  1. Atlas (Golurk) Atlas seemed satisfied with the order that it was given. "Of course, sire. I'll get right on it." The Golurk said. It then left the throne room to carry out it's new objective, already having a few ideas in mind. It was good for Atlas to know that it wasn't the only one considering that there may be two more kingdoms out there somewhere. Even though they just seemed to be nothing more than rumors at the moment, it also felt like they needed to be prepared anyways, since they don't know if the other kingdoms are strengthening their forces in belief that these two other kingdoms' existences. With this in mind, Atlas begins to gather pokemon to strengthen their defenses. Velvet (Lopunny) Meanwhile, in Greenwater Swamps, a Coragunk was on the run. He wasn't entirely sure from what, though. With a combination of the thick trees and it's pursuer's blurring speed, he can't really see it well. From what he remembers, he had started being chased just a few moments after stealing a peculiar stone from a Lopunny. He stopped and looked around as he realized that he couldn't see his chaser anymore... until he looked up, that is. The Croagunk managed to dodge the attack from above, but he took a Fire Punch directly afterwards, sending him flying into a tree and dropping the stone. After hitting the ground, the Croagunk looked up to see the Lopunny from before. "I'll be taking this back." The Lopunny said as she picked up the stone. She then looked back at the Croagunk, who was still reeling from the Fire Punch. "Now then, what should I do with you?" She asked herself. " Should I bring you back to town to be dealt with? Should I bring you to the proper authorities? Or maybe I should teach you a lesson myself." The Croagunk looked more and more petrified with each choice that she says out loud. It was then that a letter falls into the Lopunny's hands. "Hmm? What's this." She looks around to see a Sigilyph flying south and then looks down at the letter to see a familiar seal. It's from the Kingdom of Magic. The Lopunny then opens and reads the letter. "Well, well... looks like this is your lucky day. Looks like you're getting off easy." She says to the Coragunk. Her tone changes to a more delightful one. "Goodbye now. Don't let me catch you stealing anything else, okay?" The Croagunk was frightened to hear those words alone and began to run off before his pursuer changed her mind. Afterwards, she began to hop toward the Magic Kingdom, excited to see an old friend that she hasn't seen in years.
  2. Actually, I think I will make my third character now. Name: Velvet Valkyria (I may change her last name) Age: 24 Gender: Female Rank: Wanderer Kingdom: - Pokémon: Lopunny (Can Mega) Bio: As an ex-bounty hunter, Velvet now roams the lands in an attempt to overcome any challenge that presents itself to her. From fighting in tournaments to bringing down criminals just for the fun of it, this bunny tries to tackle anything and everything in her path. When she's not using brute force to defeat her enemies, she tends to use her cute charms (AKA Attract) to captivate them into doing anything that she wishes for them to do, especially when she's outnumbered or when she needs to slip by them in order to get to her objective.
  3. Atlas (Golurk) Answering the King's summons, Atlas enters the Throne room. The thought of two other kingdoms was on it's mind as well. "Are the rumors true? Are there truly two more kingdoms?" Atlas thought to himself. Even the thought of them filled the Golurk with concern. "If the two kingdoms did exist, can they become potential allies, or are they a bigger threat than anything that they've come across thus far?" The Golurk tried to perish the thought for the time being. Atlas eventually made it's way to King Krusher and kneeled before him. "What is it that needs to be done, my King?" The Golurk asked, trying to keep it's thoughts off of what seemed to be nothing but a mere rumor.
  4. I think that it's probably either a Dragonite or Altaria. The funny part is that I was expecting it to be a Goodra before he gave the hint.
  5. Atlas Atlas managed to catch one of the last few Tropius before they began to fly off. "Belay that order. Tell the others to get back here." The Tropius flew off to gather the others. Is wasn't long before the team of tropius were back at the castle entrance.
