The following should help you. -Put an air balloon on lucario. This will guarantee you a kill on excadril, who cannot hurt you too badly otherwise. -Same for empoleon. I'd also give it icy wind from the circus tutor over hydro pump for this battle as you'll need it for rawrchomp. -Bronzong needs to be subbed in for magnezone, who is useless in this battle. Bronzong's psychic attacks get buffed by the field, and if it still has heatproof (I'm asuming it did so you could beat charlotte), it should handle nidoking. I would also use a heart scale to teach it metal sound, which is stupidly OP on

Easier idea for nugget22: Lead with hairyama and camerupt. Have hariyama use fake out on masquerain, and have camerupt use lava plume. Don't worry about hariyama getting burned as its collateral damage for this fight, or better yet teach it facade if you are good enough to manipulate the voltorb flip game in the game corner. Unless the AI has become smart enough to have illumise use rain dance turn 1 now... Or alternatively, if you can find 3 red shards, there is a house in the lapis ward that will teach braixen fire pledge. go there and do that. That move will also torch the field, allowin

There are very few times I wish to cheat in reborn. However getting good IV's for ditto is one of them. Let the soft resets commence!

In regards to the person stuck on Ciel Out: Hariyama In: Bronzong Setting up TR is your best hope for this match. Teach cofagrigus TR over...probably pain split for this battle, and get TR on bronzong. Contrary to other advice, I'd try and KO togekiss before setting up, as you can potentially bait archeops into using EQ (it has a choice band) on something like rhydon, then switching to levitate bronzong to set up trick room. Your biggest problem is you have absolutely nothing that can stand against paraflinch shenanigans that togekiss employs, and the AI does not hesitate to employ them if

Eh, pancham isn't that great. If you're not using makuhita, I'd recommend mankey as the combination of focus energy + karate chop will invalidate any boosts to the defense of her cradily, while it can survive a few rock type attacks. If possible, try to get one with its hidden ability of defiant as I'm finding that to be a godsend of an ability early game.

Just an FYI for anyone who does the voltorb flip for casino prizes in reborn; That game caps out at level 8. Theres about 3K in coins for you if you get that far.
-
The effort required to keep treecko unevolved until it learns giga drain at lv21 is insufferable. Sceptile best be pulling its weight late game for me now.

After you beat Fern, go as far to the east as you can, using the tauros to ride through the route where you cannot pass by walking. There should be a T-intersection where you must go south before ending up in a hedgemaze. Get through that and you'll be at the 8th gym.

Got a new hard drive. Too bad the old one died and took all my pokemon reborn saves with it. The quest begins anew, with the warning to back up saves more needed than ever.
-
True. I forgot I actually did that in episode 15, but I recommend the spare earlier episode since I never tried to figure out if you could cut back through agate checkpoint after doing all of that. I was too worried about breaking the game at that stage.
-
You can get to spinel town at the end of the episode since at that point Ame is nice enough to allow you to backtrack through agate while we wait for ep. 16. Alternatively, there is also an illegal way to get to spinel town if you are willing to abuse the strength glitch, and have completed the north west corner of the adventurine woods pinsir/heracross puzzle. Can't tell you how I did it because I forgot the path I took through the ice mountain, but probably don't do that unless you have a spare copy of episode 13/14 handy.

Another way I found that makes things easy against charlotte is if you can remove the darmanitan early, setting sand storm while the field is burning leaves her with no way to deal any sort of major damage to rock types outside of lucky burns. If you have something that can survive long enough to set up sand storm with a few rock types, she is completely stuffed.
-
Drapion could work nicely too, as its ability of battle armor prevents it from being critted, has night slash to abuse field effects (works best with a hone claws boost) and also can set toxic spikes which will cause everything but cryogonal to take damage regardless of how many evasion boosts serra gets (Not sure anything on her team even has leftovers outside of glaceon, which makes it better). If you sided with team aqua in the game, I'd also recommend completing the storyline there so you can get a carvanha. Sharpedo can be quite deadly with night slash, ice resistance and outspeeding eve

Go to Ms. Craudberry's house. It's the house just below the pokemon centre.
-
None. The team you currently have might just be enough to get you over the line. If you have to drop someone, it might be swalot, but his toxic will be useful for a few of shade's pokemon. Cofagrigus won't help as much as the others. If you're still stuck, you could try getting a mightyena with snarl + intimidate to soften up a few of his attackers.
-
Cofagrigus could work, but I'd be concerned about betting on the AI doing something stupid when it comes to matters of type advantage. I'd raise yamask in the way that you described anyway because it will be useful for a few upcoming battles after shade at least, and it doesn't help shade no longer gives shadow ball away as a TM either. I'd pass on purrloin. If you want a dark type that might help, I'd consider doing the nuzleaf event in the beryl cave/rhodocrine jungle. It will be very hard to beat that event, but getting nuzleaf will help immensely.
-
Won't hit hard enough and will get mauled by energy ball in return. He's better off changing the field and using either emboar or camerupt against it. Or trying to fish for flinching from persian.
-
I'd be bringing in Noctowl back into your team, making sure to get it to level 37 to learn air slash. Swalot and Luxray will both help. I'd also get numel back in too as camerupt will help against a couple of shade's pokemon. I don't see swoobat or floatzel being too useful at this stage, so they could both be dropped. Luxray needs charge beam for this fight to change the field from short circuit to factory. That will stop shade getting any major bonuses from the field effects, so give it that over facade for now. Biggest issue I see is that you have nothing that will be any good against shade

For Corey's fight, you should also specify whether you are facing him on the corrosive field or the corrosive mist field too, as depending on what you did with the police officers determines which field you fight him in. You've also missed a golden opportunity to get gulpin evolve and grab body slam as a swalot, which is a real pain, since swalot would've helped a fair bit for this fight. Regardless, pignite and gulpin should both be taught facade over their respective normal moves. I would say lead with meowth regardless of either field, and if corey has the corrosive mist field on, give i

Get a heart scale and teach magneton thunder wave. That will make porygon-z a lot easier to beat, though you will have to sack it to win the fight. Lead turn 1 with dragalgae and use sludge wave. Hopefully that OHKO's wigglytuff before it can set stealth rock down (give dragalgae a cheri berry to hold in case of thunder wave). I'd also get another rock/steel because swellow will be very difficult to beat otherwise, since you have nothing better to deal with it. I'd also change scrafty's ability to intimidate for this match, as you might have to swap pokemon in and out frequently to stop swello
-
Apparently he got a gallade over exeggutor. regardless, bug types are very good as long as you KO him with them first. The chess attacks pick up rock typing which unfortunately allows him to squash bugs with the chess pieces if you cannot achieve the OHKO.
-
If you don't want to use trick room or spend the heart scale (even though you should have heaps to use...), use an ability capsule to change magnezone's ability to sturdy. That will give you a chance to either paralyse mienshao (get T-wave from the move relearner) or hit it hard enough that you can revenge with bullet punch from metagross. Edit: And ninja'd. Good that you won though
