Well as Smogon tiers are created based on usage in battles, your points are all valid. I just think that the tier system makes certain pokemon, such as Azumarill and Wash Rotom (I specifically listed these two because they're the worst offenders) seem overrated because they're in such a high tier, even if Pokemon in lower tiers are just as good, if not better, in peoples opinions, which is what this entire topic boils down to.

If i see a pokemon every battle, That means it's overrated, in my opinion. Sure, they can be good, but thats just my opinion. If we're talking about pokemon like pikachu as mentioned above then my bad, but oh well the post is already made.

A lot of stuff in OU. Azumarill, Wash Rotom, all those pokes that you literally can't go into an OU battle and not see one of them. Thats why I prefer Haydunn wifi battles over shofu's these days, because NU is just much more exciting than OU

A good strategy is to take advantage of the field. Since it's Terra, that means the glitch field, where everything is as horribly broken as it was in Gen 1. My recommendation would be a super fast pokemon, Noivern is already fast but it doesn't hit that hard. Alakazan would be optimal but you're stuck in the circus so... But anyways, the reason speed is so important is because speed determined your chance of a critical hit back in Gen 1, so something that outspends her team with a high crit move could be devastating. Sorry I can't recommend a specific pokemon tho! Welcome to the forums

I personally prefer this one for everything up to gen 5 http://sprites.pokecheck.org For gen 6 mons I just go on their Pokemon Database page (example for my Fennekin: http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/fennekin) and copy the still sprite from the evolution line

They might all be teasers/ fake but idk, it isn't overly likely for Gamefreak to pump out 3 main series games in a year, even if they are taking 2015 off EDIT: idk why the link isn't working but yea just copy and paste it I guess
