From shadows borne, to shadows bound. Another falls to fate`s calls, but the show must go on. One by one, all be gone, until all that remains is a Fox's mask and it's chains.

Kurotsune: Jericho left Kurotsune: Zumi left Kurotsune: I'm left without a QA team. ~AmethystBlack: Zumi now too. ~AmethystBlack: For time, or why? Kurotsune: What? ~AmethystBlack: Why did she leave? Kurotsune: Time. ~AmethystBlack: Do you have a plan? Kurotsune: Yes Kurotsune: Kill you, dispose of the .txt file, let reborn go down in history as the unfinished game ~AmethystBlack: Veto'd. Next plan. Kurotsune: drive off of that success to open a company that sells Reborn toys and possible ending scripts and live happy in Canada Kurotsune: Until the guilt drives me to suicide. ~AmethystBlack: double veto. Kurotsune: There we meet in the afterlife and you forgive for all I've done and so my soul finally rests in peace Kurotsune: It's a solid plan. ~AmethystBlack: don't make me triple veto Kurotsune: There's nothing else to do. ~AmethystBlack: no one's ever gone as high triple veto before and we can't be sure what will happen. Kurotsune: Okay now we have to do that ~AmethystBlack: veto'd. ~AmethystBlack: new plan so that's a single again. ~AmethystBlack: mission failed. Vetotsune: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ~AmethystBlack: WHAT. ~AmethystBlack: ARE YOU OKAY. ~AmethystBlack: IS IT YOUR BLOODSTREAM Vetotsune: NO I AM CHANGING Vetotsune: IT'S CHANGING ME ~AmethystBlack: ...*in Vetotsun: I CAN FEEL IT ~AmethystBlack: HANG ON ~AmethystBlack: DONT GIVE INTO IT Vetotsund: ALTERING MY BODY Vetotsund: CHANGING MY MIND ~AmethystBlack: NO Vetotsunde: MAKING ME MORE ~AmethystBlack: BE STRONG Vetotsunder: AND MORE ~AmethystBlack: ... Vetotsunder: IT'S TOO LATE FOR ME AMETHYST Vetotsunder: SAVE YOURSELF ~AmethystBlack: I'll-- Vetotsundere: I guess we get another person. Vetotsundere: It's not like I care or anything. ~AmethystBlack: I'll always remember you ~AmethystBlack: as you were and not as you are. Kurotsune: All of this is getting quotebooked Kurotsune: Probably only posting it after I get a new member and write the announcement Kurotsune: but it is Kurotsune: ...Or maybe this will be the announcement. Kurotsune: Choices. ~AmethystBlack: I kinda like that option tbh. Kurotsune: Yeah, so do I. And so I'd like to formally announce Dan will be stepping up as my second-in-command in Jericho's place, and I'll soon be officially announcing the newest member of the QA team, as soon as I can get ahold of and a confirmation from them.

You know how it goes, Hukuna. If we both participate in these discussions, we end up agreeing to everything. But that's basically this. I don't like playing the "I'm really old" card, but seeing as I'm one of the few people here closer to thirty than their are to twenty, I can give you this bit of life experience: Nearly every single person I've known in my life that has a stable, healthy relationship, were perfectly fine without it. Certainly most of them would now claim they couldn't live without their other half, but the important part is that they did. Their lives up to that point wasn't about finding someone, it was rather about finding themselves. They found themselves, and the other person came along. And while yes, I can quote examples for both people who are happy with themselves and never found a relationship and people who are absolutely miserable on their own and are currently in a healthy relationship (my best friend, for that matter) the great majority follow that basic rule. Find yourself, and the rest will follow.
-
. Applauds There's only one thing I'd like tio address and it's this: Grasping from context you seem to have ingrained the idea that a relationship is necessary to enjoy life. The only advice I can give you on that front is what I'm attracted to; And one thing I definitely consider is whether or not a person seems like they could get by without me. As counter-intuitive as that may be, the idea is this: Focus on enjoying life without needing someone else to do so with you first. Get that down, and at the end of the day, a relationship will become a plus and not a must.

