EMM & KALVA **NPCs at the scene: ???** The man looks at Kalva and seems confused for a moment. "Hmm? Kalva? You grew up, din'tcha. Heh." He gives a slight scoff/chuckle. Now, Kalva probably should've recognized the man, but presumably their encounter was a long time ago so he didn't remember. Secondly, as Emmanuel pours the water down on Solosis, it gives a slight glow and she is restored to full health, just like with the branches. It does leave a wet mess on the floor but all seems well. The man looks down at the sight. "Oooh? Is this some new potion formla? Why don't we have that at the clinic?" He crouches to be at the same level as Emmanuel. "I was 'bout to have my Pokemon help ya but this works too. 'Neeways, if you don't have anything else you need, I'm still needed at the clinic." He stands up and looks at the both of them for a moment, expecting a question or reply in case they needed anything. THE ICE CRIME AGENCY **NPCs at the scene: Zeta, Jenny** Magnum frowns at both Shelly reaching out to him and Frederick for apparently sensing that the boy was thinking about petting him. He shoots them a hateful glance before stoically floating next to Jenny's shoulder. Jenny sighs. "You'll have to forgive him. He's like a little cop himself." She pats the Horsea, at which it frowns but gives in. "I just...always liked making sweets." Jenny chuckles. "Magnum was a family heritage. You know, all of my family were officers of the law before this and Horsea are like guns, you know, but safe to handle. I never lived up to that so here I am. And Magnum too. I wouldn't say he loves to battle but justice is in his blood. And it's fine, I rarely get to talk to my customers like this..." She leans on the table. "Seems like you're almost done. I'll clean everything up so you don't have to worry. And I'm glad you liked the Kokoa." She turned to Radovan. Zeta looks at Kai confused but gladly nods and grabs the spoon. She then, in a series of overly overexaggerated motions, puts a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth. Now having been revealed the secrets of ice cream eating, she starts eating on her own and, within minutes, the ice cream is gone and she raises her hands up. "More, more!"

"Mr. P-priest, I-I've got your back." Herrman rode over to Marcus, pulling out her staff in order to heal him. L14, use Heal on Marcus, Canto to L13

"Alright, Sir Arthur. I-I mean Arthur. M-mr Arthur." Herrman nods at the armored man before grabbing hold of the situation and galloping towards the bulk of the group where she could better assist them from, which subsequently led her right on Arthur's tail again. "O-oh hello again." She bowed slightly. N12, hold

"So what, we gotta do something about it? Who's this bloke to us anyways?" Cass crossed his hands at Cadence's story. He was just about to start whistling his whistle at people and whatnot when she came bearing news of this apparently shocking turn of events. He also wasn't really thrilled about going to guard someone's manor because we all know what happened last time they did that-a battle. Granted they did get lotsa wine from it....so maybe it was worth it? "Nah, wait, I changed my mind." He suddenly claps his hands and puts the whistle away into his pouch. "I need to get a bigger pouch. Also, where do we go from here? You probably need to go gather everyone else too, right, so just point us. Can't really wait to start saving this person's life, it'll be so rewarding! Right Idei?"

THE ICE CRIME AGENCY **NPCs at the scene: Zeta, Jenny** "O-oh...well I was just joking..." Jenny blushed slightly. "I guess someone just realized it tasted good. Iunno." She gave a short chuckle. "If you ask me, it's pretty crazy. I'd keep the ice cream tastes to berries and chocolate, haha. The Pokemon that helps me is my Horsea. It's not a secret. It's really just a bit of aurora beaming here and there." She went over to her stand and ruffled through the compartments for a short while before pulling out an Aether ball. "Come on out, Magnum." She pressed the button, letting a horsea out in front of herself. It looked at everyone around for a moment before rushing over to Jenny with a frown on its face. Jenny, on the other hand, blushed and hushed the Pokemon down a bit. "Oh, n-no, we're not going to shoot them, they did nothing wrong...shhh Magnum please..." [Radovan can join the Ice Cream group at this point] RENDEZVOUS POINT **NPCs at the scene: Gina** "She's just someone who doesn't know her place. She's just pissed 'cause I locked her in a closet to be able to board the Drill that was coming to your rescue." Gina said as she waved Kalva goodbye. "Be careful, Kalva dear!" She shouted after him. "Anyways, she was supposed to be the leader of the rescue so I had no choice. I'm not sorry." EMM & KALVA **NPCs at the scene: ???** As Emmanuel rushes towards the medbay, he fails to notice, through his panic, that something as big and wide as a wall suddenly emerged in front of him from the crowd. The blowback would be enough to knock him on his bum. However, Solosis would be unharmed so long as he held it. The large man is unfazed by the boy running into him. He stares for a few moments in confusion around himself before realizing Emmanuel down at his feet and sighs. "You on your way to the clinic?" He speaks in a deep voice. "Sorry to say going there won't be of any help. The place is busy with everyone coming from #08." The man sighs again. He seems both frustrated and down at the same time. Also, Emmanuel would be able to notice a distinct hand-shaped imprint on one side of his face. Like someone had slapped him.

