  1. Name: Professor Gawyn Falas Gender: Male Appearence: Link (If I can find a better picture, this will be replaced, but for now pretend the white cloak isn't there.) Personality: To those that don't know him well, Gawyn can appear cold and uncaring, but in reality he knows exactly what he's doing and acts that way on purpose. Persistence and valiant acts speak to him, and to those that have impressed him he tends to be quite friendly towards and will discuss many different topics at length with them. Especially if they involve the Middle Ages. He tends to stand up for what he thinks is right, and will often do so without thinking about the consequences. Backstory: Gawyn was born to a middle class family some odd 30 years ago, in the small town of Belhala, where his parents owned an inn. The game duel monsters was very popular in their inn, and he quickly learned all the ins and outs of the game before he was even 6. As a result of this, he ended up befriending more of the patrons through their duels than with other children his age. Everything changed on his thirteenth birthday, however. A strange man came to the inn, and the next morning, he and Gawyns parents were gone. The only sign that the man had ever been there were the scattered cards tossed about the floor. Gawyn took the cards, and vowed to find his parents. Hoping to find clues, he studied everything he could about the cards, which depicted the Noble Knights of the Round Table. Years later, as an expert of a sort on the age of the knights, he became a history teacher in Heartland, but never gave up on finding his parents. Number Holder: N Deck: Noble Knights DN Name: krim981
  2. I don't see these very often, since I try not to make mistakes but, man Devdans death quote is sad. Especially if you know his personality.....“In this world... There's no place for joy... or laughter...”

They're some of my favorites. On my most recent run of RD I finally got that super secret character with the overly complicated method of attainment (At the end, not Stefan). I won't mention a name for those of you who haven't played fe9/10.

I actually based a lot of the RP off of Radiant Dawn because I loved the level layout so much. Deminbriar is actually based on the Part 1's Daien Cities.

The areas varied a lot in the Tellius games, and they don't very much in the rest of the series (Except maybe fe4 because the huge maps gave a ton of room to work with) besides going from outdoors to indoors. It was a good choice to go off of

  3. I've played yugioh irl for a good while now, and I already have a DN account, so I'm up for this. Will we be paying by the forbidden/limited/semi-limited konami banlists, or is it all fair game?
  4. Shiny suicune get! Only took about 400 resets.

when people claim the number of resets they had to do to get a shiny legendary, I honestly can't help but yell out "Bullshit!" Not because I don't believe that it took a crap ton of tries, mind you, but because I don't believe in the least bit they actually sat there and counted and kept track of EVERY reset...

I can never seem to get an exact number, but I try to keep track for the most part. The mental tally isn't too hard once you get used to doing it.(After doing this 4 times now, I've definitely gotten used to it.)

  5. Wow two hours spent on chem homework. Thanks a lot, school.

  6. So i'm still on chapter 2 and Beowulf and Lex are promoted. Everyone else is at least at 10. Oops.

This is in fe4 by the way.

  7. Being from a pirate crew, Nemir was familiar with axe users. He knew that this one would probably try to catch him with an overhand blow. With this in mind, he quickly hopped backwards, and instead of cutting, stabbed where he had wounded the man before.
  8. That moment in Fe4 where Beowolfs sword cavaliers surround your archer.....and proceed to attack your lance cavalier instead.

    1. Personthing

      Personthing

Well hey, as long as Beowolf and Finn (you said cavalier) survive, it leaves you in a good position to wipe out Beowolf's group and recruit him for about 5000 gold.

  9. This pisses me off so fucking much. I don't have very much faith in humanity left.

Outside of the obligatory "fuck WBC", I like this dude. A lot. He's smart and says fuck a lot.

  10. Watching Xigbar/Braig lose his eye felt so rewarding after the fight with him. A guy with two guns vs the slowest character in the game? Really?

Terra's the slowest attacker for sure, but he hits harder. So it's all good.

    3. Timber Dragon

      Timber Dragon

Guardingmakeseverythingbetter. Embarrassing derps in KH made me learn that the ability to hit stuff harder isn't the solution to survival. I like characters who are able to MOVE, and Terra... does not like to move much.

    4. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

Ventus is the fatest overall in both movement and attacks, though his don't pack much of a punch, the frequency makes up for it. Aqua is second, though her specialty is more oriented around a mix of magic and attacks, and then theres terra... big bad terra.

