"Hmm." Cass nodded with a serious expression at Darius's explanation. "But if the wielder is someone who doesn't appreciate stuff like killing people or power as you said it, then that approach from those elder spirits would just make 'em less interested in learning their secrets. Though you said 'vast majority', so does it actually depend on the wielder?" He stopped for a moment to arrange his thoughts. He was most likely oversimplifying it, so it was probably better to just wait for the other's reply.

Lumi cackles as Ante and Kai get ready to battle. He was already at the verge of making some very nice minced meat out of the poor Shinx, but unfortunately Zeta had recognized him. The Sableye looks curiously at Kai, tolting his head at her words. Zeta's smile gleams back onto her face whilst Meggie and Murki look at one another in what could only be described as a very very very exasperated glance. Lumi then shrugs and shakes his head. You can assume he was shrugging at when Kai said that he must be wanting to come with Zeta and shook his head at the Mechamon inquiry. You wonder if he didn't have the Mechamon...would he be able to reply with anything other than confusion? Cause he certainly looked like he knew what he was shrugging about. Regardless, Lumi looks back at Zeta and snugs up to her. The sight is almost unsettling to witness to an extent, as his unblinking gem-like eyes and his cackling grin persist through the cuteness of the scene as Zeta hugged him. "He probably already ate your toy. He can come too though, right?" Zeta asks the girl eagerly. Maybe it'd be good to get Gina to the scene...like, Lumi doesn't seem too trustworthy...and both Meggie and Murki are shaking their heads at you. Zeta, on the other hand, is smiling as blissfully as ever, patting his twitching head.

Georgey couldn't take it. The shouting, the galloping...it surprised him so much that he toppled down from his chair while sleeping so peacefully. He rolls over to his stomach and somehow gets up and towards the stairs, rubbing the heavy curtains of his eyes. Georgey goes down towards the main room, where he finds some new guy doing something loud. And Lucius was there too. "Uhm...what's going on here? I'm trying to sleep..."

"Yeah, well, but mine works only if there's someone on my side to actually play for." Cass reponded. "I also suppose you actually studied your kinda magic. I just, Iunno, do my magic. It took some practice, yes, but I suppose I'm self-taught for the most part. 'S why I can't do it right even after so long." Seeing the other holding his hand on his abdomen, Cass kinda had to wince though even if there was no gashing open wound poking him in his eye. He turned slightly more serious with his next notion. "So is it really that you can't use your magic for anything other than killing? I heard stuff and unfortunately actually experienced some of it on my own skin, the feared dark, or well, ancient magic but Iunno how it works. It always bugged me, since my thing seems to come from thunder which can also be kinda brutal."

"Oh, I-I just thought I saw somethi-wha!" Zeta suddenly yelps as something is tossed between her and Kai. A Sableye jumps up waving its claws around seemingly randomly as it cackled. Zeta at first seems confused and Murki and Meggie look angry, but then she smiles. "Oh, hi Lumi~" She says.

EVERYONE **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta, 5 nameless Space Aether Employees** Gina turns to Kalva. "Oh, so Sal finally decided to show up." She merely glances at the Salandit. "It was a gift from my useless husband. Couldn't even get me a female one, but it's fine, Sal and I will be badass together anyways." She remarks whilst flipping her hair to the side and picking up her A-Comm again to type something. She pats Kalva's head spontaneously every once in a while, only stopping when she hears Radovan speaking to her. "We'll have plenty of time to discuss this when your actual training starts." She answers without even looking up from her Comm. "So beat it." Sal snorts approvingly to Gina's words and circles around Quina a couple of times, seemingly interested in her sketches... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- On the other side, Zeta still clings to Kai and as the two of them move, so do Murki and Meggie follow suit. She's still holding tight and won't look around except when she hears some Pokemon nearby at which she glances with interest before digging her face into Kai's abs again. When Gina notices some people have gone towards the Drill, she puts her Comm away. "People, we're going!" She yells and arches her hand above her head to gesture towards the Drill so that the rest of the Cadets would go. [Board the Drill - y/n] -note: this will advance the scene-