"Mr. Armor sir!" Herrman called out to Arthur. "Y-you should b-be more careful..a-alright?" She picked her staff up and whispered something to it. A faint light soon envoled its tip and she raised it, casting a serene glow over the armored man. "T-there. I-it's a pretty a-armor so don't get it too dented..." L9, use Heal on Arthur

"O-oh...." Herrman obviously wasn't paying much attention to where she was going as she suddenly found herself once again assaulted, this time by an archer. "Bel, we need to move away..." She popped another vulnerary as she rode, trying to steer clear from enemies this time. And then she realized she could just stand where she was and sighed in relief. Hold and Vuln

I believe apologies are due due (lul) to my decrease in postal frequency as of late. I don't like making excuses because I always make excuses for everything so I'm just gonna say it's the end of the collagge (college lul) semester for me and that I'll be back together with PiS like Wednesday next week at the flickin' latest because I hate not doing anything in PiS too. At that point in time Emm and Kalva will come to meet another NPC as they traverse their path towards the medical station. Afterwards, we'll proceed onto Chapter #02 and the first report you'll be handing over to P-AZ. Chapter #02 will feature you returning to Nexus #08 after a certain series of events of a certain quite pompous young maiden fail to produce any results during her team's exploration of the Nexus. Zeta will be of great help to you in this Chapter so do make her feel comfortable and loved, pleasey please~ No official Sub-Missions (god I need to rename these) will be issued for now as we're still just starting. Therefore, the first real Sub-Missions will arrive during Chapter #03 when you'll be meeting the person Gina mentioned at a certain moment in the near history of PiS or maybe get to investigate suspicious janitorial behaviour over at the 2nd Academy. "So we're at the desert but we still can't enjoy ourselves..." Klaren pouted and crossed his hands. "Well then, come get me, evildoers, so I can explode you and we can go have fun~!" He ran up to Rosalyva, his gentle gait merely grazing the sand beneath his feet. He could run just as freely here as he could anywhere else. It would come in handy probably. Move to K6, wait

I find it hard to believe the girl never had ice cream in her life. She seems to be enjoying herself though. Meanwhile, I've not had anything happen to me... Btw...my name's Jenny...and uhm, we can give you one of our refrigerated ice-cream cups to hold the Nanu Cocoa in if you want. If you want dark purple we have the Croaker Deluxe. It's made from the venomous secretions of Toxicroak's glands, but it's gone through detox and it tastes kinda great. Like bitter and spicy and sweet at the same time." She adds as she takes his order and brings him the ice cream in refrigerated but edible cones. They're as white as snow and sparkle like the crystals as well. "Don't ask me how they make these. Probably has something to do with Pokemon." Jenny shrugs and looks at Shelly in confusion. "Oh, uhm, I'm not an officer of the law, where did you get that from?" She blushes a bit and looks down. "I've always wanted to be cool like the Cadets or at least the Space Aether Law Enforcement Unit but I could never keep up..." She sighs but forces a smile. "Well, thank you for praising the ice cream at least. I actually...make it myself...with the help of my Pokemon...it feels nice to be appreciated..." She blushes again, scratching her chin. Meanwhile, Murki and Meggie look in utter shock as Kai pushes the spoon into Zeta's mouth and as she presses her lips against it. For a moment, Zeta's eyes grow wide and she sits straight as an edge but then she bursts into a happy laugh, tongue out. "Owowowow it's so cold but so...so..........it's amazing!" Before any of the team can even realize what's coming, something glistens in the sky above, right towards the sun of this world. The sound of a bang is heard as an Aether Ball explodes in the air. A Pokemon, Steenee, falls from the sky towards you at glistening speed, attempting to strike at Solosis with a Stomp before it could pull its Reflect off. With the speed the Steenee was going at, coupled with the element of surprise the girl had and her skills, and the fact Solosis was a really slow Pokemon, meant that Emmanuel was in one heck of a pickle. His options were scarce on his own, as Poochy was too busy sniffing around to be able to come to Solosis's aid in time, but maybe one of his teammates could help him? --- Nee (♀), Lv: 15 HP: #################### Atk: 46 Def: 50 SpA: 50 SpD: 55 Spe: 71 Nature: Mild (+SpA/-Def) Ability: --- EP: --- Moves: Stomp (19/20) Action: Stomp on Emm's Solosis for 85 Power (Phys) --- Whether Nee hit her mark or not, she would attempt to bounce off the ground (or Solosis) and land on the Drill the crew just got out of. Meanwhile, a girl would land on the same Nexus Drill and place her hands on her hips, trying to look imposing as she made her statement. "Gina. I have come to claim your head!" The girl exclaims dramatically, pointing in Gina's direction from above. Next to her though, the Steenee looks around at the crew and places her hands on her chest. She notices Radovan carrying some ice cream and saying how he doesn't want any trouble. She notices Kalva and Quina who quivered against violence and lastly, she notices the pain she may have inflicted on the Solosis and she nudges the girl's skirt. "Huh? Nee? Oh come on, not now, please..." She sighs as the Steenee looks at her with big eyes. For a moment they stare at each other like that. After that, however, the girls sighs even louder and the Pokemon chirps happily. They both look down at the crew again before the girl announces in a commanding tone. "Your frieds may have won my Nee's heart today and spared your life, but I promise you we will meet again on equal terms, you old hag! And the rest of you, don't forget the name of Betani! I won't forgive you for what you did today!" The girl known as Betani screams at you. On the other hand, her Steenee smiles and waves before the both of them jump off the Nexus Drill on the other side and disappear into the crowd. //PvT combat over// Gina blinks...Sal blinks...and then they look at you. Gina pulls her A-Comm out and starts typing on it, seemingly unfazed by this all. "This is basically daily routine. You'll learn to live with it." She tells you mysteriously. "Also, looks like we'll be escorting ourselves. You may wanna go get the rest of your friends."