  11. "Well, that was unexpected. Hopefully it's enough." Nemir thought as newcomers appeared to offer aid. "I'll take the fighter." he said. Being careful to avoid the soldier, he ran towards the axe-wielder and made a cut from the side at the mans stomach.
  12. "Vis, charge up another aura sphere, and get ready to fire!" Nemir thought stepping back into the room. He hoped Diana would give in, but it was better to be safe in case she tries anything.
  13. "More innocent people.....dead...." Nemir thought as he heard the screams. "I couldn't do anything to save them....my crew...these people....the only thing left for me to do is keep fighting. For their sakes." Driving those thoughts from his head, he readied his blade and took the lead, making his way over to where Zach had pointed.
  14. After 37 tries, Lingering Will finally goes down. Surprisingly, him spamming his desperation move was a good thing. If you can block it he's wide open.

    1. Garnet.

      Garnet.

i fought lingering will one time and i got my ass blown away lmao, how did you do it?

The biggest thing is learning his AI. If you know the signs for what he's going to attack with, they're much easier to avoid. Although in his second phase, he attacks so fast that he is nearly unpredictable so you really have to know what you're doing at that point.

    3. Garnet.

      Garnet.

See I didn't even get past the first lifebar. He was going crazy fast, so I had no idea. I'm just saying, at level 99 with the Ultima Weapon, I shouldn't be crying laughing because I got my ass busted, lmao.

  15. Does anybody have any tips on Lingering Will in KH 2.5? I can always get him to the last two or three bars of health then he locks my commands and murders me.

    1. Flynn

Some general advice being to level up your Drive gauges a lot to get all the nifty abilities they offer outside of Forms. Gliding is literally the best way to deny him ground after being locked. Also, while you CAN abuse First Form, it makes the fight kind of easy mode and unsatisfying. First Form's Sonic Blade gives a portion of HP upon striking as well as invincibility, so you can abuse Second Wind/Second Chance. But for a good, satisfying fight, simply level up the drive forms and take...

  16. "Aye matey, but you'll be going first." Nemir thought. Agiley, he got up and made a move as if to knock away the mages tome with his sword, but instead of doing so, changed angles and made several quick cuts across the mans chest. Then he dropped back down into a crouch, ready to move if Zach couldn't feather him in time.
  17. Nodding to Yuri he inspected the mage thoroughly. The man was shorter than him, and holding the tome loosely in front of him. "Zach......aim for his head, but don't shoot until I say. I have an idea." He said. Then, he darted toward the mage and upon reaching him made a swift cut, low across his leg. Hoping that he would stumble, Nemir dropped into a crouch and yelled "Fire!"
  18. Chronicles: Samurai Warriors is a great hack and slash based off of the historical warring era in Japan. It's quite accurate, and I learned a lot from it. The best way I could describe it is Dynasty Warriors for 3ds, and given the chance I recommend picking it up. (Last I checked it goes for about $12.00) Ill probably be editing this from time to time when I think of more.
  19. I remember those Light Pillars. They made the Great Bridge even more painful than it was in Path of Radiance, and I hated that chapter then. I'm actually starting to get interested in historical piratry now that I've been looking up this stuff for Nemir, and figured they would be useful in some way or another.
  20. Okay, removed the caltrops, although I'll be keeping them in mind in case I need them later.
  21. If the caltrop thing isn't okay, I can edit my post. Just thought it would make sense, considering the time period and Nemirs background.
  22. Nemir knew he couldn't help the child, but it angered him all the same. "I really wish I had my cutlass right now.....although those soldiers would probably poke me full of holes before I could use it." he thought, running after his companions.
  23. Sword in hand, Nemir followed a bit behind the thief and archer. He felt kind of bad leaving Virgil to deal with the onslaught, but finding survivors was more important than anything else just then.
  24. Knowing he wouldn't get another chance, Nemir took off after Zach. Arriving at his side, he asked "You know this town well, right? Is there anywhere that would be targeted for an attack? I don't think this happened by chance."
  25. Nemir drew his blade and dropped into a ready stance. Not long after he did, however, he noticed the smoke coming from the town. "Nobody would be burning anything this early in the morning. Something isn't right." Then he sniffed the air. "Definitely not right....There's too much for it to be a cook fire." He had once read of an old country, long ago, whose soldiers would burn towns they had conquered. It was an effective war tactic, to keep the citizens disheartened, and he couldn't help but think of it when he saw how much smoke there was. Then again, it could just be bandits, or someone being careless, but why take the chance? Keeping in stance, he nudged Drake, who was the closest to him and nodded towards the town. "Keep the knight distracted. Something is wrong in there, and I plan on finding out what." Then he turned and waited for his chance to get away.
