I personally prefer one where you can make cutscene choices. I feel like it gives games more depth, but of course, the choices have to mean something. (One of the biggest gripes I had with Fire Emblem Awakening was that every time the game gives you a choice, the aftermath is the same.) Even if it's just small things like extra story content that are "unlocked" or not by your choices.

Well, here you go. My friend Mcowher helped me with it (actually he did most of the work. I'm worse at spriting than I thought XD). Changes can be made if necessary, although I really like it. Edit: I just noticed that you need a steel team. Let me know the level caps, and I can help with that since not only is it my favorite type, it's also my favorite one to monotype.

Rest in peace, Iwata. He probably had the biggest influence on my childhood and it is really sad to see him go. He felt more real than other company heads, since we really got to know him through the directs, and he will be greatly missed.

I wouldn't mind being a beta tester. For the delta pokemon, I had the idea of a ghost or ghost/fighting lucario, but Im not the best at spriting so the sprite might take a bit. (Using Reborns shiny sprite as a base.)

That's why I ended up using the default hair for the males. I just didn't like any of the others. (The females options were nice, but I still preferred default overall. They also nerfed nosferatu so that it can no longer double. After the Aversa's Night, Armsthrift fiasco I can understand why.

So somebody over on SerenesForest made this avatar customizer using the options in the games. I thought it was pretty cool and figured I would share. I ended up making one of my oc's, and another of each gender that I might use for my playthroughs. If you couldn't tell, there is a certain facial feature I am particularly excited about.

I used piplup on my first playthrough, and with defiant it made the early game fairly easy despite type weaknesses everywhere. (Since things like to spam growl and whatnot.) It's also a personal favorite, so I'd say go for it.

They generally like to throw in mythological elements of various cultures when making FE games. Most of the sacred, or holy weapons come from myths as do the names of characters, and FE6 and 7 (mostly 7) heavily referenced the Song of Roland (Which I'm fairly certain is French) , going so far as to

I suppose I can consider myself one of these "hardcore" or veteran fans because I'd been playing a while before Awakening's release. I like how they're fixing the balance issues and whatnot, and I have mixed feelings about the weapon durability, but so far that seems balanced enough. I dont mind casual mode, because as said previously it is optional. Phoenix Mode seems a little pointless, but that's just me and I don't mind it either. I wouldn't really like to see time travel again since it was just done. I hope they find a new way to implement the kids. (Not FE4 scale mind you. That game did it in a special way. No spoilers though, go play it for yourself.) I have mixed feelings on the avatar as well, but I don't think it's a terrible idea if they make them the main character. In 12 he was generic and I didnt really care about him and in Awakening he completely overshadowed Chrom. This way, at least, the avatar can be their own person without either of these issues. Really I'm just hyped for a lord with dragonstones whether they be avatar or not. I don't really know how I feel about capturing coming back yet. Thracia offset the free items with nightmarish difficulty, and if Fates capturing works the same way it will be kind of unbalanced since the difficulty won't be there.
