Komodojoe

"She's right, you know." Komorrin said as he walked over to Lucia and Kelsey. While he wasn't sure if he should join in on their conversation, he had to at least do something while he waited, and it was either this or listen to Drake's war stories. Even though he was usually one for stories and lore, he didn't want it to be interrupted should this "Virgil" arrive while she was in the middle of it, leaving Komorrin with the only other option. "Everyone has to have SOMETHING special about themselves." He pointed to himself. "Take me for example: if it weren't for the fact that I could use magic, the only problems that I could solve would be in the form of a question. So, you can tell us if you want to..." He paused for a second, realizing what he just said "...Although, if you don't want to tell us, that's okay too. I won't be mad, I promise." He added, not wanting to push Kelsey into saying something she didn't want to.

Komorrin, who had kept quiet until a couple of specific individuals had calmed themselves down, decided to walk over to the startled girl in an attempt to comfort her. "Relax. No one's gonna hurt you... Well, I know I won't, but I can't speak for the others. However, seeing as they're here of all places, they probably mean well." He said with a comforting smile. He started to look around, seeing everyone that he was going to work with. "Well then... it seems that I am probably going to be the center of attention for the next few minutes..." He thought to himself. "... I guess I might as well introduce myself before Drake and/or Holland decide to start yelling again..." He pushed his glasses closer to his face and began his introduction. "My name is Komorrin Lozos. I'm a mage from the Academy. If anyone runs into an enemy that's too tough to punch, come find me." He then takes out his Thunder tome. "I'm sure I can give them quite the shock... No pun intended." Though he spoke with confidence, it was rather hollow. Truth be told, he was a bit nervous since he was never in any kind of combat outside of the Academy's training regimen. He took a second look at his new teammates. "Well then... who's next?"

Name: Komorrin Lozos Age: 21 Class: Mage Appearance: A 5'6" male with short, light brown hair and brown eyes to match, along with glasses that are a little big for his head. He wears thick mage's robes with a fashionable mix of blue and white. He has thinner robes (of the same design) for warmer days as well, but he prefers his thicker robes. Backstory: As a mage in-training with a dream of creating his own unique tome, Komorrin decides to leave everything behind in his hometown in Istrea to enroll in a mage's academy in Annea. After 3 years of studying and practicing magic, he decided it was finally time to put his knowledge to the test and started to make his dream a reality. He spent most of his time out of classes and training to work on what he had hoped would be his greatest achievement. About 6 months of trial and error passed before he made a reasonable amount of progress. It was then, however, that he found a major problem: while it shot out a bolt of lightning as he planned, the magic would also cause an extreme amount of pain to it's target without delivering a considerable amount of damage despite the amount of pain it caused. Realizing that he had practically made a torture device, Komorrin immediately went to work on trying to fix the problem, focusing more on reducing the pain rather than improving the damage that it dealt. No one deserves to go through that. Shortly after he started, he started to hear sounds of fighting coming from outside. He stepped out of his room to seek it's source to get sent flying by wind magic, hitting the wall in the back of his room. The impact put him in a daze. He somehow managed to look up to see a woman that he had never seen before enter the room. The woman had started to walk over to Komorrin when his tome had managed to catch her attention. She picked up the tome and examined it, looking rather pleased with the work that's been done on it so far. "Hmm... Not bad for a weakling like yourself." The woman said with a grin on her face. "I hope you don't mind if I take this." Komorrin, having recovered from the daze a little, began to protest. "Wait... hold on a second... You can't just-" he was cut off when the woman kicked him in the face. "I wasn't asking" the woman said in a much more serious tone. Komorrin could only watch as the woman walked away before he slipped into unconsciousness. When he woke up, he found himself in the main lobby surrounded by his friends and fellow students along with a cleric that was healing his wounds. He looked around. There were casualties on both sides, though there were more that were wounded, and many of those that were wounded on his side were in serious pain, which he assumed was from his own creation. After asking a few questions, he found out everything he needed to know: the Academy, and the town it resided in, were attacked by Onishian troops, the woman that had stolen his tome was leading them, and she had been using his tome against the students. Having all of the information needed, he knew what he had to do next. He picked himself up, went to his room, grabbed any necessities that he would probably need, and walked towards the main entrance. Before he walked out, he was stopped by one of the Academy's teachers, who handed him three tomes: Fire, Thunder and Wind. "We know these are pretty basic..." the teacher said "...but it's better than nothing." Komorrin nodded to the teacher and decided to turn to everyone else to say one last thing: "Don't worry. I'll fix this. One way or the other" and then he walked out of the Academy building. After putting some distance between himself and Academy, everything that had just happened began to sink in, and burst out in laughter when he realized the irony of an Istrean creating a tome like the one he made. After he calmed down, Komorrin decided to find a recruiter for the Annean military in hopes of finding the mysterious woman and the tome that she stole from him. Additional Details: Considering Komorrin's unique name, many people just call him "Komo" for short. Komorrin carries around three pairs of glasses (One that he wears and two spares). This is mainly because he's lost a few due to the fact that they're a bit big on him. Also, even though he's created a tome already, it was never completed, so he still hasn't made his dream a reality, so he may occasionally be creating another tome (starting from scratch, but refers to his notes to prevent creating the same mistake) from time to time. However, since his progress primarily uses trial and error, his ideas will backfire more often than not. Favorite Fire Emblem Game: Awakening {(Even though it's just the introductions going on right now, I feel like I should ask this anyways since I'm a little late: should I join in now, or should I wait for a more appropriate time)}