"For heaven's sake I need to pee goddessamnit!" Cass shouted as he pushed himself back onto his feet and ran as fast as he could over to the treeline, hiding behind the canopy as he finally releived himself... ------------------------------------------------------------------ He came back couple of minutes later. In the distance, he could see Idei doing...something. He couldn't make out what exactly, no matter how much he squinted. He had other people on mind now though, especially this guy he apparently walked right into. "So now that's taken care of." He stretched, up down, did a couple squats. Wooo, he felt like a new person. "Sorry about earlier. You saw what needed to be done so I don't gotta explain anything to ya." Cass grinned at Darius. "Nice to meet ya, by the way and yes you got that right. Name's Casserole, Beef Casserole. But everyone calls me Cass." He sat back down next to Darius as he spoke. Hopefully by then, Darius would have finished wrapping his wounds up, else Cass would need to cover his eyes or risk getting bile all over his current conversation partner. "It's funny really, I joined 'cause of your healer, Emilee. She just...pulled me into your fight back then. And I stuck around." There was no need for a long and tedious explanation. Cass wondered if there even was one at all. He kicked a lone pebble away. "Feels like I still don't know half you guys. Better do something about it before it costs me my other eye, am I right? So what, you can do some pretty great magic, right? Mine can only be used to reinvigorate people."

"Oh thank the heavens you're done." Cass gave a short sigh of relief as he could now finally lower the hand he'd been holding over his eyes. "I s'ppose you're right." He added, while not sounding quite convinced. Scratching the back of his head, he looked up at the sky, unimpressive as always, but kinda...poetic maybe. He wasn't good with words though. Nor wounds. Nor worms. Words on 'W' seemed to be his bane. Furthermore, the little speech about protecting those who couldn't protect themselves irked a little smile from the big guy and he glanced at Idei. "Yeah yeah, that does feel good. Although well, nothing good lasts forever and so these guys might just fall apart or the new baron in the East might just end up being even more of a douche than this one. What was the Romani family even doing without proper guards, sheesh, hehe. If he ain't payin' he ain't payin', but stuff's still gonna come for some insurance." He grinned, resting his hands on his knees. "I've not yet taken you up on that offer to play somethin' I've learned from nomads. Maybe some other time, 'kay, t'was a long battle. Speaking of things we have to do...I need to...well, you know, nature calls." Peeing on the battlefield wasn't an option and quite frankly, he'd gotten lotsa fluids into his system earlier today and it'd been bothering him through the whole day. Since the euphoria brought with the battle's end and the moment of relaxation he'd just had had faded away, as he said, nature called. On his way, as he waddled like some penguing trying to hold the torrent off, he wasn't much paying attention about people and so, as he moved further away from the jist of the group, his foot suddenly got entangled in something and he fell on all fours. "Whoa-!" Cass tripped over Darius. Whatever events this would bring into motion was for the future to unravel...

Cass's sigh of discomfort turns into a yelp of relief as he sits back down along with Idei. He winced a bit at the sight of the wound. "Yeesh, cover that thing up and have someone like Emilee take care of it maybe?" He said, looking away. He wasn't a particular fan of such sights. "You people as in you, the group, Royal Guard or whatever. With that kid Madante too." Cass gave a brief response, still very cautious not to glance at Idei's wound. "You go around and fight battles and do this kinda stuff. I've only gone with you for a lil' bit and already I've gotten involved in two such skirmishes. Wanna bet how much longer until I get something like...that wound, heheh." His laugh is bitter as he points, covering his eyes with a grin on his face. It doesn't sound like he's complaining about it, though. He himself didn't know why or what was even going on regarding him traveling with the Guards so his situation was odd at best and utterly insane (like that horseman's) at worst.

Cass turned to the sound of someone's footsteps approaching, looking up only to see Idei on his way towards him. "Try something a little closer to exhausted." He said, sighing as he got up, but then giving a short laugh to the other. He didn't appreciate his free time for relaxation getting interrupted, but it was fine, probably just 'cause it was Idei. "Yeah, well, as much as not-hurt goes, there was this fella' right now who left a scratch mark right he-oh wait, it's gone already. Yeah I'm fine, haha." Cass grinned as he placed his hands on his sides. "On the other hand, you seem to have gone through heck. Gotta wonder if this is the norm with you people."

