Now, I liked Black and White a lot. Plasma was a good team, and the N dynamic really made it interesting. But something that always bothered me was this: Triple Battles Introduced Two Rivals Multiple enemies come in trios (Shadow Triad, Cilan and his brothers) It seems pretty obvious right? You, the player, team up with Cheren and Bianca to battle Team Plasma and other antagonists through the game in triple battles. It's practically like they made the mechanic solely for that, right? Except no, they didn't, and it always bothered and confused me as to why that never happened. Anyone else think that? or am I just overthinking things and crazy

Yea, Shelly attacked Team Meteor alone with you and Cal to protect Heather, but that's all it was, to protect Heather. She wouldn't have cared if it was you or Cal that Blake had captured, only Heather, her one true friend. Shelly knew Corey was a part of Team Meteor from the get-go, and because of that joined to protect him and Heather, as she knew losing Corey would devastate Heather. As Shelly failed in this objective, her only goal was to get Heather back, even if it meant to go against the organization she joined. As I said before, A TOTALLY LEGIT THEORY AND DEEEEFINITELY NOT A JOKE IN ANYWAY

I get where you're coming from, but Robin still isn't "you." There's no moral choices, he has the set path and everything. If we could actually chose to do the completely spoiler-ific thing and go along with Validar (which I would really really like btw), then yea I'd agree with you more. But since no matter our inputs, Robin stays true to his friends and the pre-set game story

The role Robin has in the game is amazing. Besides, theres nothing forcing you to base Robin off of yourself, and the fact that Robin does have a default appearance and personality makes it less of a "you" character

I've been playing a lot of Awakening recently so I was wondering if anyone else has and who their favorite character was... I'm a big fan of Lon'qu and Henry. Lon'qu reminds me of Zuko from Avatar, and Henry is just so psychotic you have to love him

As you're using Turtwig, I recommend not using Gourgeist again, since Torterra is a significantly better grass type and if you need a Ghost theres much better options, even in Shades gym. At your early point, I'd recommend getting a Goldeen from fishing. It starts with a powerful water pulse, and once it evolves and gets Waterfall it can put in work for a while. Granted, not too useful for the first couple of gyms, but unlike Empoleon it naturally learns very good moves

You don't *need* to download the patches. They're bug fixes that will make the game work better and more pleasurable to play. However, they're by no means necessary. I don't have them downloaded, and its definitely not because I'm too lazy to download them