  6. Atlas "Of course, sir." Atlas responded to Ignis. It then proceeded to the castle's entrance, where a Tropius was already waiting for it. The Golurk looked up to the sky to see that the battle had ended. "What happened?" Atlas asked. "We don't exactly know, sir. The first thing we know, we were having a tough struggle against them, and the next, they were retreating." The Tropius responded. "Good. Whatever their reason was for retreating, this works out well for us..." The Commander said. "Now then, for your next assignment: Captain Ignis has requested for you to head over to Dratini Meadow. He will give you your orders from there." The Tropius nodded. "Yes, sir." The tropius began to take flight one by one as they headed to the Meadows.
  7. Atlas Atlas had picked a defense group which mainly consisted of Tropius and Cradilys, along with a couple of whimsicotts in the mix to help defend the castle. Although it's team had an advantage over the Kingdom of Water, it also knew that it would not be enough to drive their enemy back. Atlas had an idea. Granted it was a risky one, but it knew that this plan would be the most effective. Atlas walked over to it's king and kneeled before him. "Sire, the Kingdom of Water is still attacking this castle. The soldiers that I have assigned do defend it are holding them off, but that will only last for so long." The Golurk admitted. As much as Atlas didn't want to admit it, it didn't really have much of a choice given the current situation. "Do I have permission for a more... direct approach?" It asked the king, implying that it should use the move Fly to engage the Octillery and Swanna in direct combat.
  8. Oh you don't have to worry about that. I don't think that I will have Darius die any time soon... or at all, really.
  9. Sir Darius His worst nightmare has been realized. Sir Darius began to rush toward to try and stop the capture of his Queen. Unfortunately, he didn't get very far before being hit with a sticky web from behind and hits the ground. The Gallade looks up to see an Ariados scuttling away. By the time he was able to break free, it was too late. Shame can only begin to express the miserable mix of emotions that he was feeling. Seeing no other options, he retreated with the rest of the army. Atlas Atlas had arrived at Dratini Meadows just as the battle ends. "Looks like we've won this battle. It's too bad, though. I was looking forward to meeting my target face to face. There's always next time, I guess." It proceeded to head back with the others, feeling glad that they won, but also feeling disappointed that he didn't get to fight at all.
  10. Sir Darius He stopped in his tracks after hearing what Vertex had said and looked back to him. "I bet she did..." Sir Darius wasn't at all surprised that the Queen would give an order like that, but he really did wish that she hadn't. He then looked over to the Tyrantrum and sighed. "Very well, then." Atlas' scouting team The Weavile had arrived at Dratini Meadows to find the hooded figure gathering up the Dratini and came to a screeching halt. As much as he wanted to get a closer look, he remembered the order that that had been given to him by Atlas. The Weavile looked up to see the two Ninjask and gave them a signal. The two Ninjask looked at each other and then proceeded to go and report this to Atlas. The Weavile then proceeded to sneak over to where commanders Ursa and Rader were. Once the Weavile was close enough to the two commanders, he began to speak. "Sirs, we've spotted a Gallade that's making his way here as we speak. Commander Atlas seems convinced that it's the captain of their guard. He looked back at the battle to see the very same Gallade on the other side of the battlefield. "H-he's here already?!? The Weavile looks a bit surprised as he tries to comprehend how he got here so fast, not even considering the time it took to find Atlas in the first place.
  11. Sir Darius Sir Darius looks over to where the Tyrantrum is. "I don't think I like the looks of it either." He said. The Gallade began to walk over to where the Dragon King stands. "Let's fix that, shall we?"
