Nemir smiled at the comment of nobody surviving. "Aye, but something tells me this group is going to be different. Not to mention I've killed quite a few of them already." Then he walked over to the half full bag and took his swords off his belt. He kind of regretted having to give up the cutlass so soon after taking it, but he sighed and threw it in after his steel sword. What soldier would want a cutlass anyway? Then he took a bronze one and sat back down.

"Honestly? Not long. Something tells me we won't get to find out though." Nemir said as Drake knocked the blade from Karls hands. "I'm Nemir by the way. Most know me as the Blackthorn." He found that as Drake raged at Virgil, he agreed with her. "She's right, you know. Having us fight each other is in no way a good idea. I'd much rather put my skills to use killing Onishians." He said, putting his hand on his sword.

Level 20 and Roy still has 7 defense. And now he is stuck with that until the "final" chapter (Or I get dracoshields). Greeeeeaaaat

So in fe6 Thany as a pegasus knight has a 30% strength growth. Mine has 15 strength (At level 20)....I might have to actually use her now

Nemir looked up again as Virgil issued a duel request. "Finally something interesting going on...although I probably wouldn't fare well against that silver sword. I'll let the others weaken him first." He thought to himself. Then he heard someone ask for help and looked down. It was the kid who was ordered to do pushups. "He's exhausted after only 40? This kid wouldn't make it on a ship, let alone in a battle." He thought, but extended a hand anyways. "And you are?" he said.

Looking up from his book, Nemir paused and said "Aye, I know that much is true. These lords....senators...whoever they are...they don't care for us. Only victory and the riches it brings will appease them. If we die....they can always hire more." Then he turned back to his book and wondered how many replacements they might need after the first battle.

His mind drifting a bit, Nemir took a small book out of his pocket and began to read. He didn't really care what anyone else was doing as long as he got to kill Onishian soldiers eventually.

Welp I just lost 25 minutes of my life that I can never get back. Curse you mushroom 8! The thing was harder than some of the data battles.

{Conclave} Sighing Nemir thought "Why can't anything ever go as planned? "Because you aren't very good at planning." Vis responded. "Charge up a shadow ball. You can let the aura spheres fade if you have to. I think we can catch this hypno by surprise, or at least take a shot at another of her pokemon." he thought. Adam shouted for an opening, and he knew to take the chance. Stepping on to the roof he yelled "Vis. Now!" Vis had had time to charge the shadow ball, and it had grown quite large by the time he sent it spinning towards the hypno. "Step back into the hall if you can. This mother isn't going to play fair, so neither will we." he thought as he moved backwards himself.

Nemir was sure that Kelsey wasn't trying to make a joke, but he laughed anyways. "Ha. You don't like your limbs attached? I'm quite the opposite." Then the one boy with the sword spoke up. "Ay, that's a pretty good idea. I'd like to meet this Virgil myself."

I would assume that reinforcements would start showing up at the beginning of the next chapter. Although DarkLight will have to confirm this.

As Carissa sat huddled in the corner Nemir said "You alright to be left alone? I have an idea about what to do with this mother, but it's going to require Vis and I to leave you--!" he was cut off as he saw a body fall past the window. "Well......shit. That can't be good. Vis charge up an aura sphere or two and follow my lead." Then he went up the stairs and positioned himself in a way where he could see the battle going on, but couldn't be seen himself.

"Nemir." Said the man in black at the back of the crowd. "I've been called The Blackthorn, Stormblessed, Captain and a whole sledge of less....kind...names, but call me what you wish." Then, fingering the pommel of his sword and slowly stepping a little further away he said "I be the last pirate of my crew left alive, and I dont much like this "Mad King"." Normally he wouldn't be this careful to keep an escape route open, but he knew that many people were aware of his reputation, and even more were not the least bit fond of pirates.
