  1. I actually didn't draw those pictures. My art skills are horrible. I did color edit the hair to green, but that's all. I've never played 999, so I don't quite understand the intricacies of the Nonary Game, but I suppose it's a bit like it. What makes it a bit different from your standard Life or Death game is that there are party crashers that aren't playing but join in anyway. I'd give ya'll a demo, but while there's technically enough content to actually have some semblance of completeness, it's in no state to play yet. (Since we all know Reborn has episodes, I'd be developing somewhere around episode 4-ish. Maybe. I have no idea. I've finished about a quarter of it, but all the fun stuff happens later down the line.) I don't think I'll do any competitive stuff yet. After all, I'm the guy with the Level 98 Charizard that couldn't beat Agatha. (It's...a long story.) But thanks for telling me in case my interests shift!
  2. @Telos...why the Luke hate? The best thing you can do in game is catch a Lucario, name it Anakin, then force it to have a child and name that child Luke. (And now that I think about it, twins hatching from a pokemon egg...would be the best thing ever. Free pokemon!) 'Scool, though, as long as there isn't any Quagsire hate. @Amethyst Boop. Basically, it's about a kid who has to get through this life-or-death game a la Hunger Games/The World Ends With You. If he loses, he dies, if he wins, then he lives. But in order to win, he has to outdo all of his friends, and more or less kill them. ('Course, you don't actually have to kill them in game, they die because you're better at helping people.) As for genre, I guess it'd be an RPG, but gameplay is slightly different than your typical RPG, so I don't exactly know. And the battle system is...complicated. Made with RPG Maker VX Ace. And I'm suffering from the game-making procrastinaion blues over here, which I'm sure you're familiar with. if you haven't figured it out yet, I ramble. :/
  3. And dat art. DAT ART. @zimvader42 thanks! Dunno if I'll do the trading system thing, but it's good to know about! @Arkhidon did you make that song yourself? 'Cause if you did, you should be sellin' that. You guys sure do know how to make someone feel welcome. And/or insane. "Sanity is not a thing you lose. Insanity is simply a thing you gain - an achievement, something to be proud of. Rubber rooms are cool." -Me
  4. Whenever I'm in a double battle, my strategy is more or less the same: Have an attacker and a support. In this case, Golem would attack with Earthquake and Clefable would use Hyper Potions (I had a few saved from E12) on Golem or Cotton Candy on Swampert. I won when Typhlosion used Hidden Power and didn't one-shot anyone. Golem Earthquaked. Because the field was, in fact, not abalze, I could hang on with Sturdy, Earthquake, and then Hyper potion. It was beautiful. Eventually, though, my Swampert came out and started using Surf. And that, my friends, is what we call "GG." I will say though, I went in expecting a 1v1 battle. I was slightly horrified to discover it was 2v2. Also #noraindance
  5. Top o' the mornin' to ya. No, I'm not from England. Sorry. Anywho, stuff about me. Um. I've beaten Pokemon Reborn, or what's been released, anyway. Funnily enough, I always struggled with what was supposed to be easy, but found the "challenges" easy. That Strength Puzzle in the Wasteland? Piece of cake. Noel? Give Explosion Golem a Quick Claw and Cotton Candy, and you've got yourself a win. On the other hand, Chrysolia Forest was a nightmare, and so was that Crustle puzzle. As for battles, Shelly, Shade and Sampson were the hardest for me (the latter won with a Hawlucha and crazy good luck). As for my current plans for Reborn, I'm gonna get a Golurk and a Quagsire. (I'd like a Lucario, but... ;_ I'm also gonna EV train Jolteon so I can nuke the Flying gym leader. Currently I've got a Swampert, Houndoom, Golem, Garedvoir, Clefable, and Accelgor. Golurk will likely end up replacing Clefable, Quagisre will replace Swampert, and...yeah. The only EV trained one of the bunch is Gardevoir, with 252 Sp. Attack and 252 Speed. Modest Nature. As for non-Reborn stuff, I have a cat and a self-proclaimed good sense of humor. I am making my own game, but it's a long way off, and I have a blog which you can check out in my signature. I like MLP: FiM, but it's far from the greatest show. I have a Mono-White deck for Magic: the Gathering (and I kick butt with it, too). My current favorite TV show is Hunter x Hunter. I don't watch football. I prefer fried chicken to pizza. I don't have a 3DS, but my favorite game is either Cave Story or The World Ends With you. I have been known to make horrible puns. Have one. And, uh, yeah. That's about it, I guess. Cool. I dunno how often I'm going to be posting around here, but I figured I may as well get this introduction out of the way. Catch ya on the flip! (See, it's funny because you "catch" Pokemon, and this forum is...yeah nevermind.)
