  1. Mommo -> TO DA DIVINER'S!!! The girl sighed and got up. If she could attain her goal, or if her goal had actually changed since the start of this tournament, she was at least going to make the rest of her path as comfortable as a woolen cloud coated with cotton candy. To make such an adjustment to her mech though, she needed to go to the Diviner's place. And so she did so. However, what she didn't expect was to find lots of people there at the time. And also Strider. "Hi." She poked the girl's shoulder, not paying much attention to the rest of the crew. She was gonna wait until they were done before placing her request. "You know...I need to thank you. I...couldn't defeat you. Because...you were so kind...you helped me realize...even before I could realize it myself...what my wish was...and what I was trying to accomplish with this tournament...so it's fine...I don't feel bad about losing." Now, it wasn't easy to read Mommo's emotions, especially since she kept a straight face through the whole monologue. However, her words sounded honest. At the end, she gave Morgan a slight semblance of a lazy smile before yawning and hugging her pillow under her chin. She then pointed at the others and asked Morgan a question. "What're they doing..? I want to make changes to the Giant..."
  2. CATHODE SPACE AETHER HQ - floor B9: Cadet Command Center - **NPCs at the scene: Mason** Mason nearly gagged on the girl's reaction to his words. It was as if she'd misinterpreted the sarcasm in his voice as he told her he'd let her graduate. Additionally, the girl trailed on and on about meaningless things again, going so far as to offer him the Repel bottle he'd already confiscated from her. The cheek of these children sometimes... He coffed into a fist and gestured with an open palm to halt the girl's chattering. "Indeed you got just a bit overenthusiastic." He repeated after her. "And I never said I'd allow you to graduate. In fact, I, as well as the board, have decided not to allow you to graduate just yet." Mason said before smirking. Looking down upon her like that, he could just feel how her heart would surely crush underneath these words. For now, he waited for a reply, somewhat giddy under his iron facade. GINA'S GROUP SPACE AETHER HQ - ABRAVATOR - **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta, Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam** As Radovan approaches the image, Abra turns to him. Music: Legends Long Forgotten "Dear Master Radovan, this image depicts the tale of Life and Death, a natural cycle of balance, broken by the greed of the Lone One. Without the Reconcilator, One Who Brings Balance, the order of a world was lost, giving birth to the coocon of chaos." Zeta approached as well and her eyes lit up as she saw the image. "O-oh! This is the Tree of Life, isn't it! The God of Life and the God of Death...you said...you said the balance was broken? Father never told me anything of the like..." "Ye-" The woman opens her mouth to speak but words don't come out. She stares at Zeta in confusion for a moment, hand over her lips. "You...you are empty..." She says as if in some trance before shaking her head. Zeta backs away and runs to Kai, while Abra lowers her head, breathing heavily. "Excuse me, Dear Patron. That...was unprofessional of me." She clears her throat but remains silent. Kadabra, seeing this, smiles warmly and places a hand over her shoulders. "It is all right, Abra. Alakazam and I can take it from here." She nods at him and walks inside of the room. All the images except Legend #08 (currently viewed by Radovan) fade to blackness before anyone can take a picture of them, leaving the room devoid of life. Abra disappears beyond a hidden door in the back. "The truth shall open its path for you to walk once you are ready. The legend of Life and Death is but the beginning of an extraordinary epoch, one heralded by the Lone One's own cycle. You must forgive Abra, though, she must've caught a fever." He adds with a smile as warm as ever. He turns to Kalva afterwards. "Yes, we know who you are, Young Master Kalva." He nods, turning to Frederick, Emmanuel and Shelly. "We cannot read your mind. Don't be silly, Young Master Emmanuel." The man chuckles. "Although I must applaud Young Master Frederick's attentious eye for capturing the intricacy of our little room over here. As for Young Master Shelly's inquiry, these really are our names. Alakazam in particular is the reincarnation of the Alakazam that observed the secrets of The Depths. Start of the cycle of Alpha, set in motion. No wonder it shattered its mind." Alakazam hovered in front of Kai. Suddenly, a sensation of wrongfulness would surface in the girl's mind. Alakazam's stare would only intensify with the sensation, bringing forth suspicion that she was being punished for cheating. Maybe she could try again? This time, however...without a ruse. Gina intervenes in the scene. "As for why we are here...please cut the mystery bull-crap. I want direct access to the Society's files regarding Cadet Betani Tri. As well as an escort for these children down to B9. Is that clear?" She walks up to Kadabra, who smiles. "Y-yes, of course...Young Master Gina. Follow Alakazam while I'll escort the children." He turns to Alakazam, but Alakazam is still observing Kai, waiting for her to correct her riddle.
