a) making use of the announcement board in the Discord channel, (b) organizing a status update in the Main Forums, (c) announcing it on the Reborn Discord Channel, and (d) asking people you are close with or who may have interest in the game subject. (2) Adding / Subtracting Roles - It is common for the intended number of players to either exceed or be lesser than the host's expectations. In such cases, hosts are required to add/subtract roles to accommodate the player base. When adding/subtracting roles, it is recommended to keep the game balance as projected in the initial section. Hosts may modify usage of actions if they deem it suitable for the game size. (3) Assigning Roles - Hosts are expected to assign roles using RNG or Random Number Generator sites or applications to keep things neutral. After they have assigned a role to each individual, they are to send out this information to the players concerned via PMs or DMs, whichever is more preferable for hosts. When this is done, the game will now be ready to begin. -

II. Preparing for your game Before you are able to start a game, it is necessary to prepare certain materials. Having good preparations ensures an effective and smooth experience for the game as a whole. Before a host can queue a game, they are expected to submit the opening post of their game for analysis and checking. Here are some recommended preparations: (1) The Opening Post - A good host prepares important information straight up from the Sign-up Thread. This may include the following: (1.1) An explanation of Mafia and how it is played; if you are using different mechanics, you may explicitly state these here (1.2) Specific mechanics to remember such as what is revealed upon death, what kind of voting is followed, what makes it different from other Mafia games, etc. (1.3) An Opening Narrative or a Synopsis of the Story of the Game (optional if non story driven) (1.4) Factions and Roles with sufficient descriptions (1.5) Rules of the game (a host may use other host's rulesets, given that they are sure that these apply to their game while they may also create specific rules to go by) (2) Role PMs - A good host prepares the details of the Role PM beforehand. This includes the role, ability, alignment, win condition, method of contact with the host, etc. (3) Specified contact areas - A good host prepares specified channels of communications for roles that need it such as mafia or cult groups which often share private channels where they may converse in. It is common for Mafia games in Reborn Mafia Club to utilize Discord as it is an effective grounds for real time planning and interaction. -
Reborn Mafia Club Hosting Guide

