  1. My stats final actually went pretty well for how nervous I was about it. The only question I didn't know was one the teacher said she isn't grading.

  2. Would you mind if I saved the umbreon and ninetales in case I ever want to use them someday? I really like them.
  3. Well, one of them is me. I'm fine with people knowing so long as I'm not pestered about it XD As I said before, I don't have a ton of background with rpgmaker so it's going to be a learning experience for me, and I'll admit that I'm probably going to ask for help from those more knowledgeable at some point. In the meantime, at least I can make (what I think) are pretty good mono-type teams, right?
  4. { Blair / Paul } "The Wheel of Time? Yes, I've read it. I think using the whole One Power thing to really define magic and how prominent a role it played in the story was one of the best parts, and I especially enjoyed the ending. Quite the plot twist. The character your thinking of is probably Gawyn, with how similar the names are, and I suppose how identical it is to my own." said Gawyn with a smile. Then another student walked up and said hello. "Hello....err...I don't think I've ever had you in class before. I'm Professor Falas, or just Gawyn. Here to see the new exhibit? It's quite fascinating."
  5. Doesn't matter to me. Was just about to post, unless you want to first?
  6. So I just finished a practice chem final, and holy crap am I going to fail the real one XD. I just hope it doesn't drop my final grade too much from the 87% it's at now....(It doesn't help that the teacher won't explain anything, and hasn't really taught all year)

  7. I just noticed that it still doesn't block out accuracy drops, so if it is used in the El''s ditto battle the return of prankster purrloin's is in order. Edit: Or not, just noticed Ame's post on the last page. Still. Suicide pocket sand cats is a viable strategy.
  8. {Blair} Gawyn's breath caught in his throat. "Galatin....said to be the most powerful of the swords in pure strength. During midday, it was said that the wielder had the strength of 10 men, but as day turned to night, it's power waned." he said. "The card of course holds true to this in it's effect and is even pictured being wielded by Gawain. I wonder which part of England it was found in?"
  9. {Blair} "Hello, Blair." said Gawyn, turning towards the student. "I felt that it was beyond time to learn about cultures other than those involving the knights, being a history professor and all. Egypt specifically has been coming up quite often recently, so I'm here to see if Johnson has anything interesting." Then the employee mentioned a sword, and a rarely seen smile spread across his face. "Or not. I definitely need to see this!" He payed the employee and looked back at Blair. "Interested? Feel free to tag along. It's always good to see young people learning these things without me holding them captive in class."
  10. I was really conflicted on this, but eevee wins out over gen 2 for me....if only by a little bit. (My love for Colosseum/Gale of Darkness and the fact that I played Gale recently makes me pretty biased towards it.) Edit: If eevee is chosen: For it's evolution, I would recommend the stone system used in Gale of Darkness where the player is given a choice to pick one of the stones that evolve it from an event. Sun/Moon/Leaf stones could be changed through essentials to also allow eevee's evolution, and I would imagine that adding an icy and fairy stone would be pretty simple(A universal eevee evolution item might work too, but I'm not entirely sure how that would work). Maybe also add a max friendship requirement to this so that the player will be rewarded for not letting it faint too often. Of course for this to work though, you wouldn't be able to give the player any stones before this event or they could evolve it early.
  11. www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3rm6jMFeac&index=1 Well, I don't really know what I was expecting. Still like original Shaman in the Dark more though.

  12. Well, I think I'm finally getting pretty good with lucario on smash 4. Unfortunately though the lag hurts him most of all on wifi because of the aura mechanic

  13. Arriving at the museum, Gawyn entered through the double doors at the front. There was an employee standing there like usual, so giving his normal stare, he said "Excuse me. You wouldn't happen to know if Ike Johnson is here today, would you? I have a few things to discuss with him." He wondered if there were any new discoveries recently. It was doubtful that there would be anything on the knights, but he supposed if Johnson wasn't there he would take a walk through the Egyptian exhibit anyways.
  14. Hey, I like what I see so far. Unfortunately, I don't have rpgmaker and have very little experience in working with it so I won't really be of much use there besides a few things I've learned from watching AtomicReactor's series on it (I'm willing to try/learn more though since I've been meaning to buy it anyways).
  15. Unable to find Anna, Gawyn made his way to his scooter in the parking lot. He was still stumped over the whole Egyptian lore thing, so he sped off towards the museum in hopes of finding Ike Johnson.
  16. Could you link that either here or at the end of the At School topic? I can't seem to find it. Edit: Nevermind, ignore this. I'm used to typing it in the search bar and forgot you could look at the actual rp forums.
  17. Nemir grimaced as the mage pointed out his wound. "Aye....bleeding is generally not good, although I've had worse wounds." She wasn't lobbing fireballs at them yet. That was a good sign. "You...wouldn't happen to have anything to help with that, would you?" he said. "And the boy is right. I haven't heard names from any of you yet."
  18. In this setting, you don't really have to be super competitive though since we are all locked to one deck with the most "meta" ones being banned. Most of my experience comes from just reading the cards of a deck or archetype and seeing how they work together, and if there's room, what to add to it to push it further. At the very least, I know cards that you can splash into basically anything and they will work how they're supposed to XD
  19. Hey, just dropping in to let you all know I still exist. Before the host-change I was waiting for the after school topic to start posting again, and Ill continue waiting for that. Anyways, I hope everything works out with you and your family Thomas, and I hope for your grandfathers recovery. In the meantime, good luck being the new host Dobby! If there's anything you need help with gameplay-wise feel free to let me know.
  20. When they try to toxic a mega steelix....three times.....
  21. For the first time all year, my answers for chem homework matched the ones in the back of the book. Although with my luck, the book will probably be wrong.

  22. Nemir's vision flashed as he took a lance in the side, but when it cleared the enemies seemed to have dispersed except for one burned man. Whispering to Blue-Hair, he said "Keep that one occupied. I'll circle around port, er...left...and catch him from behind." Then, glancing down at his side he said "After we get rid of him, you wouldn't happen to have any healing herbs on you, would you?"
  23. Yeah, I was wondering when you'd point that out as there hasn't really been a lot of strategy involved in my attacks. I have to remember that this is Fire Emblem XD
  24. So is it just me, or by sheer resemblance does Walhart look more like the (default) Avatars father than Validar does in Awakening? I kinda wish they would've went that route since he was a better villain than Validar was anyways. (Although, I see why they didn't because of plot and support conversation reasons)

    1. Shamitako

      Shamitako

But Validar sounds more like Vader than Walhart

  25. I agree with Exlink on the re-roll part, although as he said I wouldn't really like having Nemir up and die this early in the story unless it's absolutely necessary. I think you're doing a pretty good job on the story line so far, although I feel like having some kind of map would help keep things a lot more organized and give us some sort of direction as to where we are in relation to the other players.