  3. Orin Orin thought he caught a glimpse of the ship moving as he ran down the stairs but he shrugged it off and continued down, losing sight of the ship. He returned a short while later with a shabby looking backpack, following Debronee's instructions to the car he'd found. "Good job." He nodded. He'd order Assassin to break through the window before opening the door and crawling inside to fiddle with the wiring. "Hey Assassin, you can hide now if you want." He said, poking his head out. He then pointed inside the car so that Assassin would enter. He closed the door and started the car, rubbing his hands together before grabbing hold of the wheel. 'Assassin? What do you think the ship is?' He asked Debronee telepathically, turning the car towards the direction of the ship. Lancer Klaren raised his eyebrows. "You're not a magus?" He asked before smiling. "Oh but that's not a problem~! You're just supposed to order me around to fight people! Also you need to plan ahead of the others, yes! I can do the rest, like, I can sense when another Servant is near or I can also disappear into spirit form like this!" Klaren would, at that point, spread his arms and disappear into nothing in front of Sophie. 'When I'm like this no-one can see me! Oh, I can also speak to you telepathically, which is what I'm doing right now~! This is like my favourite part! Really brings the Master and Servant together from what I'm feeling right now~' He giggled telepathically so Sophie would just get an echoing childish laugh bellowing inside her head. Klaren was having fun though~and enjoying himself very much!
  4. Cass nearly had a heart attack when he heard what Belros said, but then the usual deal happened and he grunted. "Hrng." He chose to ignore that part. He didn't feel like pissing at Belros now anyways. "Sure, I'll keep your word for it, then." He said and nodded. He felt he could trust the guy on this. He had something he was hiding, but that same something also drove him forward. "For a moment I was worried. You looked as off as I'm pissed right now." He grinned slightly again.
  5. Orin Orin hadn't noticed the ship at first. He was too focused thinking about what to do, because he kind of felt lost now. He'd never considered what kind of Servant he was gonna get, so Assassin came as a surprise. In actuality it fit him, except this very one Assassin wasn't being very nice to him for now, despite not saying anything of the sort. He sighed and looked over at Debronee, only to follow the way he was pointint at. "Is that...a ship? In the sky?" He said in confusion, trying to focus on the sight. He took his shades back off to look. It wasn't close enough to discern the details, but it really looked like a ship. He thought of it for a moment and what Assassin said made sense. They could pretty much go there undetected if they were careful enough. "Ok, we can go if what you say is true." He said. "We'll remain hidden and see if we can find out who the others are." He pulled his sleeve over the Seals on his right hand. "I'll go pick something up. You can find a vehicle in the meantime and break into it. Take a car, ok? I don't have one."
  6. Ok uhm....the spy made it all sound so silly now. Cass looked to the side before wiping some sweat off his face. "You're the one making your job difficult. You know, Spies are for spying, not blocking off enemies." He said with a semi-grin on his face. He could feel Belros had at least calmed a bit. That was more than enough in his book and he was more certain now that they could get out of this situation. Of course, it all hinged on Belros taking these enemies on. "Just remember this doesn't mean I've forgiven you or anything. I just don't wanna see you rush to your death. As I've said you're gonna get your share later. First we all need to get out of here. And I mean all. Not all except one spy."
  7. Lancer "But Master, we need to forge an unbreakable bond early on if we ever wish to stand up to the others! And I'm sure all the other Servants wanna get as close to their Masters as I do! ...not all of them have to worry about excess weight 'cause of the blood that was used to summon them though..." He put on a sad face, tying up his robes again. "Not to be mean to the cute little piggies, of course~" He added, reverting back to his chirpy behaviour, took a step back from Sophie and joined his hands behind his back. "Hey Master, so what should we do~? I mean, except getting to know each other better! And tomorrow we can go look over the city! I've always loved big cities!" Klaren glued his face to the nearest window, gawking at the sight. "Aaaaaaaaaaa~ I can't wait!"