EVERYONE **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta, 5 nameless Space Aether Employees** "..." Gina turned around and crossed her hands, closing the A-Comm down and putting it away. She looked at Kalva, who was having fun with his Ralts. Soon, Kalva would notice that someone else had arrived with Quina, though. Something that Quina happily greeted when it finally decided to show up: ...it was a Salandit. Kalva remembered that Gina told him that her new friend was with Quina. Apparently, that was the Salandit. The Salandit slithered over to Kalva and Quina and began snorting puffs of smoke around through its nostrils, looking at the paint buckets in Quina's hands. "You just keep telling yourself that and I'm sure everything's gonna be just fine~" Klaren had to restrain himself from the urge to pat Radburn's head comfortingly along with his words. He followed him and Rosalyva down to the smithy, gleefully tossing the thread in his hands and wrapping it around his fingers to watch it glimmer in the light. "Oh, pretty!" He yelped when they reached the place. It was all pink and THE MIGHTY GOLDEN everywhere and it was just great! He immediately proceeded to enter the store and start looking at the decorations. "Oh oh did Mr. Your Son make these they're so great! And yes he was the one who sent us here~" He asked the woman, running his hand along one of the drapes.

"Good luck, Mr. Horseman. Hope you find what ya have to find." Cass waved at the man as he rode off. Something caught his eye there and then though... "Oh, and that's a MIGTHY FINE HAIRSTYLE YOU GOT THERE!" He yelled after him. "SPREAD THE WORD AND RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE PONYTAIL!" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Man, I'm bushed." Cass walked over to the rest of the group, only to sit down on the ground immediately afterwards. Meanwhile, he discreetly proceeded to eye the interaction between Myrdwyn and Cadence over something regarding booze, regardless of what it actually was. He yawned and relaxed, but anticipated eagerly.

"See, that's the problem-you understand you'll die but you're still willing to just give up. I dun get someone ready to do that for a man such as your boss. Maybe you're not-really-all-that-sane just like him." Cass frowned at the horseman, crossing his hands. Now he started feeling more like he was reprimanding the poor fella'. It felt kinda good. "Working together with his family is all fun and great until you realize you're seen as nothing more than a pile of dirt. Dunno about you, but I dun think I'd really stand for that. Might just be me, or your situation. Dunno, but I ask of you to pull back together with your troops. Because look over there-" He pointed towards Roman and Rayne flying at him. "-once he goes down, you won't have to work under him anymore and I'd rather not have to help my pals here kill you or anymore of these greenhorns too if you're gonna pull some last-stand crap on us, which I hope you won't. Go live your life, I dun see you swinging your lance at me anymore, so I'll take that's a good sign. Are we clear?" Extending a hand to the man, Cass waited for a response, preferably a reasonable one.

EVERYONE As the party reaches out for the Aether Balls, they power up and a name is displayed through the hologram in blue-their name for each respective Ball so that everyone knew what they picked. "Yeah, whoops, I forgot to turn that on. Sorry." TAYLOR A Meditite pops out of the Aether Ball, landing on the ground in front of Taylor. It stretches before looking up at its new master. [DragonRage controls Meditite from now on.]

"Gah!" Cass shielded his guitar from the hit by tanking it straight on. The lance left a mark but nothing concrete and his magic patched it back up immediately afterwards. Despite this, he couldn't contain himself from chuckling at what the horseman had said after hitting him in such a disinterested tone, basically. "Dude what're you even talking about!" He laughed at the man, dusting his clothes off a bit. He packed the guitar back onto his back and stretched. "Funny thing is, I think I'm in the same or just a very similar predicament as you are, if you get what I mean (these people with me are craaazy...)" He whispered while waving at Cadence and giving her a thumbs up for the plan. "Great plan, Cadence, I got you back!" He said to her before returning his gaze on the horseman. "See what I'm saying???" "Yeah, so I can't ask you why you're doing it 'cause you probably have a much better reason than I have, but I'm going to ask you why you're doing it anyways because I've heard some rumors about that guy Baron Roman and I'm curious now. Also, we'll probably be forced to kill you if you don't give up after we kill your employer. You saw the lady-think she's gonna go easy or give up before your boss is turned into a bloody mess? No-ope."

