    Mirror B.

I agree with Ame and Secundum. Adding Miror B. in the game makes Reborn feel kind of derivative. Yes, he was a pretty memorable character, but we already have our lovable nuts. Cain and Terra, anyone?
  2. For main audience I'd say that Reborn is for the older and die-hard Pokemon fans. The storyline is highly mature and contains sensitive issues such as suicide, terrorism, poverty, sexuality, child abuse, and such and would most likely fit in well with more older audiences. Meanwhile the difficulty level here is pretty steep to the point that if you're new to the series then you won't have a really good time. So yeah, I'd say that the game's optimal audience is aimed at the 16+ people who are already familiar with the series.
  3. The reborn-exclusive Ace/Cool Trainer sprite. This is for the female one, there's also another unique one for the male counter-part.
  4. Probably just a mapping oversight, thought it may be a problem with a file in the tileset folder. Try downloading the game again to see if it fixes the problem.
  5. I agree that Absol seems to be the best choice. Absol's supposed to be a harbinger of disaster, an omen of tragedy, he's practically the representation of bad news to come in the series. This really fits in with Reborn's dark and gloomy atmosphere.
  6. From what I've heard Tyrantrum generally has a pretty easy time with her, especially if he sets up or something else in your team uses Rain Dance to dissipate her Droughts.
  7. IIRC, Suzerain is making another fangame named Insurgence. I saw some screenies and the game definitely looks more polished and more well made than his previous work.
  8. Gyarados feels like Castlevania SoTN's Crissaegrim. It's so ridicolous cheap and makes the game so stupidly easy to the point that it makes the game feel boring. The only difference is that while that sword is only obtainable after the halfway mark of the game, you could get Gyarados right in the beginning. That thing didn't even have to be put at a high level to evolve, for crying out loud.
  9. Objection! Fern makes Silver look like a very pleasant person to be around. It's like Fern is Ame's satirical take on the asshole rival archetype.
  10. Wouldn't work. Ame has intentionally scrambled the badges around to prevent people from snooping around to find any future leads. Compare the badges graphic from two recent and different releases and you'll notice that all badges that are unobtainable are generally swapped around per release. Plus I'm not even sure opening up the game itself will work. I tried looking at the graphics files for any unused assets and I've found nothing. It seems as Ame has either yet to make the assets for future episodes or just didn't add them to the game proper yet.
  11. The old Peridot Ward song. The song just screamed how you weren't in an average Pokemon game. I mean, just listening to the song and going around Peridot Ward made it feel as you're in the completely wrong part of town where homicide and gang activity are considered the norms.
  12. Considering that Gyarados was practically an instant sweep for most of the story-line battles, available prior to the first gym, and still evolved very early, I honestly doubt that we'll ever see something like the god carp in Reborn ever again.
  13. I can see your point. But the only downside in using Gyarados was that he made the game far too easy. He only really has problems with electric-types, and the only time you'll see them is against Julia, which by being the first gym is considered a piece of cake by Reborn standards, and Sigmund, which is an optional battle. The fact that he evolves early on and has both DD and Moxie meant that he was pretty much a free sweep for anyone with a few money to spare.
  14. Like Ultra said, Goldeen isn't a really big problem. It's good for the first battle against Aster and Eclipse along with the first gym, but that's about it. Seaking's base stats aren't really that great and it's abilities and movepools are pretty average. Ralts, Scrafty, and Magby were moved because they were exceptional during the early game while still being strong through mid and late. Meanwhile Magikarp was removed because it trivialized the whole damn game.
  15. Probably the new ace trainer sprites, as he above said. I've tried peeking at the graphics folder just to see if there were any unused graphics and I've had no luck. Ame doesn't seem to have put anything for future episodes in the game itself.
  16. There's also the fact that unlike the IRL Kiki and Corey who died from unfortunate circumstances, Radomus left Reborn for personal reasons and is still living. And since Ame is basing off the game from what happened in the League then I doubt that she'd just kill Radomus off out of the sudden.
  17. Ame is love, Ame is life. Reborn really changes the perspective on weak/strong Pokemon. With how easy Gym Leaders tend to be in the official main series, you don't really need a solid team to beat the game. But in Reborn where the Gym Leaders get off from your tears and strong Pokemon are limited, it's a whole different scenario. Back on topic, as a lore junkie, I'd really like to learn more about Shade's background. So far we known that he is an entity associated with death that was once benevolent to the main party but... that's pretty much it. We don't know why he showed those screens to the player. We don't know why he lives in an abandoned power plant. We don't know why he's helping the main party. We don't know why he has a Gengar named after a recently deceased person. We don't know know why he's interested in Anna. He's just... there. I know that he's supposed to be mysterious, but it's kind of odd to have such an enigmatic character disappear completely for 8+ episodes.
  18. Considering how so far all of the problems that we've come across comes from Team Meteor using PULSE machines and Legendaries seem non-existent in the story-line so far, I honestly doubt that it's a Kyurem. Abomasnows are notable for making snow storms, not completely freezing entire tunnels, so it's probably another mon.
  19. I used a Drought Ninetails against her, so for me she ranks as one of the easiest gym leaders along with Julia. Though personally I also found Radomus and Luna easy and the hardest ones were probably Charlotte and Noel.
  20. IIRC, Ame said she does this to throw speculators off their game, so it's not likely Hardy will be the next leader.
  21. Probably Ninetales or Starmie, depending on the situation. Every time I play a fan-game my party will often have either an Exeggecutor or a Ninetales, or both. Competitive-wise, I'd say it's probably Starmie.
  22. Somehow I really doubt that's the real Blake. The way he adds LOLs and uses internet slang like "get baited, son." to his conversation makes me speculate that something is wrong with him and Fern is behind it.
  23. He's actually quite serious. If you're playing this game blind, then chances are the you're going to black-out. A lot. So before any tough battle it's usually a good idea to spend all your money before you lose it while trying to beat a hard gym.
  24. It's been speculated that she is. There's a recent thread that the general community consensus is that Anna is either a member of the E4 or higher.
  25. Knowing how was the quest to obtain Rotom, Magikarp, and Beldum, I really doubt that catching Dratini and Feebas would be that simple. Ame may end up making a huge side-quest that's impossible to discover on your own. (Fainting on a Tauros while your respawn point is at the Wasteland Hideout, anyone?) So I don't think catching Feebas and Dratini would be just a simple case of getting an HM.