  8. Mommo Mommo sighed looking at Aries's messages. What he was saying made sense. She was trying so hard to attain something so simple. But she felt more at ease in her mech than anywhere else, no matter all the drama and excitement. In a way, she was resting during this tournament. It was funny, that she had these thoughts buzz in her head. She didn't quite understand what he was trying to say with 'helping her find her happy ending'...it felt kinda off, even if it did make her feel better. She decided to ignore her doubts. "Thank you" "I'll still fight" "Perhaps it is the best for now" "I still hope to meet you as you say"
  9. CATHODE SPACE AETHER HQ - floor B9: Cadet Command Center - **NPCs at the scene: Mason** "..." It was clear from Mr. Mason's twitching brow that he wasn't prepared for listening about this little girl's excitement over her hobbies nor did he know or care who Mr. Pinkles was. Regarding the little attempt at explaining herself, he couldn't care less about that either. "Yes well, accidents happen, do they not?" He continued in the same tone as earlier. Perhaps Cathode would find this treatment to be easing, what with him not attacking her actions directly, but then again, there was a sinister undertone in his words. As if...as if they beckoned for something horrible to happen. Mason pulled a new object from the desk's drawers, this one being Cathode's very own Sleep Powder Repel. He placed it on the desk next to Suzie's ball and looked at the girl again. "I see you're a very creative inventor, young lady. Not many would think to alter a Repel bottle in that manner, and even less would they think to...I don't know, repair a forgotten and meaningless relic of the past found at the local dump yard." Slowly but surely, his speech began to take on a different tone, well above the sinister undertone alone. He wasn't hiding it anymore. "You speak of punishment, but no no no. It would be quite a shame if you couldn't graduate after all the hard work you've been through, would it not? Or say, demoted to janitorial status. The Space Aether Foundation would be losing a valuable possible addition to its meaningful staff." He stood back up and, hands behind his back, started circling the room wordlessly, awaiting a response. GINA'S GROUP SPACE AETHER HQ - ABRAVATOR - **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta** The male of the two turned to Kalva. "Young Master Kalva, please do not be alarmed." He pat his head with a swift but soft motion of hand. Afterwards, he immediately ruffled the boy's hair and fixed his jacket's collar up. "You just keep watching over Master Kalva, young Ralts." He smiled at Quina. The woman, on the other hand, took over the initial interaction with everyone else. "We do try, dear Master Emmanuel." She smiled at him. It wasn't an empty smile or one with malice. No, it was a genuine smile. Now, Emmanuel could wonder how she knew what he was thinking, maybe even worry over it, who knows~? "A Patron is a valued customer, dear Master Karla. But I think you already know that." Unlike the man, she kept her hands to herself, joined at her chest in a caring clasp. She smiled at the rest just as heartily. "I'm afraid I cannot take my mask off for reasons better left untold. But I will gladly introduce us. Something tells me dear Master Frederick has been expecting this as well. My name is Abra..." "...I am Kadabra..." The man added. "And this is Alakazam!" At that moment, a small yellow creature suddenly bumped from behind into Kalva as he was standing next to Gina, who was at the center of the group, and proceeded to float to the man and the woman. It was an Abra, yet they called it Alakazam. The room behind them lit up all of a sudden, the light source being a single lamp at the center of a moderately-sized round table in the middle of a small square room whose walls contrasted the whiteness and cleanliness of Space Aether HQ's by being covered in wallpapers of various designs, from simple polka-dots to detailed drawings of fabulous mystical beings, possibly Pokemon, you cannot recognize. "Welcome to the Abravator Society."
  10. Orin Orin frowned. He was getting a weird feeling from his Servant, like getting measured up, so he pulled his pants higher and assumed a stout posture with his arms crossed. "Then I know the city, you know the other Masters." He said, pulling a map stuck in the back of his pants. "We can go up to the roof and you'll show me where you feel the Masters are. Then I'll mark it." He began walking out of the basement, making sure to kick the bloodied bottle away into the debris scattered all over the place.