EMMANUEL Poochy boofs and pushes the Aether Ball's button with her snout. The ball charges up a light blue hue as energy flows through it and Poochy is captured in a flash of light which envelops her. ping Congratulations, Poochy has been caught! [Poochy's reactions are IntSys's jurisdiction now~]

EVERYONE **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta, 5 nameless Space Aether Employees** The Aether Employees ease their stance. Meggie, on the other hand, shoots Kai a hateful glance before snugging into Zeta, who was still shying away from the unknown people. She pushed her head under the girl's shoulder, looking at the men and women as if she was about to bite their fingers off at the first sign of them approaching Zeta. The girl remains silent. "Uhm...what?" One of the Employees steps forward. "But this Nexus has only emerged. We've never had a human appear in one of them, and you say there're even more humans here? And that they've been living here?" They turn to the other Employees who return their confused looks. They eventually shrug. "We'll handle this at HQ. For now, we'll take the g-I mean...we'll monitor the girl from a safe and non-invasive distance." As they reach for Zeta's arm, they're reminded by Meggie that she was not to be touched. Content, Meggie snorts and Zeta runs over, hugging Kai around the waist. They now seem afraid of even Zeta and she could apparently sense it. It scared her a bit. The Employees focus on Emmanuel, Poochy, Anthony and Carbink. Poochy boofs, letting Radovan know he could pet her. Also, she wags her tail at Emmanuel, trusting his judgement completely. An Employee approaches Emmanuel and hands the boy an Aether Ball from their pack. Later on, when they arrive at HQ, Poochy will have to be registered and properly implanted a chip. Emmanuel should be reminded of this integral part of PEACE. All of Radovan's attempts to kidnap Kalva fail as Gina doesn't let go of him. After a while, she suddenly lets out a short 'hmmm'. "Oh, right, everyone, gather around here." She turns to the Employees in the meantime. "Instead of soiling your pants over some cute little girl, why don't you go prepare the Drill. We'll be moving out ASAP. Move." She orders them and they comply. Her reputation among the ranks is fierce, as expected of a veteran instructor and high ranking officer. With that out of the way, Gina turns to the Cadets before ruffling through her A-Comm's directory. Her A-Comm is painted with a flaming motif on its back. "Here we go." She says as she presses something on the screen. A bluish light flickers and in the next moment, the machine produces eight Aether Balls, suspended in the air above it. "Kalva, you can go to the Drill with the others who went. This Aether Ball here is empty." She hands him one of the balls. "She's waiting for you inside with a new friend of mine." Gina gives Kalva a couple of moments to leave before crossing her hands at the other Cadets and puffing her chin up. "You already got yours." She says to Frederick. "It's been registered a long time ago as well." She tells him. Frederick indeed has an Aether Ball on him and in it, his Stufful Theodore. "And you others, I hope you do understand that these are dangerous, no matter how small. You've not yet gone through my training, so I doubt you've met with the real dangers of the outside Nexuses, but if you survived in this place, I think I can trust you. For now. So take these. It will be my honor to finally officialize your Cadet status upon the President's orders." Extending her hand, she allows the team to pick their Aether balls up, containing their new starters...she does so without a smile. Even Zeta, Meggie and Murki react the the sudden excitement in the atmosphere. Zeta peeks out to see what's going on. Murki flies down and lands on the ground curiously. Meggie snorts and looks away shily. The time has come, however, for the start of your very own Pokemon adventure. KAI, SHELLY, EMMANUEL, TAYLOR, SENA **NPCs at the scene: Zeta** Zeta happily hops onto Kai's back, letting out a small giggle. "Of course my family can read~" She says, clearly fascinated by the paper that magically appeared from the A-Comm. "What else can it do?" She asks Kai as they walk down the hill. Meggie, Murki and Poochy all follow. Anthony and Carbink also follow. Shelly, Emmanuel, Taylor and Sena go with them and arrive at the Drill's landing site without incident. (All Player Characters are together now) EVERYONE **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta, 5 nameless Space Aether Employees** Radovan, having asked for food and drink, is approached by one of the Employees, carrying packed energy bars and bottles of water from the Drill. Others may join in if they're hungry too. Kai, Shelly, Taylor, Sena, Emmanuel and Anythony are also scanned and given an all-clear. Zeta, on the other hand... "Who is this girl?" One of the employees asks, approaching Kai and Zeta. "We can't seem to catch her A-Comm signal. Is she one of the people that were also caught in this incident?" The Employees also eye Meggie, Murki, Carbink and Poochy distrustingly. Meggie and Murki glare back at them. A few of them reach for their Aether Balls. Zeta looks over at Kai confusedly and lowers her head. "..." Gina is patting Kalva's head and seems to be lost in her own world, not noticing any of this commotion.

