    Being a big fan of the series I'm very excited for XC2! The soundtrack is sounding really good, the graphics look very nice. Plus it's very exciting that the story will be a direct sequel to the original XC (which imo has a much better story than XCX). I'm not really keen on the anime-esque character designs, but from what I've seen of the concept art snippets in the trailer it seems like the characters will be much more expressive than in the past games. So I could excuse the anime designs if that is true. All-in-all I'm very excited for this game, might be my GOTY of 2017 (in a year where Zelda and Mario are also coming)! And yes it has been confirmed as a 2017 title in Japan and Europe (I swear to god NOA if you mess up on this...).

    I played the first two games at a friend's house, but never owned the games myself. I remember them being very fun, so I'm excited for the No More Herores 3!

    2) Episode 17 will introduce Gen 7 content, though we don't know if the QoL features will also be included. 3) I recommend starting over and doing a themed run, like a mono challenge. Sure the story is the same, but there have been various gameplay changes that have been made to the start of Reborn ever since E12. And for 1) there is a series of youtube videos that are a lore walkthrough of the game. So if you don't remember some parts of the story you could try watching it:

    Yes, you get it from the Job Application sidequest, though only if you are aligned with Team Magma (Aqua gets Specs).

    Life Orb (x2 even) and Choice Band are available items. And if you want to get even more broken items you can do the Theif + Fling + Recycle glitch.

    I don't think there is any thread that summarizes the plot. But if you are willing to watch them, there are multiple LPs of the game on Youtube. Though it would take some time to watch all the episodes since the game is pretty long.

    You can only renovate one major area per episode/gym. So you'll have to stick with the one you choose. I'd recommend choosing the one that has the most rewards that you like. Try searching for what each option gives here on the forums, since I'm pretty sure that has been answered multiple times already.

    There is already a thread that lists all available sidequests in E16. As for something that details how to do these quests, there is nothing as of yet. However, the pokemon and item locations guides will most likely be updated soon to include the content from E16.

    There is a guide that tells you how to find all the available pokemons, but it is only updated until episode 15 content. For the rest try checking the table of obtainable pokemon. I'd personally recommend trading the Seismitoad for a Swampert. You can find Mudkip as a part of a sidequest that involves diving around underwater cities and finding keys for houses.

    The Icy Field (Field Note 13) is also found in North Aventurine Woods, more to the west of it. It also involves doing the Hera puzzle. You find it in the cave with the icy rock (the thing that evolves Eevee into Glaceon).

    Pokemon Reborn has an increased shiny rate of about 1% (as opposed to the 1/4096 rate in the official games). That being said you did get very lucky finding over 15 shinies in 100 eggs.

    You get the PULSE Muk note somewhere in the Blacksteam Factory (the place you fought it). If you're already back to the new Reborn City, you can't get it anymore (I think).

    It has been moved further along the game. I think you can only get it now when you return to Reborn City.

    I agree with the post above, an extremely solid team. And for Swampert, I don't suggest investing in speed since even when fully speedy it is still pretty slow due to its awful base 60 speed.