  11. "Hrn." Cass grumbled. So his plan was to suicide himself over whatever happened here in the past. Cass could understand that, honestly, although he too had an oath to uphold, same as Belros. "Like hell am I going! I'm staying right here to back you if you fuck anything up. Playing hero won't help you reedem yourself or anything. Besides, this whole situation is on your ass, so there's no chance I'm letting you fall here. No. You'll answer to me for everything you've done after we get out of this damn mansion! No buts."
  12. Cass was already pretty damn pissed, so when he saw Belros run off into the opposite direction from everyone else, his head grewing boiling hot. All reason cut loose and he gripped his guitar as tight as he could and even more. Sparks frazzled around his fingertips as he ground his teeth together, bursting into a dash towards the idiotic Spy. Move to E15 He stomped as hard as he could with his sandals on as he ran near Bel. "What the actual fucking hell are you trying to do, you goddessdamn idiot!" He yelled at him from the top of his lungs, frustrated, angry and, honestly...worried. All of this was apparent in his voice even if he tried his hardest to stare daggers into Bel's back. His eyes still showed a glimmer of worry and camaraderie.
  13. Mommo "Mmmm..." Mommo grumbled. Something was definitely off with her. She kept losing, even what was supposed to be an easy fight with Strider. Looking at Aries's texts only made it harder on her, as he still seemed to be supporting her. "I'll try to win." "But it's proving...difficult." "Aries. I'm confused. Do I even...want to win?" "I know I want to meet you in person. You can show me how that amulet works."
  14. Orin Not a moment's respite passed from when Orin laid eyes on the Servant standing before him that he took notice of the fingers wrapped around the blade at the man's waist. He instinctively took a step back and extended his arm towards him, Command Seals glistening on the back of his hand. "Nothing funny, ok?" He uttered, trying to sound intimidating. Meanwhile, he really wasn't sure how to react to the apparition. He knew this was going to happen and now that it has, it didn't make him feel any different. It was after the Servant's words that he lowered his stance. "My name is Orin." He shook his head. "Sorry for what just happened..." He scratched the back of his head but didn't let his eyes sway from Debronee. His hands were bloodied and covered with dirt. He'd left his shades on the floor. For another couple moments, he just stood like that. Debronee was clearly not human, and not just in the Servant sense. That could mean there were more special elements he could make use of in this war. "You're an Assassin? That works. Not the best, but..." He shrugged. He wasn't the best either, so this was probably the only way it would've worked. "Do you know the city map?" He asked. He wasn't sure how much information the Servants were given upon summoning. Lancer The talk was dragging on and Klaren quickly lost attention. He picked his spear up and started picking under the nails on his hands with its tip, all while humming a melody. "Pretty much~ I bet it'd be really really cool if the War was actually a sports event, but haha, killing people works too~!" He leaned the lance back up on the wall. He stretched his arms, squatted a couple of times for good measure and walked over to her, pushing himself into her field of vision. "What's a hangover? Who's Faust? You used pig's blood? You know pig's blood is fattening, right? I gotta check my line now! Do I look fate to you? Or swollen? It looks bad to me..." He unbuckled the ropes tied around his torso and raised his now unveiled robes to reveal his belly to her. He poked it a couple of times but didn't seem satisfied with the wiggly result. "Mmm...." He closed his eyes. "Why would you use pig's blood?" He said in a voice that sounded as if he was gonna start crying any moment now. "There are so many better animals to uuuuse..."
  15. Lancer Klaren tilted his head at Sophie in confusion. "Well, I've just told you I'm your Lancer. My name's Klaren if you're wondering. I'm one of the heroes of Ashes. And you've summoned me here, haven't you?" He double-checked the newspapers scattered on the floor for the signs of the ritual. He picked a couple of them up and held them in front of Sophie, but not before leaning his spear against the wall. "See, you drew this, right~?" He asked with a smile, pointing at the couple bloody stains on them. "It'd be great if you could've summoned me first and only then draw the circle. Then you would've been able to use my blood! Ah~!" "You're my Master and I'm your Servant! That's how the Holy Grail War works! You probably have some weird tatoos that've appeared somewhere on your body, right~? Those are your proof of being a Master, Master~!"
