Hi friends So my girlfriend was playing Emerald last night and started having a laughing attack because of the "dancing George Washington" she was fighting. Turns out it was an Illumise. Sooo it got me thinking, what other pokemon have resemblance to people? Yeah things like Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were literally named after Bruce and Jackie but I meant more so physical resemblance. I see where you're coming from with that, but most players here have a dedicated "Pick Up Team/Squad/Gang" with 6 pick upers that they just run around with. Eh Gastrodon doesn't really learn any useful Ground types. Check under the Grand Stairway and (I believe) there are Sandshrew and Geodudes. Phanpy's by Corey's gym are good too. Aya is around the time I started using a rotation team (with all 12 of my guys down below) and that system helps a lot in Reborn with how difficult some battles are

For the text being black... just hit the eraser button in the top left corner to reset the text to the default white. Now, for the team. I had a lot of issues with Aya too, I ended up being able to win thanks to my Magneton. But another viable strategy would be to use mist or some other field changing move so ground type moves do normal damage. Idk if that would even help at all, but there are some alright ground types available prior to Aya

Haha yeah Water type started get bodied in the beginning (except Protean Froakie but that's barely a water type). My Turtwig/Grotle crushed Julia and set up enough curses on Flobot that she couldn't do anything. Glad you enjoyed the game so much, it's the best gem I've ever played

Blaziken is complete utter garbage, and by far the worst starter. It's so painfully slow, and even when it gets to attack something it does literally no damage. Worthless. Look I made a joke

Is eevee only available as a jackpot starter, and not obtainable anywhere else?

Is your Arcanine specially or physically offensive? Because if its specially then it is probably the unneeded one, as you also have Delphox and Ninetails for that. But if it is physical, then I recommend axing Delphox, even if it is your starter, because you have Gardevoir for Psychic attacks and Ninetails for fire, as stated before. I still think Arcanine is the better one to replace though

If you wanna make Azumarill a little more bulky then eh that might fly, but considering that 10 point raise to attack is really a 20 point raise thanks to Huge Power, i think we can leave that at a nice respectable 50