  12. Atlas Atlas could hear the sounds of battle in the distance. It has not yet found any trace of the enemy on his patrol, let alone the Kabutops that the King mentioned. Not long after it had resumed it's patrol, the Weavile under it's command had appeared in front of it. "Sir, it appears that our forces have engaged in combat with the Kingdom of Magic." The weavile said. "So I've noticed..." Atlas responded. "...And what of the Kabutops? Have you found any trace of him?" The Weavile shook his head. "No, sir. We have not found anything that would relate to him, but..." The weavile paused. He looked a little concerned regardless. "But what? You already said that you haven't found the Kabutops yet. What else could there be?" Atlas said. It was beginning to become impatient. "Well, I decided to use a pair of binoculars to look at where the Kingdom of Magic's soldiers came from. Turns out that there's also a lone Gallade on it's way to Dratini Meadows as well." The Weavile responded. "What did you say?" The Golurk seemed a little surprised. "I said that there's-" Atlas cut the Weavile off mid-sentence. "I know what you said. Was there anything abnormal about this Gallade? Did you see anything out of the ordinary?" The Weavile shook it's head once again. "No, sir. It looked like a normal Gallade." Now Atlas shook it's head. "That's not what I meant. Did this Gallade wear any accessories. To be more specific, a necklace with an emblem on it?" The Weavile looked surprised. "Actually, yes, it did. But only thing that was odd about that necklace was the empty gem slot in the middle of the emblem itself." Atlas balled it's hand into a fist. "Just as I thought." It said. The Golurk then pointed Toward Dratini Meadow. "Inform the other commanders of this. Tell them that they could possibly have the captain of their guard on the way." Atlas ordered. The Weavile nodded. "Yes, sir!" The Weavile then began to head toward the other commanders. Sir Darius Meanwhile, Sir Darius was sprinting toward Dratini Meadow with the biggest look of concern on his face. "Of all the times that something like this happens..." He thought to himself. "Of all the times for me to take an eye off of the Queen, and the she puts herself in this much danger..." He looked down at the emblem on his necklace. It was his family heirloom, passed down from generation to generation and eventually passed down to him. It reminded him of why he took his oath in the first place, which in turn gave him hope. "No. She'll be alright. She has to be." He shook off any thought of possibility of harm that would befall his Queen. He hasn't let any harm come to the Queen before and he wasn't about to let that happen now. Now filled with hope and determination, Sir Darius looks toward his destination once again.
  13. Atlas "Of course." Atlas said as it bowed to it's king. It then turned toward the Weavile and spoke. "Inform the others of our new assignment." The Weavile nodded and dashed toward the exit. The Golurk then proceeded to talk toward the exit itself, followed by the Shiftry and Zoroark, to see that the rest of the recon team was outside waiting for it. Atlas looked upon it's team. The entire recon team consisted of an Ariados, an Accelgor, two Ninjask, a Toxicroak, and the three pokemon that were already accompanying Atlas. "I trust that you all have been informed of our assignment?" The Golurk said staring at the weavile. "Yes, sir!" They all replied at once. "Good. Then we should get moving." Atlas said. The recon team split up and began their patrols, and Atlas did the same. (Geez, trying to control two characters at once is proving to be a bit difficult at this pace. I might have to hold off on the third one until I can keep up.)
  14. Atlas "Understood." Atlas responded. It gestured for a small group of pokemon, which consisted of a Zoroark, a Shiftry, and a Weavile, to approach it. "Nothing will get past us." The group kneeled before Krusher as Atlas spoke. "Of course, the rest of my recon team is waiting outside, I assure you." The Golurk added. "...And they are all dedicated to their role. I've made sure of that."
  15. 1. Name: Sir Darius Silven Age: 34 Gender: Male Rank: Captain of the Guard Kingdom: Kingdom of Magic Pokémon: Gallade (or Ralts if we have to start from the bottom of the evolution line) Bio: Darius comes from a family that has served the royal family for generations. And, now that his father has passed away, Darius is next in line to serve the royal family just as his father once did. Darius will protect the King and Queen at any cost, even if that cost is his own life if that's what it must come down to. 2. Name: Atlas Age:52 Gender: Genderless Rank: Commander Kingdom: Kingdom of Land Pokémon: Golurk (or Golett if we have to start at the bottom of the evolution line) Bio: Not much is known about Atlas other than it's undying loyalty to the Kingdom of Land (this being a very literal case since it's a ghost type) and will destroy anyone who dares oppose it. It will use it's strength to every corner of the battlefield and there's very few who could match it. It does not tolerate failure. (I hope these are alright. And, as stated above, they can start at the bottom of the evolution line if you need them to. I may make a third character, but not until later.)