I. Designing a Mafia game I assume everyone who's played Mafia at any given point has thought of running their own game for varied reasons: some may have thought of it because they wanted to make a game based on their interests, others may desire to try to observe the environment of players as a hosts while others may simply want to make a fun and fulfilling environment for their fellow players. In the beginning of designing a Mafia game, you should ask yourself, "What kind of game do I want?" Most interested hosts, when asked with this question, answer that they want to create a game based on a certain television show, book, anime, story, concept, and other forms of media. Other hosts answer this question by saying that they want to create a game with x mechanic or x roles. There are other approaches to this, but always, you must first think of the kind of game you want before you start designing. To continue, there are different types of games featured in Reborn Mafia Club. Based on design, there are three basic archetypes: (A) Open Setup - These are the types of games which reveal roles and their abilities at the opening post of the thread. Nothing is kept secret from players. (B) Semi-Open Setup - These are the types of games which reveal partial information. Hosts may decide to hide certain abilities or indicate the characters present, but not their abilities. (C) Closed Setup - These are the types of games which reveal no information. Roles and abilities are hidden, and it is up to the players to speculate the roles in the game. Among the three archetypes, the easiest one to not worry about balance is the Closed Setup since it easily prevents massclaiming right off the bat. However, in handling it, there is still a requirement to balance roles effectively. In this guide, we will focus on Open Setups for this matter. There are also several kinds of variations to Mafia games, but we will talk about standard Mafia games and how to balance the game effectively. A standard Mafia game, for clarification, is a game with an intended Town and Mafia group. It is also common for such games to have a few Third Party or Independent roles. What are the things you need to consider when designing a standard game? (1) Ratio - It is important to balance Town and Mafia groups. For this, the preferable ratio is around 3 Town : 1 Mafia to 4 Town : 1 Mafia. In this manner, Town is given opportunities to make mistakes while Mafia is also within attaining their goal. Deviating from this ratio can often make a certain side more advantageous and this is something hosts and players both do not want. (2) Balance of Roles - It is also considerably important to keep roles balanced, so that both sides have weapons to benefit their side while not having an unfair advantage for their own side. Balancing of roles may sometimes be a difficult thing to do, but here are some tips: (2.1) Avoid making roles overpowered. Make sure that certain roles have deterrents to their effectivity. For example, Cop may be limited by adding Millers or Godfathers, or in other cases, multiple Cops with varying Sanities may be added. You may also utilize counterparts to Town roles such as adding Hooker when there is a Drunk or adding a Fabricator when there is a Gunsmith and/or Vestsmith. (2.2) Add some variety into the setup. You don't necessarily always need the same Cop / Doc / Tracker / Jailer / etc Town group or the Fabricator / Silencer / etc Mafia group. In other words, add some uncommon roles in Mafia, but make sure that you know how they are utilized and how they work. (2.3) Add some vanillas. Reborn Mafia's meta is technically night-centric, meaning it currently leans on the incorporation of night actions, but this doesn't mean that we don't need vanillas. Vanillas give a little space for the mafia to breathe and be able to lie while they also keep town at a balance. Considering adding two or more vanillas though this may not always be the case. (2.4) Prevent massclaiming. Massclaiming tends to be an issue in Open setups with several Town roles. This often makes it difficult for Mafia groups as they have less opportunities to hide in. Aside from adding vanillas in setups, here are some suggestions: (2.4.1) Make the role list greater than the actual number of players. In this manner, mafia has space to make reasonable fakeclaims to protect themselves. (2.4.2) Add some Third Party elements which prevent massclaiming. This includes Cult, which although breaks balance in its own way, does prevent players from effective claiming or Werewolves, which discourage claiming as it harms everyone. (2.4.3) Limit the information revealed per death. Games may incorporate only revealing the alignment (or none at all) of players who die to keep roles ambiguous. (2.4.4) Have a Semi-Open or Closed Setup. Revealing partial information from the start allows better room for fakeclaiming and effective scumhunting. (2.4.5) Have role ambiguity. You can also craft a game which has roles which may be of either alignment. In this manner, massclaiming isn't as dangerous and it gives room for mafia to breathe. (2.4.6) Limit the amount of claims per day. It is uncommon, but it works in some cases. Remember, Mafia is all about looking for the mafia players with the use of analysis and deduction, and not merely with the use of claims and night actions. (2.5) You may also consider limiting the number of times someone can perform an action. For example, Town can have a 2x Shot Tracker or a 2x Shot Vigilante. In this case, Town still has weapons but not be too overpowered. This also applies to Mafia. (3) Role Interaction - Hosts may often be confused on how roles interact with each other. Sometimes, this boils down to how x role would affect y role. To organize this effectively, it is appropriate to analyze the setup carefully and address these questions before the game starts. (4) Role Priority - Hosts may be confused with the concept of Role Interaction when there isn't an established order of actions. To alleviate this, it is necessary for hosts to plan out the flow of actions before the game starts. This may be organized in different ways such as (a) actions may be time-based meaning actions flow based on who submitted what first, (b) actions may follow a consistent priority lane such as mafia kill being before cop investigation, and (c) actions may all happen at the same time, meaning all actions can happen as long as there isn't anything to prevent it. It is deemed necessary to make this clear before the game starts. (5) Independents or Third Parties - It is important to consider the position of Third Parties. Often times, there may be problems that arise when Third Parties may lean to supporting a specific side between Town and Mafia. It is often recommended to set a distance between the two by establishing a clear win condition; however, in some cases, you may go for a joint independent - factional win to give them a chance to succeed. (6) Role PMs - Somewhat minor, but it is always great to explain how the role and abilities of a player works and is utilized in the Role PM clearly. Win conditions should be clear and additional background may be applied if the game is based on a certain theme. -