"That's sweet and all, until it takes things too far." Cass shrugged. "Look, something happened and I got messed up. We all got messed up. Maybe we were messed up in the first place, not that it changes anything." He sighed. This was getting him frustrated. "Look, I'm glad you're interested in what I have to tell you. There was one time when I knew someone from your people. He took all of us to see the desert. He taught me how to play stuff like...well this." Cass raised the whistle in his hand. "Only better 'cause it was the actual nomad stuff." The urge to shake the thing angrily was strong. So he did it. Like it was gonna accomplish anything. His face grew as red as his hair as he focused on shaking the damn thing. Afterwards, he looked away and crossed his hands, breathing deeper. He'd flustered himself. "What's important is that you're the nomad I know right now. Not anyone I've known in the past. And that's enough for me. Okay?"

"And it's your own loss you never practiced." Cass grins. "It's a damn whistle though. I don't think anyone could go wrong with it." He gets a bit serious for a moment when Idei starts asking questions, though it fades momentarily and he crosses his hands and complacently sighs. "It's not nomads, it's a nomad. I know what I said but only one person mattered among the nomads I met. And there were some others, just people, musicians. I can't say I remember lotsa 'bout them, no matter how much I try, so I don't think I can tell ya much about the person. I know he was a guy and that he is dead now, but not much else. About where I learned to play all these...on the streets, pretty much, and from the same people I can't remember. There are some things that still boggle me. We've sold our songs to our curiosity and I've sold an eye for this guitar." Cass shrugs at the end of the short tale. He wasn't really comfortable talking about this, but he also wasn't a jerk not to tell Idei if he was interested. Idei was a nice fella', after all, and when he, out of all people, was interested in conversation, that meant he actually gave a crap.

"A whistle and a flute, eh?" Cass smiles. "Well then, not quite my style but I'll take the whistle. It's been a long time since I last bought a new instrument. Gotta get my skills less rusty." Buy the whistle for 800 Vespers (bye bye money) "Say, you should be good with the whistle thingie, right?" He turns to Idei as he rummages through his pouch to get some money out. "Still not traditional nomadic but better than those war drumlets."

"M-mr. Marek, you're too kind. I will be more careful." Herrman readies her brave steed Belros and rides among the others, popping a vulnerary with her nail. Move to M6, use a Vulnerary

"A-ahhhhh!" Herrman screamed as the soldier retaliated. She sees him downing the soldier in return and smiles. "I-I'm sorry, mr. Marek...that I couldn't do m-more...but it all ended well.." Canto back to O1