KALVA **NPCs at the scene: Gina** Gina's mouth opens to form an 'o' when she sees Kalva running up to her. She knockes herself straight into him, the impact force softened only slightly by her unaccentuated chest features, and catches him into an embrace. "Kalva oh Kalva I thought you were gonna die everyone told me not to worry but it was horrible I don't wanna leave you from my sight ever again!" She shouts at him then nods, seeing what he was trying to let her know. "Alright, we're here now, so we'll take everyone back home. But first we must get you some water and oh I brought cookies too, here you go." She hands Kalva a chocolate-chip-Oran-cookie that she produced from a pocket of her pants. "Stu wanted to come too but you know how my darling husband is, he was worried I was gonna overreact and have him burn everyone except you, my darling little Kalva, down~can you believe that!?" She pats his head, pulling another cookie out and taking a bite out of it. She then takes Kalva's hand, ignoring any and all people who might've come out of the house in the meantime, taking him for a walk towards the Drill. "I bet Stu's gonna have a fun time spewing toxins all over my husband's toys once I get back home. I told you how he freaked the last time I had him do that. I think that's when he started putting a lock on his Mechamon collection. A toxin and heat resistant lock. Too bad nothing can stop a Salandit's poison, though. Have I mentioned I was gonna be getting a Salandit soon? Apparently the last batch of Cadets that've gone through my training regimen have turned out splendid so the HQ are rewarding us. Speaking of, congratulations on your graduation! I almost forgot, silly me! Here, have another cookie to celebrate and I'll have something really special to show you once we get to the Drill. I'm sure you'll love it." As Gina's unending barrage of words continues, Kalva would notice the Nexus Drill coming into view. And with it, a set of 5 Space Aether Employees and a Cadet he'd recognize from the pictures they'd been shown prior to the graduation ceremony of their new soon-to-be partners. He can't recall his name, though, but it would occur to him to wonder why this guy hadn't been with them until now. (Kalva and Gina have joined with Frederick; they cam interact now) RADOVAN AND DESMOND Radovan and Desmond encounter no problems on their way to the Drill. (Radovan and Desmond have also joined with Frederick) FREDERICK, KALVA, RADOVAN, DESMOND **NPCs at the scene: Gina, 5 nameless Space Aether Employees** With the 4 Cadets joining together at the Nexus Drill, some interaction is bound to occur. The Space Aether Employee Rescue Team asks the arrived Cadets for their A-Comms, promptly scanning them before giving them an all clear as they conclude their identities. Gina, of course, shoos the one trying to scan Kalva, threatening to rip the hair straight off their scalp if they even thought about doubting in Kalva. KAI **NPCs at the scene: Zeta** Zeta appears distraught by the appearance of the Drill, even as Kai explains that it's their ride home. Meggie shows even less cooperative behavior, shying away from the girl's offer. Murki only observes from above. As such, Zeta only allows Kai to pull her a couple of steps before stopping and looking at the girl with a confused look in her widened eyes. However, this state only seems to last so long, as the girl eventually nods and jumps over to Kai's side. These people have proven that they're trustworthy enough by helping rescue Meggie. "Mhm, let's go, I wanna see your house now! Bye bye, Mr. Exeggutor Tree! I'll see you when I come back!" She waves at the sleeping Exeggutor, which remains unresponsive. The girl smiles at it all the same. Meggie and Murki seem confused by her response but give in to her positivity. She was their dear Zeta, after all. "Oh, oh, I see some of you guys have already left! You must really want to get back home! I can't wait to see where you live! Is there crystals there too or are your trees wooden and with leavs?" (Kai and Zeta proceed towards the Drill-they will arrive with the next post) EMMANUEL, TAYLOR, SHELLY, SENA Emmanuel finds no sign of any Exeggcute. If he remembers well, Zeta mentioned strange Pokemon she'd never seen before attacking Meggie, presumably at the time they'd all appeared in this Nexus, along with the Exeggutor. If he wants to find out more, he can ask her. Taylor would be able to notice this and remember he'd heard Pokemon on their way to Zeta's house. However, they were skittering sounds and not...egg-jumping sounds. Is there a tropical Pokemon that hunts Exeggcute?