[IC] Chronicles of Mithra
Kurotsune replied to Kurotsune's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Gizmo, Leon, Leonis An arrow shoots out from the middle of some debris, darting towards the group. Gizmo notices it, but far too late, and he's pierced in the shoulder, collapsing to the ground almost instantly. "Another movement and I'll shoot to kill!" A voice from the debris shouts. Raphael looks to the arrow for a moment. "Ironwood. It's elven made. Probably coated in a blackbark tree's sap... It's a very powerful anesthesiac. He'll be out for a while." He then raises his voice. "I am Raphael, of the Mithran Knights! We have not come to fight you; We're here to help! What has happened to this place?" Silence. And then, movement. Coming from some debris, pushing them aside with relative ease, an elven archer approaches the group, peering over all of them with great care. "You are mortals. I apologize; Your friend will be fine, blackbark sap isn't poisonous." She peers over the group momentarily, then past them. "It seems they managed to chase it off." She lets out a relieved sight, then lets her body drop to the ground, uncerimoniously falling on her behind and seating herself. "Well, knights, if you're here to help, sit down. It's a long story..." Jewel, Seyr. It's been a week since you arrived in Mirthwood. You've gotten to know each other pretty well, as well as have begun socializing with the villlagers. it's interesting to see a place where human and fae harmonize without issues... Both sides helping each other achieve their goals - There's no mistaking why Zane chose this place for you to meet the human envoy. This border town is the embodiment of his vision. You've been enjoying your time here, but so far, there hasn't been any sign of any humans arriving. Until this morning, that is. They introduced themselves as Caer and Wynn, claiming they were envoys from the human kingdom sent to scout ahead, and that the main party would soon follow. After talking through the afternoon, they seemed sympathetic to the Fae King's plot, and claimed to have been briefed a similar purpose: Strike an accord of peace among the two peoples. You four were talking in the city square, discussing among yourselves how long until the main party arrived, and then you heard it. A scream. A sickening gurgle of someone choking on blood, and then the sound of something shattering. The sounds of people running. And then you saw it. Standing fairly tall, if the creature wasn't hunched it would probably meet an ogre in height. With an elongated face with sharp teeth and elven ears, the creature seemed a mockery of fae. Instead of eyes and a nose, it had slits. Four slits that would open and close releasing twisted high-pitched sounds that almost reminded of small, panicked screams. The creature had no hair and emanciated grey skin - It was wearing no clothing and it interestingly didn't have any genitalia, almost as if it were a clay doll. Alongside it, it dragged a stone head. The statuesque piece of rock was very well detailed, and in fact, very different than anything you 'd ever seen before. Your stomach turns when realization sinks in. Fae can feel one another. When a fae dies, their body vanishes so it can be reborn. The only exception is when a fae commits willing suicide. At that point, the fae's body rots like a mortal's body would, and it's soul escapes the cycle of rebirth. That head belonged to Myrlein, an elven guard. And you couldn't feel her soul anymore. She was dead. Fae can't die, yet she was dead. Whatever that thing is, it can kill fae permanently. Your shock is cut by a flare of it's nostrils. It seems to pick up some sort of scent, and turns right towards you. The creature's slits flare again, looking as if they'd rip themselves open as they begin to charge towards you, it's pained scream-like sound hanging in the air. Jem'es It's just been an hour at most since you've arrived in Mirthwood for part of your journey, and the sounds of commotion can already be heard. You ready your bow as you see people running past you into the wilderness and into their houses and locking themselves shut. Something is wrong. As you approach the town square, you spot the tall fae and recognize it to be something you've never seen before. Not long afterwards, it begins to charge into a sprint towards a group of humanoid creatures that stand against it. It's running at a mad sprint, faster than almost any creature you'd seen before. But more importantly than that... You've got a clear shot.- 42 replies

