  2. Any reason for the username Spade? Are you actually a shovel?
  3. At this point I've played through every game in the series, so this might take me a while to think up. Limiting myself to playable units because over half this list would be villains otherwise 10: Salem (Thracia 776/FE5) 9: Gunter (Fates) 8: Niles (Fates) 7: Sophia (Binding Blade/FE6) 6: Hugh/Niime (Binding Blade/FE6) 5: Legault (FE7/Blazing Sword/Rekka no Ken) 4: (FE10/Radiant Dawn) Spoiler Character. (If you've played FE10 twice or dont care about being spoiled click it. If you do care and have not played FE10 twice, don't.) 3: Haar (FE9/Path of Radiance, FE10/Radiant Dawn) 2: Leif (FE4/Genealogy of the Holy War, FE5/Thracia 776) Note: Heavy FE5 Spoilers and Slight FE4 ones. 1: Canas (FE7/Rekka no Ken/Blazing Sword) There we have it. 1-3 took a lot of consideration and re-arranging but I eventually got them down. Sorry for the length of most of these. I usually get really into this type of thing.
  4. http://prnt.sc/c73feq In response to the Metal Gear Survive trailer. Honestly I wouldn't have been mad if they hadn't felt the need to slap Metal Gear onto the title to ride of Kojima's success.

      Here's another one :D

  5. Swampellow, huh? My final opponent.... I challenge you to honorable combat! Really though, lets have some fun with this.
  6. On the topic of Gaiden, if you can get past how slow it feels due to age, it's actually a really fun game. It has a lot of things that the series has looked at and taken from into the future as was already mentioned, and it even added some new fun stuff that never returned. (Bows with 5 range....Hype!) Third tier classes were also introduced in Gaiden, something that was only re-introduced in Radiant Dawn and then never again. You could even loop one certain third tier back into a villager so you could go to third tier in a different class if you really wanted to. Also I'd like to point out that Gaiden has undoubtedly my favorite soundtrack on the NES. It's a huge one for that time period, and nearly every song sounds like something better than what the NES should've been able to handle. Like really, just listen to this! (This is the final chapter theme, if you're planning on playing it, you can wait to listen but...it's going to take you a while to get there, and while good the music isn't exactly meant to express emotion like FE4's is)
  7. I'd like to help test as well, if that's alright. This looks really interesting, and I like a lot of the changes made to pokemon. Glaceon, one of my favorite mons, finally gets a decent ability! The art is really nice as well. Also I am a big fan of the reputation/morality system and am interested to see how you make it work.
  8. Oh no, why did I say anything. Looks like Fortune users are now the boss killers.
  9. I'm sure we'll be seeing some soon enough. Especially when promotions (critical eye is really good) and killer weapons come into play.
  10. Apologies for disappearing week 1. Wasn't home a large majority of the week.

    Hello :>

Hello and welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay.
  12. Gotcha. The idea was just to give him somewhere he could retire to after his initial fights and I felt like the north fit pretty well. It doesn't really give him any influence since nobody actually lives there. The title of sage was more something he was given for his prestige in battle than an actual title with benefits.
  13. Name: Raziel, Sage of the North Race: Angel Class: Cryomancer (Ice Mage) Primary Weapon: Magic. Most skilled at ice, water and light. Backup Weapon: Throwing daggers, spelled for an icy explosion when they hit a target by default, and can be spelled in other ways. Appearance: A relatively young angel to be working in the field. He looks, for the most part, like a human does, with the exception of wings sprouting from his back. One white and the other slightly darker. Lengthy white hair and piercing blue eyes make him seem fairly attractive to those that meet him, although he usually has no comment on this matter. He is very thin and frail looking, and the light blue and purple robes he wears make him look larger and more intimidating than he actually is. He tends to keep the hood of these robes up, as the majority of the time he'd prefer not to interact with anyone and either get killed or go home at the earliest opportunity. Personality Overview: Raziel is a rather quiet individual who, quite frankly, doesn't want to be here. He is a powerful sage for one so young in the world of the angels, but he doesn't let it go to his head, and generally keeps a calm demeanor. Unless it comes to matters with other angels and the demons. He tries to associate more with humans and monsters, which is very strange for his kind, although in his eyes he doesn't think the other two races deserve his attention. This, of course, can get him into trouble in an alliance such as this one, and it likely will cause conflicts among he and his allies. He is heavily focused on completing a mission once it begins and will do all in his power to see it done with few casualties (although if these casualties are demons or other angels...he couldn't care less.) Enjoys reading, flying and eating in his spare time. With all that he eats, he never gets any bigger though. Searching for magical artifacts is also a hobby of his, although in Myriad, he suspects, there won't be very many. Skill Level Overview: Backstory: (Tried to keep everything balanced by giving drawbacks like concentration for the more powerful spells. Let me know if anything needs changed.)
  14. Too bad their base stats are pretty bad for this point in the game. (At least on Lunatic they were, havent played Revelations on Normal or Hard) That's just a Revelations balancing issue though like with so many other characters on this route. Although it's kind of weird that they have Silas literally right there with pretty solid bases though...
  15. This is the case, just checked myself. Edit: Actually, looking at it again, it says for one enemy round. This makes it sound like it works for the enemy phase, but because it lowers counterattacks you cannot double the enemy phase you use it.
  16. Finished Super Mystery Dungeon (finally). Tbh I definitely prefer Explorers of Sky in both gameplay and story. But this wasn't bad by any means.

I heard that Explorers of Sky does kind of assume you played Explorers of Time/Darkness. Is that correct?

    2. Combat

      Combat

Not really. As I recall, it just had a few extra dungeons that were related to the plot, but was still the same story.

^ This. There were also a few "special episodes" that focused on side characters they added.

  17. Galvantula was on a lot of our teams this week, and for good reason. Speed control and great coverage against Amazon's big threats make it a great mon for facing them. My set was a little strange though. Skulltula (Galvantula) @ Charti Berry Ability: Compound Eyes EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 1 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpA / 30 SpD - Thunder - Thunder Wave / Sticky Web - Hidden Power [Poison] - Bug Buzz Thunder and Bug Buzz are pretty standard. I went with Thunder Wave over Web this week since it cripples a great many things, even their flyings, which are immune to webs. Huge access to defog also made running web (and relying on it) kind of risky. Now for the weird part: HP Poison. I have never seen this move used in competitive and will likely never see it again. The reason is simple, Whimsicott was the bane of my existence in testing. This ohkos it when not a whole lot else can. Dash didn't end up bringing it, which was slightly disappointing (although I still hate the thing so I was better off with it not making an appearance), but having this safety net to get rid of it is what made the difference between winning and losing in testing sometimes.
  18. Nyx is actually a very valuable pairup bot for Leo in Conquest. Just insta-promote her, swap over to Adventurer and staple her to Leo for the rest of the game. She gives basically the same bonuses Berserker Charlotte gives to Xander (with the strength swapped for magic), and makes him an infinitely better unit since he gains a ton of speed. On her own....yeah she's pretty bad.
  19. http://prntscr.com/c2e9yp This is the best Eliwood Ive ever had. (More strength than Hector...what?). I guess he realized he needed to train after almost getting one shotted by the first boss in the game.
    1. Anstane

      Anstane

Whew...not bad. Not bad at all. In fact, that's pretty strong.

I was referring to him having capped speed. He has a 35% growth. I've never seen a Hector this fast.

  23. I'd need a copy as well. I have DevPro but didn't bother getting YGOPro before it got taken down.