  16. Lancer As light burst from the circle Sophie drew, the newspaper she assembled all crumbled beneath a pair of feet which appeared out of nowhere on top of them. A confused moan echoed through the blinding light as a figure came into view, tall and lanky, holding what appeared to be a rather heavy looking spear, tip scraping the floor of the room they were in. The light soon dissipated and Sophie could see the man with bright violet hair in very medieval-looking clothing looking back at her. Only for a moment, because the very next second... "A-achoo!" The figure sneezed. "Sorry, it's all the light making me sneezey~" He said in a rather happy and apologetic tone. "I'm...oh, lookie, I'm a Lancer!" He added with genuine surprise, raising the spear up and swinging it around a couple of times, nearly knocking everything Sophie had already knocked over even more. "Which means you must be my Master, Master~"
  17. Herrman was getting too worked up. A girl shouldn't need to do so much, but she was used to it. She ruffled her mage's coat in her hands as she rode Bel towards the rest of the group. Thankfully, none of them needed her immediate assistance, so she was going to ride off and see what all the fuss earlier was about. Move to N15, Hold
  18. CATHODE SPACE AETHER HQ - floor B9: Cadet Command Center - **NPCs at the scene: Mason** Music: Lounging About Cathode has been brought down into the basement of Space Aether's Headquarters by a pair of armed and deadly personnel. She was sat upon one of the chairs in the room that was supposed to be the department's chairman's, yet the only person standing before her was a tall and imposing, bowl-cut Vice President Mason, with his hands behind his back and his nose raised up high. He observed her from above, walking in between her chair and the desk. It would perhaps come to a person's mind that he might say something or at least give any sort of clue as to why she'd been so forcefully dragged into this situation without a proper explanation, but none of such seemed to be close to happening. Instead, Mason seemed intent on burning a hole in the middle of her forehead with his deathly stare. After a painfully long while though, he sighed and leaned against the desk. He looked Cathode over once again before pulling the Luxury Ball with her Onyx they'd confiscated from her in the process. He held it in his hand. Had it been as he wished, this relic of the past would've been long dealt with, alas, the wretched Haether seemed to have different plans. Why she believed so hard into the prospect of revitalizing human-Pokemon relations that had been long lost was beyond him. "Do you...know why you've been brought here?" He asks gently, placing the ball onto the desk while looking at her with Murkrow eyes and the nose that looked the part as well. GINA'S GROUP SPACE AETHER HQ - ABRAVATOR - **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta** Gina led the group inside the building, Zeta thrudging behind Kai's every step, invigorated by the ice cream she'd eaten and way more relaxed than she was when they initially brought her here. Murki and Meggie reciprocated accordingly, and have generally stopped shooting daggers into everyone's backs. Gina's steps were forceful, on the other hand. She seemed to be grabbing more and more with each one, a flaming rage burning in her usually so distant eyes. She, of course, held Kalva's hand firmly. Another firm concept was their destination. She didn't wanna lose any more time, because frankly, she wanted to report everything regarding Betani, a feeling Taylor knew all too well, though in his case, it was ironically directed at the very woman in question-Gina. She led the group silently towards the main elevator, except, instead of heading inside as per everyone's expectations, she turned swiftly and stood in front of a ornately decorated door. Frederick might've heard the rumor, actually, everyone from the 1st Academy probably has, about a magic door in the Space Aether HQ, which mysteriously evaded one's attention while unobserved. Within it, they say, Psychic powers ran rampart. Except that wasn't really true. Gina placed her A-Comm against the terminal and the door popped open with a click. Behind it, two people wearing simple masks which hid the upper halves of their faces, one male and one female jumped out and bowed to everyone. "Welcome, Patron. How may we be of service?" **NPCs at the scene: Gina, Zeta, ???, ???**