  16. Wanting to protest once again, Komorrin turned to Virgil and almost began to speak. Instead, he stopped himself and let out a sigh a few seconds later. "Very well, then." He said. They've already spent enough time standing around as it is without arguing about who does what, so he decided to give up on it for now. The mage turned around to see the three paths before him. "If what Virgil said is true, then the middle path is the most direct way to the plaza." Komorrin thought to himself. "However, there's a good chance that they know this and set up an ambush." He looked over to the left and right paths. "Maybe if I went around, I could catch them off guard... assuming that they aren't prepared for that, of course. Either way, I should be able to cover more ground with the left and right paths." Komorrin began to walk toward the left path, but stopped abruptly and turned toward the rest of the group. He had nearly forgotten about them when he was lost in his thoughts. "I'll leave it up to the rest of you if you want to stay in a group or split up." He told them. "If you want to stay in a group, follow me. If not, that's your choice. We'll be able to cover more ground that way anyway." He then turned back towards the left path."Either way, we have to start moving. We've spent enough time around here as it is." That being said, he resumed his march down the left path, unsure of the choice that his allies will make and if his own choice was the right one.
  17. "I disagree..." Komorrin protested to Kelsey. "...In fact, you may prove to be more helpful than you think. I could be mistaken, but I believe that you're the only one of us that actually knows their way around here." The mage said, feeling slightly annoyed for admitting that he didn't know something. "And to tell the truth, I would rather have you lead us through town rather than wander around aimlessly until we find something. All we need for you to do is to guide us. You don't have to fight if you don't want to." He did his best to make a comforting smile despite their current situation. "If you can take us wherever we need to go, then we can handle the rest."
  18. Komorrin adjusted his glasses as he began to speak. "I'm sorry, but I'll have to agree with Drake on this one." The mage said in a serious tone. "If we so much as try to run, there's a good chance that most of us won't get very far, especially if they have any cavaliers in there somewhere. If we do have to fight, and that's almost certain at this point, our best bet would be to either face them at the bridge..." He paused momentarily to look back at the burning town. "... or to see if there would be a better place to hold our ground further inside." He looked back towards the group. "Either way, we should take a quick look around to see if there's anything that we could use to slow them down a bit. There's quite a few of them out there and I doubt there's anyone here who wants to fight them all at once."
  19. Sorry about the slow response from me. Apparently, I had a bit more going on than I thought. Anyways, having only one way in and out definitely narrows things down for me. But then again, the reason why I asked was because I had a few ideas in mind, but I didn't want any of them to get in the way of anything that you might be planning. And, yes Hukuna, this did include destroying the bridge, but I decided against it for various reasons. That being said, I think that it would probably be a good idea to just throw out a couple suggestions out there since it doesn't seem like a good time to do things independently at the moment. Either way, I should have a post up soon enough.
  20. Okay, so I've got a quick question before I decide to update. If I remember correctly, there was a bridge that lead into town. Is that bridge the only way to get into that side of town (without going around to the other side of town, of course) or are there other ways of getting in?

  22. I fell for that for a few seconds until I realized what day it was and I admit that it nearly scared the crap out of me. Then I spent about ten minutes trying to figure out how to get here and got kinda annoyed before I realized that there was a link on the DMCA seal. You managed to get quite a few of us one way or another. I know this must have been said quite a few times before, but I'll say it again... Well played, Ame. Well played.
  23. A small grin appeared on Komorrin's face as the Halberdier lost his balance. "That must be the opening that Holland was talking about." The mage thought to himself. He was about to attack when he noticed that Chaust was going for the Halberdier's left leg. Komorrin shouldn't be able to accidentally hit either Chaust or Holland unless they get in the way of his attack entirely. "Still, I'll have to be careful if I don't want to hit my teammates..." Rather than hit the Halberdier dead center as he originally planned, Komorrin aimed for the enemy's right shoulder and casted his Thunder spell, hoping that he wouldn't hit his allies in the process.
  24. I don't mind if she's met with Komorrin once or twice. However, her history with Kelsey (along with everything else) is ultimately Commander's decision.
  25. Knowing that his target wasn't about to come back from the direct hit that he had taken, Komorrin immediately turned his attention toward the Halberdier as he began to speak. The Halberdier seemed to be stronger than he did at first glance. Sensing that this wasn't going to be an easy fight, Komorrin decided to put a little more distance between him and the enemy before preparing an attack.