This topic contains a list of roles that are commonly found in Reborn Mafia Club. It also contains some other uncommon and unused roles, but are easy to incorporate within the game. The list will be updated from time to time. Interested hosts may use this list to make their own setups. They may also place their own variations and tweaks as they seem fit. The list is arranged by alignment, role type, and alphabetically. Experienced hosts may also refer to other sites to make use of complex roles while they may craft original roles from exisiting ones. Town Aligned Roles The standard win condition for Town Aligned Roles is, "You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated." Informative Roles: Protective Roles Killing Roles Support Roles Negative Utility Roles: Mafia Aligned Roles The standard win condition for Mafia Aligned Roles is, "You win when Mafia outnumbers or equals the number of living players." Informative Roles: Protective Roles Killing Roles Support Roles Third Party Roles Third Party Roles have their own win conditions and have differing abilities. Comment below if you wish to have some corrections/improvements/amendments or if you want to recommend a role to be included in the list.

How much do you know of your other Reborn Mafia Club members? Ever wanted to ask a specific question, but couldn't get to it because it'd seem weird to ask out of the blue? Or want to ask a ridiculous question to your co-players and get an honest answer? Welcome to the Reborn Mafia AMA Gauntlet, a thread where you get the opportunity to interview a specific player every week! Since we are a Mafia-oriented club, there will be two phases: The Voting Phase This phase lasts for 2 days or 48 hours. In this phase, members select 3 members they want to nominate to be the interviewee for the week. Active members of the club are eligible for nomination. Voting is done in the thread. The member obtaining the most votes will be the interviewee for the week. Members may choose to decline the nomination and in such situations, the next one in line will be selected. The interviewee will be asked to create a self-introduction post as soon as possible. The Interview Phase This phase lasts for 3 days or 72 hours. In this phase, members of the club may ask any number of questions to the interviewee. Questions are still within the confines of the Forum rules. The interviewee is encouraged to answer the questions to the best of their abilities. Questions and answering may be done as long as the phase is not yet over. When it is over, the voting phase begins once more. I and @Alistair will be managing this event. Feel free to ask us questions if you're unsure of certain mechanics of the event. And the 1st Voting Phase begins!

