From a Malzahar main, I would not recommend going top with him. The fact that he's squishy and immobile makes ganks very dangerous for him to go top. Also if you're pre-6 and the enemy has a gap-closer then you'll have some issues dealing with someone who can jump on top of you. Yes, his visions can really destroy melees, but Malz is squishy, has no mobility nor defenses, and only has hard CC post-6, so you really need to know what you're doing if you want to play him top.

Camp Alice and Ari here. Though I'm surprised that xe has one of the lowest amount of votes though. And honestly people, I thought that we'd already finally learned how to correctly gender Adrienn, Ari, and Decibel. *sadface*

Shouldn't be much of an issue. Ame just needs to update the PBE file and insert the mon sprites into the Graphics/Battlers folder and that's all. Mega Rayquaza will need some scripting to implement, but if I'm right it shouldn't take too many lines of RGSS for it to work.

My guess is that we'll probably not face xem at least until we're done with the Agate Circus and the drama between Amaria and Titania, so this means that Adrienn is probably around four or so episodes away.

To be fair, Snakewood's story only gets weird and original after the first few hours of play-through. At the start it's pretty much a typical zombie apocalypse with a Pokémon flavor, then it starts to get interesting. But yeah, unfortunately the vast majority of fan-games and ROM hacks just either use ripped graphics, recolors, or simply downright horrid sprites. (no shading, poor color choice, bad proportions) As someone who's been making my own fan-game with essentials, it really saddens me that people don't really put much thought into making their game seem original.

We really don't know the full extent of Team Meteor's intentions, though. Chances are, they'll most likely become well-intentioned extremists by the end of the game.

Ame does indeed have a pretty good talent for writing. I have to say that from playing several Pokemon fan-games and ROM hacks that the only game that has a writing that can really come to the level of Reborn is Snakewood, which is more of a comedy where Reborn fits more into tragedy.

It's probably a mixture of EV/IV spread differences along with different Natures. Your Greninja may have a mixture of poor IVs, a speed-inhibiting nature, few EV points spent in speed, or a mixture of the above. Take a SS of your Greninja's EV/IV screen and post it in this thread so the rest of us can have a better idea of what's amiss.

Solaris seems to be more cool-headed and cunning. Team Meteor only started their violent attacks only after Lin took control of the organization, as it can be inferred from several members' dialogue. Though what will happen to Solaris later on only Ame knows.

Considering how their actions have actually caused deaths of potentially hundreds or even thousands of innocents, including an on-screen one of a major character, then I have to say that Ame really presented them in a manner to make sure that they really aren't for screwing around. The other teams, especially Galactic, have some quite villainous motivations. Though in order to keep the age rating low GameFreak never adds too much on-screen evil.

Pretty much my main point on why Fern is such an excellently written antagonist, as Ame makes us disgusted of his actions as a rival. GF just makes the average rival a little arrogant with a dash of ego as in not to raise much controversy. But Ame went all out when she wrote game!Fern's dialogue and his role in the story. Hell, the way Fern presents himself throughout the game is pretty surprising too, I mean. In the first episodes you'll probably think of him as just the run-off the mill overly cocky rival. Then you get to the part with the Nuzleaf cage and you start to hate him more than Blue or Silver. Then the Beryl Bridge scene happens and he goes from complete jerk to insensitive monster. Then the EP 13 events happen and he goes from jerk-ass rival to an actual threat. It's pretty much things like this that make Reborn's story what it is.

I've made this in mind with EP14 and beyond, so preferably not. This was aimed at in case Fern attacks one of the younger protagonists like the Twins or Heather, or just plains hurts them. Considering what happened at the orphanage, I've don't think this is too far-fetched to happen in-game.