It was really hectic with all that's happened so people kinda maybe probably didn't have the will to eat ice cream. She had to wonder though, where did these kids come from? "Excuse me..?" She shily walks out from behind the ice cream stand and towards the crowd. She approaches Shelly as she was the one she'd interacted with the most, as sad as that sounded. "A-are you Cadets? I see you've come from the Nexus Drills. Did the rescue mission you were in charge of go that well that you had to celebrate with some ice cream?" She asks with a grin. Meanwhile, Zeta looks confusedly at Kai but then smiles and opens her mouth as wide as she could, waiting for the girl to do her thing. "Ahhh-" [Emmanuel can proceed to join with Kalva and Sena if he's done eating the ice cream, if he does so, he will be included in the following event there] RENDEZVOUS POINT **NPCs at the scene: Gina, ???** Gina sighs. "Where the heck is out escort? Useless Sei, he always fucks everything up." She mumbles, however, her A-Comm suddenly buzzes and, before she could react, a voice message pops up... Music: Not only roses have thorns, you know!? "You....bitch!" The female voice screams angrily and Gina immediately frowns. "Not her..." "What did you just say!? Come say that to my face if you dare, because right now, I don't think I give a crap about anything you think. You know what, I care so little, I'm gonna do something. I just wanted to let you know. Maybe you should watch your back." The message shuts down and Gina is on immediate alert. The crowd around you has calmed down a bit. A bit too much. Could this be the coming of a storm? Whoever the girl calling Gina was, she threatened her. And Gina took it seriously. There is definite cause for concern here. -BATTLE START- //Unknown Enemy// cannot calculate stats [Without a way to know where the attacks would be coming from, the best course of action is for both Kalva and Sena to assume a defensive position. Gina is already on high alert and she'd summoned Sal over to her side.] "Our enemy fights by taking advantage of her surroundings. She will burst at us without us seeing it...her battle tactics are cowardly, but efficient...She also uses a Steenee, so all you need to do is provide a chance for Sal and me to fire. Now, prepare your Pokemon!"

"M-mr. Marek, w-wait!" Herrman ran out of the room after Marek but her path was cut off by the whole commotion regarding something she had no clue about. All she could see was a hand axe being thrown around in the air and people shouting. Eventually, though, everyone cleared and got ready for battle? Battle, here? O-oh, she better get ready herself! Grabbing her axe from the bedding along with her staff, Herrman ran out to her horsey who was waiting for her so patiently outside. "O-oh Bel! We have to start killing people already...I don't have the necessary staves on hand though...o-oh my....is that mr. Marek there? He seems to be in t-trouble! M-mr. Marek!" She grabbed the reins and rode ahead towards Marek. Swinging the axe, she attempted to bonk the soldier head. Move to P3, attack Soldier 1

"O-oh, t-thank you, and you're right!" Herrman quickly hops onto her feet, surprised at the man helping her. Not that she wasn't expecting someone to help her, honestly. They always did. "I-I'm Herrman. I'm with the h-healing division..." She stutters over to her room, following Marek. When he deposits her stuff, she sighs in relief. "T-thank you so very much." She says. "I wonder how could I e-ever repay you..."

THE ICE CRIME AGENCY **NPCs at the scene: Zeta, Jenny** "Hello, everyone, I'm Jenny and I'll be the officer-I mean, ice cream lady responsible for taking care of all your criminal needs!" Music: The world Jenny lives in The lady behind the ice cream stand smiles at you, holding her A-Comm up. She takes all of your orders one by one. The ice creams are laid out before you and she swiftly handles them. You each receive what you want and she gladly accepts payment from Kai and Radovan. When Shelly asks for the menu, she nods. "Right, if you want to have a very super special flavourful experience, you might wanna try our special Nanu Cocoa ice cream. Based around the legend of the man who saved the Wailuda Triangle from destructions with the help of the Kokos, or the island guardians. It is a great blend of sweet and bitter made up only from the finest and freshest dark chocolate and our very own Maranga berries, all blend together with the softness of a tiny little bit of Colbur to give it that purple taste!" She says, looking at Shelly expectantly. "Oh, and feel free to sit with your Pokemon! Thank you for uhm...waiting for me to clear that up before bringing a big Gabite and a Murkrow here...and a Meditite and a Stufful and oh boy...they're all over the tables..." Zeta shily walks over to the group and climbs on one of the chairs. Meggie and Murki follow her, utterly confused at the whole buzzing world around them with so many people and such odd things to see. You're sure Zeta feels the same, but your presence alone must be easing for the young girl. "O-oh, okay!" She shouts as she gets her ice cream, but then stops and looks at it in confusion. "W-what now..?" She asks, poking it with a finger and then quickly pulling it back when it got all cold! "W-wow, it really is cold! And it smells funny! D-do you cover yourself with it? Can Meggie and Murki also cover themselves in it?"

"Yeah well, but I can still play the other stuff well enough too, y'know." Cass shrugs and sighs, slumping his shoulders. The parchment he bought earlier comes to his mind though. "Oh right, I forgot...lady, I bet you'd know this lyric, right?" Cass pulls the Ninis' Grace from his pouch and unfurls it for the Manakete merchant to observe it. "Maybe we could go from there, eh? What's this meant to be played with?"

"O-oh, m-my room! And s-sightseeing..!" Herrman tries to pull her luggage behind her. However, he petite bony frame provides no strength needed to go on and she slumps onto her knees with a sigh. She clearly needs help. "I-I'm going to b-break a nail like this..." She mutters to herself, rubbing her nose. She turns to Leofric afterwards. "S-sir, w-why can't my horsey go with me here..? I c-can clean up behind h-him..."