The girl he'd rushed over to rescue seemed to have pretty much spelled her own demise in this situation. Cass could barely contain himself from digging his face into the depths of his palm at the sight. Thankfully, a loud pegasus-riding blur dove from above, picking the girl up and taking her away, however leaving his sorry ass alone as the big bad boss and his other friends arrived. "What the-yeah, I'm out of here." He said to himself, running by Madante and waving at him. "This is gonna end well..." He muttered as he did so, proceeding to rendezvous with the rest of the crew, who were in a state of dissaray, so to speak. "Just don't die." He said, guitar already in hand... Move to N12, Play for Rayne and Cadence

"I'm so happy I could sing...but I won't. HA!" *insert AWESHUM guitar solo here* Up profficiency in Instruments.

Zeta ruffles Meggie as she hugs her, at which the Gabite relaxes and snuggles up to the girl. Zeta smiles at Emmanuel and Kalva, then she looks at Kai and finally at the Exeggutor, snoring peacefully. "You don't really have to if this isn't a tree, miss Kai." She says, smiling all the same. "Or is Exeggutor just a special kind of tree~? I'm fine with it anyways." She says, moving up to the Coconut Pokemon and hugging its trunk. It doesn't respond in any way. "It left a hole in the house, but it's not like the room served anyone~and now I can have a great view of the outside from my own room up there!" She says as she points at the upper level of the house, where the wall had also cracked. You can see a bed through the hole. Meanwhile, Shelly's A-Comm buzzes: "Roger that, Cadet Shelly!" A familiar voice responds. "The rescue team is moving in towards the Nexus! They should arrive momentarily! Just stay where you are!" Ray finishes and as she does, the team hears a loud sound coming from somewhere above. As they look up, they see a vessel seemingly breaking through the sky with a large drill on its nose...the team knows that it's a Nexus Drill, but they can only make up its shape from the distance. Zeta, Meggie and Murky, on the other hand, seem alarmed as their eyes dart around worriedly, eventually locking as they noticed the airship. "KRAA!" Suddenly, everyone's A-Comms buzz: "This is Rescue Team 1, confirming the lock on the newly graduated Cadet team. We'll need to land a bit away from you. Seinding you the coordinates. We just can't land on a hill, sorry." The Nexus Drill lowers itself towards the crew, flying at high speeds before slowing down and landing on a clearing next to the hill where Zeta's house stands. Yellow Dot - The Cadets Red Dot - Landing Site (Frederick) Blue Dot - The Wishing Well Green Line - Forest Boundary ABOARD THE NEXUS DRILL (FREDERICK) **NPCs at the scene: Gina** The ninth Cadet is boarded on the Nexus Drill. He waits patiently as the vehicle pierces through the Nexus's Spatial Integrity, shaking violently in the process. Soon, he was gonna meet the rest of the Cadets. The Nexus Drill lands safely and the hatch opens.