[OOC] Chronicles of Mithra
Kurotsune replied to Kurotsune's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
So, those who know me know I like to make my storylines anything but conventional and very confusing. So here's what's happening: While the humans are currently one week ahead, in the deserted town of Mirthwood, the fae are one week behind, before whatever happened to the town ocurred. So while the humans investigate the town, the events leading up to what happened will be played by the fae. And as a side note, to clarify Raphael's sentence; "Fae do not sleep" means there's something wrong, because a fae town shouldn't be deserted at night. -

(((( Read the OOC )))) “A...Apophillion...” The woman muttered softly, painfully, her body slumped against the man’s arms. “This can’t be happening!” The man howls, his long silver hair cascading down his shoulders. “It can’t be! We cannot die!” “Apophilllion… Remember… You must…” Leon, Leonis, Gizmo The day soon turned to night and night to day, and even though all of you assumed yourselves to be very early in your appearance at the town’s gate, Raphael was still there sooner. “I was beginning to think you’d never show up.” The man looked over every single you appraisingly, the rising sun still on the horizon behind his back. Raphael was wearing a full body cloak, with a hood and a mask that prevented his face from being revealed, yet the commanding tone and the sound of urgency when he addressed you made who he was very clear. With a command, you all proceed to walk down the road leading you to Mirthwood, and to the place where you’ll meet the elvish envoy. A week passes before you near the town. Your food was painstakingly calculated by Raphael, and through the entire journey, Raphael was absent-minded and silent, only talking to you when it was of the utmost importance. All the time, he kept close to him a tightly sealed leather package with unknown contents inside. The man safeguarded it as if it was worth more than his own life. And for all you knew, it was. Soon however, you arrive in Mirthwood, following close behind the cloaked knight. You arrive in the dead of night, and the town is filled only with the sound of silence, the streets quiet and the houses dark. Although you see nothing wrong with this visage, Raphael keeps darting his head to the sides, eyeing every corner suspiciously. As you arrive at the village square, he snaps back and positions himself right in the middle of the three of you. “Draw your weapons. Fae do not sleep.” Seyr, Jewel Elvish magic sure is convenient, what with you travelling to Mirthwood in less than a minute and all. With your envoy a week away, you’re both left with simply waiting until they arrive. Well, time to know each other, I guess.- 42 replies

If no one has done anything yet, I'm going to move and this will count as a strike. To those unfamiliar to how I do things, a character usually dies at three. EDIT: It seems everything has been edited, though I'd prefer if the responses were more verbose as per the message I've sent the two of you. I'll continue later this day. -

Matthew's smile changed, and the man closed his eyes. He was now smiling sincerely in the direction of the man charging towards him. When his eyes opened again, the piercing-blue eyes almost shined with an eerie light ((One with the sea -> ON)) An angry man would make mistakes. It didn't matter even if he yielded fury itself as a weapon; Anger makes the mind one-tracked. It makes you focused, but too focused. Too focused on the wrong thing. And that was something he would use. (( Explanation: Up to this point in battle, Matthew wasn't making a point to use his passive - Footwork )) The pirate shuffled with precision and grace he hadn't shown up to this point, moving his body back just enough so that the axe would swing with enough of a gap to avoid him being hit by any surprises. Matthew's feet were firmly planted on the floor once he finished his movement, making sure that he wasn't going to be blown away by a surprise gust of wind. He angled his rapier slightly, with the intention of it only scraping by the man's arm. It would create such a small scratch that if it connected, his enemy likely wouldn't even feel it; While tempted to pull the trigger and release the poison within the viper's kiss, Matthew didn't. His objective with this was to simply test two things: 1 -> Is the man material, or not? Can he be wounded? 2 -> Assuming he's material and can shift between material and not at will, can he do so unconsciously? Regardless, should the chance arise - like if the man kept moving to try and shoulder-bump into Matthew, his sword would be pointed towards his arm, and would certainly penetrate it if it was at all possible.- 240 replies

Gotcha. Well, as soon as the inconsistencies in the latest posts are written out (Like people getting NPC names wrong when there's a list of the names for reference...) I'll continue. In an effort to get everyone to review their posts and perhaps improve upon them, I won't point out any fingers. Yet.