Below is a list of common Mafia terms which may be good to be aware of or useful in reasoning or posting: Bandwagon Refers to the situation wherein there are several votes on a player. It is common to observe later votes to be unjustified and lacking in substance, and are best to be analyzed. Buddying An action typically denoting to positively reacting to a player to be less seen as a threat. This is usually done by mafia to gain the trust of town, directing it to townread people. Bussing To throw your mafia partner out of the bus by way of voting on them or accusing them immediately. This is done by mafia to either not be directed suspicion upon or to gain the trust of town. Closed Setup A setup which hides information on the roles at hand and what they can do. This involves not indicating the roles on the opening post of the game. Utilized to either provide better game balance or to make a game more interesting and/or speculative. Day Phase The phase wherein players discuss in the thread the recent events and argue on certain matters such as whom to lynch or what to do with a certain action. Town greatly benefits from this phase to direct current and subsequent actions in finding mafia. Claim An action which involves revealing your own role and actions done previously. Commonly done to either benefit the populace or to avoid getting lynched. Contributing without actually Contributing (CWAC) Players who do CWAC are ones who post (typically a lot), but without actually contributing something new to the discussion. This may involve posting one-liners, irrelevant information, or simply repeating what other players have already said. Counterclaim An action which involves claiming an already claimed role. As town, this is done to argue with a mafia fakeclaim of your own role. As mafia, this is done to confuse the town on whom to trust or encourage a lynch on the real owner of the role. Fakeclaim An action which involves claiming a role you don't have. Commonly done by mafia to confuse the town or to avoid getting lynched or suspected by other players. Finger of Suspicion (FoS) Pointing or suspecting a player of being mafia, but insufficient to warrant a vote from you. Hammer Not typical in Reborn Mafia, this involves a final vote which either ends the day early or seals the lynch on a player. Isolation (ISO) An action which involves going over all the posts of a specific player and giving your analysis individually. Lurking An action which involves a player who often checks the thread, but not actually posting anything. Lynch To eliminate a player during Day Phase. The player who gets lynched is typically the one who receives the most votes or the majority of the votes. Making good use of the lynch is the greatest weapon of town. LyLo (Lynch or you Lose) A situation wherein town must lynch a mafia member successfully to prevent them from winning. This may be announced depending on the discretion of the host. It implies that town has made a lot of mistakes to get to this point. Mafia Also known as Scum, they are the Informed Minority who know of each other's identities from the start and have a private chat between them. Their goal is to eliminate Town players one by one, until they equal or outnumber them. Massclaim A situation wherein all players are asked to claim their roles. Commonly perceived as bad, but in some setups may be useful for town to do so. Meta A type of reasoning used which involves an observation of a person's behavior in a certain alignment. For example, Player X may be accused of being mafia because they are more forceful and aggressive and this behavior is seen in them as mafia in a previous game. Alternatively, Player Y may be perceived as town because they are as contributory as they were as town in previous games. Debatable on whether this is useful or not. Mislynch This involves lynching the wrong person i.e a town person. Town is given the leeway to be able to do a limited number of mislynches before they lose. MyLo (Mislynch or you Lose) A situation similar to LYLO except that voting for a No Lynch can still give opportunity for town to have another day. This may be announced depending on the discretion of the host. It implies that town has made a lot of mistakes to get to this point. Night Action (NA) Actions that come along with the role of a player. These are actions that may be done to benefit a player's faction during the night. There are other actions that may also be done during the Day and are called as Day Actions (DA). Neutral / Null A read that indicates that you are unsure of a player's alignment and cannot judge them as either town or mafia yet due to inadequate amounts of information. Night Phase The phase wherein players are not allowed to post in the thread. Players may also perform specific night actions to benefit their team while mafia discusses on a player to eliminate for their factional kill No Lynch A situation wherein players may choose to not lynch anyone to avoid killing someone during the day. Commonly done where there is a lack of information to support a lynch. OMGUS (Oh My God, You Suck) Refers to the situation wherein you vote for another player mainly because they voted for you. Open Setup A setup wherein roles and what they can do are revealed in the opening post. Sometimes, certain pieces of information are kept hidden by the host to provide balance or entertainment and this kind of situation may denote the setup to be Semi-Open. Opening Post (OP) This refers to the first post of the thread. It commonly includes an overview of the mafia game, roles and factions, rules, and other pieces of information depending on the host's discretion. Power Role A Power Role is a role very beneficial to your own faction and detrimental to the other faction. Examples of which are Cop and Doctor. It is advisable to not have an excess of such roles and have them in sufficient amounts. It is important to have a deterrent to specific roles by placing a role that counteracts it in the other faction. Read Refers to a player's personal judgement on other players' alignments. Role Refers to the identity and role you have in the game. This denotes to a special quality or perk you have which you can use to influence or benefit your own faction. Scumlean A type of read wherein you judge someone as mafia or scum slightly and not sufficient to warrant a vote in most cases. Scumread A type of read wherein you judge someone as mafia or scum and are quite sure of it, and are ready to place a vote on them. Sheeping An action which involves a player only following other players' votes or actions without any care for the result. It may be a sign for a player to be mafia. Town They are the Uninformed Majority, who do not know of the other members of their faction. They use the discussion to find other players of their kind and the vote to eliminate the threats to their faction such as the mafia. Their goal is to eliminate all threats to town Townlean A type of read where you think a player is town, but are hardly sure yet on whether to trust them or not. Townread A type of read wherein you judge a person to be aligned with town and can trust their ideas. This is useful to have in order to eliminate possible candidates for mafia. Tunneling An action which involves a player solely focusing on one person alone and disregarding most other players. Third Party Third Parties, also known as Independents, have other win conditions which may or may not be aligned with town or mafia. They have specific goals and are often not belonging to a team, except for cultist roles. Vanilla Refers to roles which do not have an additional power aside from discussion and voting. This comes in both town and mafia versions. Are typically utilized to keep the balance of a game. Wine In Front Of Me (WIFOM) A situation where something can be interpreted in two different ways because of “you know I know” arguments. The logic goes as follows: “If they are town, they would do X. But what if they are mafia who want us to think they’re town? What if they are town and think we may consider they are mafia because of that and do Y instead? What if they are mafia and think of all the previous argument and do Y to look town?” and so on.

