As a guy who writes short stories for lawlz (check 'em out here), I'd be all too happy to give you some advice. First, I know you said you didn't want people to criticize your punctuation, but that's actually crucial for expression and immersion, so yeah. Example: Your version: My revised version: So what did I change? Well, I put a few more periods and commas in. I also did something that I forget to do for myself quite often: Omit Needless Words. Say what you're trying to say in as few words as possible. As for my critiques on the passage itself, it's passable. Very good, actually. You've got a nice setup going on here with the Normal Joe Gets Mysterious Item from Stranger. You manage to tug at the curiosity of your reader by making them wonder what the bag contains, as well as how many more things will go wrong for Mr. Main Character. (It's fine that he(she?) doesn't have a name; I often deliberately avoid naming my characters.) Or maybe things won't go wrong - the bag contains some sort of whacked-out good luck charm that makes his life awesome but everyone else's lives turn to crap. Who knows? It's up to you. As for tips, try and read your sentences aloud if you can to see if they make sense. Omit Needless Words (remember that one). Really, it's hard to find non-technical flaws here. The only confusing spot is when you say "the lady snatched up the remaining bag" and then go on to describe how she left a bag behind. Maybe choose words other than "remaining," like "the lady snatched up one of her bags." Keep up the good work!

Plus, Ame (as well as the rest of us) would be too concerned with playing gen 7 itself to really pay attention to Reborn.

In no particular order: Charizard. 'Cause memories. Lucario. He's just a cool dude, y'know? Quagsire. That face is the greatest face in all of Pokemon. Golurk. In case you didn't know, this Ground/Ghost type can learn Fly. Yup, Fly. You can ride on the back of a flying undead Transformer. If that isn't cool, nothing is. Totodile. Dem Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time feels. Blaziken. Again, memories. Zapdos. My first level 100. Drill Pecking the crap out of Bruno about a million times is oh so satisfying. Spiritomb. This guy is 108 ghosts stuffed into the cutest little rock. And he will pound yo' face in. Dialga. Time travel is cool, giant metal dragons are cool, and MEMORIES (Also Primal Dialga. Primal Dialga is the bomb.) Shedinja. There's nothing better than being able to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to this guy. Of course, that's rarely the case, but still. If you're forcing me to assemble a team of 6, I'll grab Blaziken, Lucario, Zapdos, Dialga, Golurk and Quagsire. Maybe swapping Dialga for Golurk. Honorable mentions to Phantump for being an actual child, Grovyle because PMD: EoT, Skymin because Skymin is cool, Giritina because Distortion World (And, y'know, being a GHOST DRAGON), Accelgor for looking pretty sweet, Tyranitar because it's probably actually like above Shedinja but Shedinja needs some love, Mewtwo for being a total beast, Swirlix as runner-up for greatest face, and Darmanitan because he's just a cool guy. That's all I got.

What, no one said Bridge to Terabithia yet? That's still the only movie I ever cried at. Also, I find your lack of musical disturbing. Singin' in the Rain, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, and The Music Man. Go watch 'em. Weird Al's UHF is also pretty hilarious, if you're feeling like a comedy. And for goodness' sake, go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

My favorite starters, by generation, are Charmander, Totodile, Torchic, Chimchar, Snivy, and though I haven't played X/Y, probably Froakie but possibly Chespin. Who did I pick for Reborn? Mudkip. Literally because I herd u liek them. Seriously, that was my logic behing the choice. Haven't regretted it, though. If I had to pick again, I might go with Treeko, Chespin or Snivy. Probably Treeko though because I recently finished PMD: Explorers of Time and had a couple of feels-y moments.

Guys, I'm so bad at art. So here is the obligatory link to most of the stuff I've drawn. (If you're allergic to puns, leave now or forever hold your sneeze. Ya see? Nothing good can come from this relationship.) See? I'm not the WORST, but I don't have anything other than a tablet and GIMP to back me up. I also have, like, -5000 hours of time spent on art, so yeah. I guess if I actually put effort into something, I could have something decent, but what the heck is effort anyway? I have some other (f)arts, but I'm too lazy to put stuff up. Deal with it. I wanna copy of paint tool sai so bad tho

I used to think Kriketune was kind of a lame Pokemon. After playing Reborn, I think Kriketune is an absolute beast. Early game, Kriketune was my star player. Sing + Fury Cutter setup is such a beautiful thing when it works. If you take a hit, Swarm just makes your next Cutter hit even harder. But then Shelly happened. Speed Boost Yanmega with Ancientpower made me sad. So what did I do? I got myself a Sturdy Graveler. Rock Blasted the crap out of Yanmega and co. Then I met Shade and his filthy Chandelure. I got myself a Link Stone and Sturdy Golem made short work of him. And as for Noel, well. Let's just say Golem with Quick Claw and Explosion is...unexpected. And when you have a surplus of Cotton Candy, you have a shortage of difficulty, which is a great thing. That lv. 80 Ditto? After taking an Explosion or 3, it was done. Earthquake helped make short work of Aya and Charlotte, too. Golem is definitely my ace-in-the-hole.

How about the whole TPP cult in 7th street? That was fun. Oh, and though I haven't seen it in the game, check the Rainbow Field Effects for some good laffs.