  19. Orin yawned, scratching the exposed lower portion of his back as he got back into a sitting position on the bench he'd been sleeping on until now. Something had woken him up, an odd feeling of dread yet very exciting in its own right. He looked down at his wrist and the now-familiar markings on it, before pushing himself onto his feet. Something fell out of his pocket-a plastic bottle filled with red, and he quickly picked it up, before any random passerby in the park could notice. He knew where he was headed-into the abandoned part of the city. As he walked the streets, he ran a hand through his hair in an attempt to at least somewhat fix it. He hoped the blood was going to be enough, he already knew the words he had to say, but he'd gone through a lot of trouble to gather the fabled ingredient. He felt kind of bad over it, to be honest. Not to get into details, but the whole deal went to shit, and he ended up doing something he came to regret immediately. Now though, he felt mentally prepared, hopefully. Once he got to the shabby part of the city, he pinpointed the apartment building where he'd crashed a couple of times since coming here and climbed down into the basement. It reeked of old rat poison, but it was the best he could do. Taking his shades on, revealing a pair of bright blue eyes, he poured some of the blood onto his hands before basically dropping down onto his knees and frantically drawing the circle he envisioned through the dusty floor. "Hm." He nodded at his work and got back up. Raising the arm with the Command Seals over the circle, Orin began to chant. "Blood flows...unhindered" He began slowly, trying to get accustomed to what he was saying. It carried more weight than most other things in his life. "Stories of greatness intertwine My body is yours Your heart I desire Brandish your soul against my foes Come forth with me unto victory." The moment he finished, he felt a pressure on his right wrist where the Seals were and realized they lit up. Following this, the entirety of the dark room got washed over by a wave of light...
  20. Klaren looked the chair over but once again found nothing. Not a trace of the girl's existence. To be honest, he was sort of creeped out so he ran back out of the house. He was gonna tell Rosalyva and Terrin and everyone about it, so maybe they can figure something out. Move to J1, Hold
  21. "Uhm......" Even Klaren was caught off guard by this unexpected development. He stared confusedly at the girl, or well, the ghost, a creeping silence crawling up his spine, before he pulled his journal and wrote her general description down. Determined, he nodded and looked outside, only to find nothing. Was she just a mirage? Regardless, her appearance must've had some meaning. Klaren went back into the house once again and checked around the chair for any signs of her existence.
  22. EMM & KALVA **NPCs at the scene: ???** "Hmmm?" The man looks at Kalva then shrugs. "We've met only once when you started living away from your home. But, uh..." He seems upset for a moment as he places his hand onto his chin. "...so she hasn't talked to you about me at all. Y-you do know she's married, don'tcha..?" He asks with some deliberation, a blush washing over his face. The man seems to realize this as he grits his teeth and turns around swiftly, only to hold his hand up to wave to Kalva. "I really should be off now. Goodbye, it was nice seeing you again." You hear him grumble beneath his voice as he walks away... THE ICE CRIME AGENCY **NPCs at the scene: Jenny, Zeta** Jenny blushes at Radovan's question and her face contorts into a frown. She seems to retreat into herself as she backs away behind the stand together with Magnum, who shoots you all a hateful glare. "U-uhm...I-" At that point Gina enters the scene and looks you all over. Zeta has a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth and she looks in confusion at the woman. "You should all follow me. We're going to the Cadet HQ on our own, as no one's coming for us. No Slowpokes, I want you all to stop eating this instant and cut the idle banter." ............................................... without much choice, you follow Gina out of the Ice Crime Agency; afterwards, you locate Kalva and Emmanuel together with her and proceed down towards B9 ............................................... >Jenny has been registered as a friend >plot advances when I approve DemICE's character Music: Lounging About
  23. This was just great. They got themselves into some kind of a very elaborate scheme against them. He looked over at the spy in their group with a raised eyebrow. The guy just kept making stuff shittier wherever he went. Cass didn't know what was going on with Belros and these people but he was damn well pissed enough already with what had happened in that bar and before that to not really care to question. "Bravo, bravo. Amazing, everyone." He shakes his head and grabs the guitar. Running over to Myrdwyn and Idei, he plays a short, irritated tune. "Just go." Move to F13, Play for Myrd and Idei
  24. "S-sorry but I can't let you continue with these wounds..." J15, use Heal on Akane
  25. Not on antarctica but ok I'll let it slide this time! ¿Reserved?