The first Mafia game is often considered as a hurdle that new players need to overcome as it tends to mold a player's experience to Mafia. The first game is typically unnerving for players, especially when they tend to be lost as they traverse the game or simply struggle to understand the flow the game is taking. I played my first Mafia game around late May 2017. It was a Mafia game in another forums based on One Piece. It was quite a nervewracking experience for me due to the intense atmosphere even in Day 1 where I already had a potential chance of getting lynched due to not understanding how to play. Fortunately, I was able to survive... until Night Two that is. This guide aims to provide tips on how you can survive your first Mafia game. Other players may also pitch in to provide their own insights and experiences. 1. Read to understand. - One of the major hurdles of being a new player is not understanding what everyone else is doing or how the game is played. This is easily remedied by taking the time to read up on how to game is played and potentially, reading up on other games to see how people acted and how people played. If you do not have the time to read other games, you may simply read up on what the players are doing in the game you're in, carefully taking in what they said. - It is also advised to read carefully the information posted in the opening post of every Mafia game, especially the setup of the game and the rules indicated. 2. Be inquisitive. - A good thing to do as a new player or even as a veteran player is to ask questions when you don't understand something. If you're unsure of something in the game, ask questions either to the other players in the thread or to the game master. This may include roles you've never seen before, specific game mechanics, or unknown terms. Taking the time to ask questions helps you better participate in the game. 3. Observe other players. - Try to observe other players as the game progresses. You may not be familiar with their behavior in previous games as certain alignments, but you can still observe their behavior. You may check if they have been consistent with their stances and movements, and use these to check for contradictions in their posts. Inconsistency can be signs to a player's being mafia, though that may not often be the case. 4. Take care of your role information. - It is often not advisable to claim or reveal your role when it is unnecessary to do so. However, there are instances where revealing your role can support your faction. As town, when you are about to be lynched, it is best to claim and reveal what you know. As mafia, it is best to make up a claim or fake claim another role to confuse the town and hinder them from making good decisions. - Other instances may include revealing to aid the town. Revealing as cop when you find a mafia member may be instrumental, though early claims are not as advisable. Revealing as tracker when you discover the person who visits someone who died may also provide some insights. However, mafia can do these things as well by making fake evidence, so be wary. 5. Vote wisely. - Players sometimes think that their one vote doesn't matter, but it actually does matter. Use your vote effectively and vote for a player you think may be mafia as town or even as mafia to blend in with town. Explain your reasoning for the vote, so that others mya understand your motivation. - Observe voting patterns as well. Some players may be indecisive and keep changing their votes. Others may simply focus on one person solely and neglect everything else. Others simply follow on bandwagons and not provide a different contribution. Observe these kinds of situations and other pressing situtuations as they may lead to finding a mafia person or simply a lazy town player in other cases. I hope that was insightful and if you haven't played Mafia before, join the Reborn Mafia Club and experience a whole new world ~

Well I don't particularly find Mega suspicious, but as long as I'm not getting lynched, I'm fine with this as long as I survive. [Eliminate] Megagun- 408 replies

Hmm been busy earlier so I wasn't able to comment. That said, I'm not too sure with Megagun's behavior. I'll be making a better analysis in the morning.- 408 replies

Well, I won't deny that I did say that, but I did keep my word. I tried to shoot down Paul, but he didn't die unfortunately. He may very likely be Pikachu and had a bulletproof vest. I'll keep my word and lynch myself next day if we both target Pokemon tonight. What's my guarantee? I'll be left open tonight to being killed; I'm risking vulnerability so that I can kill Pokemon off for you. [Lynch] Soren] Target Paul tonight and I'll target Castiel @Corso