I went with the Magma gang. Mainly because I played Pokemon Ruby back in the day, but since I also like Buizel, the fact that you get it in that event is what made it official.

I'm not really one to bother with IVs, though I'll get my EVs where I can. I just need a decent nature to get me through and only bother with breeding if there's an egg move that I really want. I only go for that kinda stuff in competitive.

Well, I would probably go for Totodile because of Sheer Force, Chimchar because of Iron Fist, Torchic because of Speed Boost, or Froakie because of Protean. Although, you could also pick Charmander for a sun team or Squirtle for a rain team, though I've never used a weather-based team before so I'm not exactly sure how well that will work in the long run.

@Zagan Well, it's probably good to know that I'm gonna get beaten to a pulp before it happens, but before you do, I will admit that those are some good instincts you've got there. @Gift of Death While I'm only targeting my AA right now, I'm currently considering some form of animation (though I'm not entirely sure about the specifics). @ZephyrEnyalios The Radio Tower is sounding better by the minute! @Cyaloom Hello and thanks for the welcome. I'm not all that original either, or if I am, it's not usually something I can come up with on the spot and can take a while, so don't worry about not being original.

@Sheep Actually, I wasn't even thinking about that when I first came up with it. I mainly picked it because I like Komodo Dragons and because it rhymed so well with my nickname (my nickname being Joe... or Joey for that matter), but being a fan of the series, that's one of the main reasons it stuck. And yes, my favorite starter was Totodile, but Cyndaquil is pretty high up there too. Also, thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to ask you, or the other staff, if I have any questions.

It sounds great! @Yash Thanks, though when I deposited my sanity, I think it burned to a crisp not that there was much to begin with. On the other note, I like Video Games and Music (Both of many kinds). I also like to watch anime, though I haven't watched any recently and need to catch up on a few others. I also like to read when I'm not occupied with other people and/or work. Other than that there's not much else I can think of right now.

Hello everyone! If you haven't decided to look over to see what my username is, or if you actually want an introduction, I am the new Komodojoe of the Reborn forums (even though there might not have been one to begin with). I'm 20 years old and I work at Walmart as an overnight stocker, though I'm also going to college for my Associate of Arts degree. I've been a fan of pokemon since I started playing my Silver version and I've really been enjoying Reborn so far. As for my progress in Reborn, I've beaten all of the gym leaders thus far and started another run in the meantime. Then I started looking around the forums and I thought why not. So here I am. Great! Now that I have made my presence known on the forums, if anyone has any recommendations for anything on the forums, please, let me know. Thanks for having me.