So as we know, we all hate Fern with a passion. He makes Blue look humble and makes Silver's personality seem nice. Ame succeeded in making a rival that we truly hate, not just one who makes us roll our eyes and shake our heads. So here's something that I decided to craft in his (dis)honor: The Grasshole Bingo. Here's how it goes. We all know that Fern is, well, a grade-A irredeemable jerkass that does not seem to have any limit on how low he'll go. So get a card, and once the next episodes go out, mark down if you see Fern exhibiting and manifesting his typical asshole behavior in any of the above methods. Let's see if anyone can get a bingo, or at least get close to one. This is something that I made for kicks and giggles out of boredom, so let's chill and see how artistic American Ame's alarmingly abhorred and absurdly annoying asshole and antagonist's adventure about attaining an amplified and ascended amount of aggressive abhorrence and appropriately adamant abuse appears aligning along Ame's allegedly and ardently admirable artwork. It was kind of an assumption. So far you've presented the water-related ones and other ones for past maps such as the Wasteland and Apophyl. Since every new gym leader post-Noel has come with his/her/xyr own field effect, I'd simply guess that since so far no other effect has been revealed, the EP14 leader must use one of the already in fields. Bad guess on my part, though. Also, can we pretty please have a section where everybody speaks like Terra?

You have a pretty good point, though. While Ame did show the player battling against Amaria, as we can see Deliverance, I honestly doubt that Ame would have just spoiled the game like that, it just isn't her style at all. Not to mention that episode 14 is supposed to focus around the Ametrine area and Blake, so there won't be much time to also go down the waterfall unless the next chapter is unusually long. Since there haven't been any other field effects developed in this time then I'll hazard that the next gym leader will probably be Ciel, since she'll likely also uses the Big Top.

Also, can we have a portion of the game where everyone begins to speak like Terra? Because reasons?

This game is made through the RPG Maker XP software, so there is no ROM hacking involved. The emulators that are used to play Pokemon games are made to emulate Nintendo's handheld's systems. Since this game is made on a software for personal computers rather than the aforementioned systems, then you can't use an emulator in the traditional sense to play this. If you wish to play it on a mobile device then I believe you're out of luck, since last time I checked no software that allows the user to run RMXP games on mobile systems exists.

I don't think Klinklang should even be a choice, to be honest. He's pretty inferior to Magnezone as his defensive stats are worse, his moves are spread out between physical and special, his Sp.Atk is considerably lower, and not to mention that he doesn't even have STAB from his electric typing. Though yeah, you'll probably need a poison or steel mon in case to counter xyr single types. I can see that xe will probably use Florges and Klefki, and may have an Azurill, a Togekiss, a M. Gardevoir, or a M. Mawile, so most definitely bring in a Nido with Ground moves for the Steel/Fairy mons and switch out for Magnezone if xe brings out Azurill, Togekiss, or Gardevoir. So yeah, I'll say a Nidoking/Nidoqueen along with a Magnezone should be enough from xem as at the moment there are very few type combinations for Fairy-mons, constricting Adrienn's potential line-up.

Eh, I kind of doubt it. Shade just seems to be kind of like a harbinger of death, as he does not look like as if he has the power to reverse death at all. Though having the character rise again could really add in a double meaning to the game's title.

Style-wise, I still prefer Cain. Terra being... well, herself is pretty hilarious. Though randomly breaking out in song and flirting with pretty much every single character in the game has really taken the cake for me.

Am I the only one who prefers Cain to Terra? There's nothing more hilarious than Cain trying to act subtle despite having his dialogue filled to the brim with innuendo. And yeah, as what Gaunt was saying. Unlike most websites on the Internet, this community has a higher level of expectations towards respect and, to put it in a way, political correctness. Using the r-word will net you quite a lot of dirty looks and throwing homophobic slurs will most likely get you banned ASAP. So just don't do it.

Interesting. Aside from fixing the right portion of xyr head, I found that the edit made Ari seem far more androgynous. The current Ari seems a little too feminine, but adding that light spot under xyr left eye makes xem have a more male-ish/determined look.

As a TM, it will probably end up way farther in the game. Ame doesn't want to give us strong TMs until much later in the game, so I'd expect it to be put in the game at a much later episode.
